It's a great scenic spot, especially recommended to visit at night. There are various performances with excellent acting skills, as well as many interactive games that are very interesting. It's especially suitable for families with children. There are also many kinds of food available at reasonable prices. The entire park is a city that never sleeps at night.

It's great value for money; one ticket allows you to play for three days. The place is lively, with continuous small shows and games at various locations, encouraging visitor participation. The performers, hosts, and even the cleaning staff are all very polite and enthusiastic, and they're very cooperative when you take photos with them, even posing for you. There's a wide variety of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Even after three days, I still wanted more.
It was really amazing! Just seeing two iron flower performances was worth it. There were so many shows in the park, even three days wouldn't be enough to see them all. The snacks in the park were inexpensive and tasted good. I had lunch and dinner in the park for all three days.

The immersive performance was excellent! The holographic performance is also well worth seeing! Kaifeng Prefecture isn't very large, so walking around isn't tiring! There was also a lot of interaction with the audience! Kaifeng is a treasure trove, definitely worth visiting again!
Kaifeng Prefecture, located on the north bank of Bao Gong East Lake in Kaifeng City, Henan Province, covers an area of over 60 acres. It was an important institution in the Northern Song Dynasty managing the capital and surrounding areas, and was hailed as the "Premier Prefecture of the World." It is now a Song Dynasty cultural theme park. Kaifeng Prefecture, also known as the Southern Office, was initially built in the first year of the Liang Dynasty's Kai Ping era (907 AD). Due to war and flooding by the Yellow River, the original Kaifeng Prefecture no longer exists. The current Kaifeng Prefecture is a cultural tourism area modeled after the Song Dynasty Kaifeng Prefecture Office, officially opened on August 14, 2003. Kaifeng Prefecture has nine functional areas, including the Prefecture Office Culture Area, the Bao Zheng Culture Area, and the Taoist Culture Area, and also hosts live performances such as "Welcoming Guests at the Opening Ceremony" and "The Case of Chen Shimei." Kaifeng Prefecture is easily accessible and has a superior location, making it a great place for leisure and sightseeing. I highly recommend it.

A fantastic city museum with a rich collection, offering a comprehensive understanding of the Song Dynasty and the history of Kaifeng. The only drawback is the lack of parking; visitors must park nearby.
Kaifeng, nestled in the heart of the Central Plains on the banks of the Yellow River, is one of China's eight ancient capitals. It was a crucial political, economic, and cultural center in ancient China, maintaining the historical and cultural roots of the Chinese nation. Thousands of years of development have shaped Kaifeng into the ancient capital it is today, boasting numerous scenic spots and historical sites, rich cultural heritage, vibrant folk culture, and a diverse array of unique cuisine. Precious artifacts tell the story of Kaifeng's long and rich history. The Kaifeng Museum allows us to journey through time, witness Kaifeng's vicissitudes, and experience the unique charm of this ancient city!

Daxiangguo Temple is truly worthy of being called an imperial garden. It's definitely worth a visit! The gardens are small but exquisite, boasting 500 arhats and the Thousand-Armed and Thousand-Eyed Guanyin. The Sutra Library, though accessible, is breathtaking. The walk took 1-1.5 hours. We even caught a chrysanthemum exhibition. While there weren't many varieties, as seen in the last picture, it was incredibly colorful.
It is recommended to visit Daxiangguo Temple when traveling in Kaifeng, Henan. The park is small, but very exquisite and clean. 👍 As soon as you enter the gate, you will see the scenery of Lu Zhishen pulling out the weeping willow. It should be noted that you should buy tickets online 🎫 an hour in advance, otherwise... wait 😄

A day trip to the Kaifeng Hanyuan Stele Forest coincided with a chrysanthemum exhibition. The garden was ablaze with vibrant chrysanthemums, some exuding a graceful fragrance, others delicately glistening with dew, making the ancient garden's inscribed steles even more enchanting. A delightful surprise awaited me—two young men dressed in ancient attire played soft music. Their flowing robes mingled with the chrysanthemum fragrance, resonating with the steles, as if the spirit of the Song Dynasty had traveled through time. Needless to say the chrysanthemums were beautiful, nor the music melodious; the ingenuity of this combination of "ancient garden + flower exhibition + elegant music" alone added a layer of poetry to an ordinary garden visit. Walking under the stele corridor, listening to the melodious tunes, and gazing at the autumn chrysanthemums, I felt a sense of peace, as if time itself slowed down. This immersive and refined experience deserves praise!
The Su Shi sitcom was a pleasant surprise, with performances at 3:00 PM and 5:10 PM. Be careful on the narrow path up, as it's a bit dangerous. The garden is very classical and beautiful even in the rain.

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, the room was spotless and odor-free, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom's separate shower and toilet area was a thoughtful touch. The service was impeccable; from check-in to check-out, the staff were always smiling and welcoming, and responded to every request very quickly. Excellent value for money, I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!
The night view from the Bianhe River cruise is quite nice. There are two routes to choose from; I personally recommend the one to Bao Gong Temple, which passes under thirteen bridges, allowing you to experience a unique culture. Each bridge has different patterns and inscriptions. During the cruise, you can also see some dance performances. However, some photos don't turn out well at night. My only wish is that the cruise could include a guided tour, making the experience more interesting and culturally rich. The staff at the boarding gate were very patient in answering questions. If you're visiting Kaifeng and have a cruise in mind, you can buy a 128 RMB package ticket for Wansui Mountain, which includes the cruise. Otherwise, a separate ticket costs 40 RMB one way.

The Baogong Temple is a shrine-like building dedicated to Bao Zheng, showcasing his life and deeds. It's small and simple in layout, consisting of three courtyards. The first serves as the main entrance. The second is the main building, the Baogong Temple. Two portraits of Bao Zheng are displayed here, and the third focuses on clean governance. There's also Baogong Lake in the back.
During this summer vacation, I took my children on a trip to the Bao Xiaosu Temple in Hefei. This temple commemorates Bao Zheng, a high-ranking official of the Northern Song Dynasty. Originally built during the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt during the Qing Dynasty, it comprises a three-sided courtyard with white walls and green tiles. The main structure is the Bao Gong Pavilion, where a towering statue of Bao Zheng sits. A black stone carving of Bao Zheng is embedded in the wall, creating a majestic and upright image, reflecting the awe-inspiring integrity of the "iron-faced and impartial" Bao. To the west of the pavilion is a curved corridor; to the east stands a hexagonal Longjing Pavilion, housing an ancient well known as the "Lianquan" (Lianquan). This is a perfect summer getaway for children, offering both historical insights and scenic views.

The scenery is alright, but the price is too high if you only buy tickets. 40 yuan for Tianbo Yang Mansion is really not worth it; it's all man-made. Unless you're interested in the history of the Yang family generals, there's no need to go in specifically.
The scenery at Longting Scenic Area is beautiful. The chrysanthemum exhibition is lovely right now. There are exciting programs throughout the day and evening, and the night view is even more stunning. A combined ticket for Longting Scenic Area and Tianbo Yang Mansion offers great value.

My parents didn't want to go to Qingming Garden, so they visited all the other attractions in Kaifeng. It's very Kaifeng-style, the park is huge, and the main attraction is the pagoda. The environment is beautiful, and there are performances at each gate. You can even rent an electric scooter to navigate the area. There's water mist spraying everywhere—I don't know if it's to increase humidity or create a fairyland feel...
A special shoutout to the staff at the scenic spot's visitor center! I dropped my sunglasses right after entering, and when I explained the situation, they immediately called up the security camera and confirmed they'd found them. I thought I was just going to have to admit I was unlucky, but before I could even leave, the staff caught up and told me they'd handed them in to the exit security office. I'm so grateful to the scenic spot for its excellent management and quality. By the way, the Iron Tower area is included in the Wansui Mountain package, and the guides and scenery are impeccable. Kaifeng's cultural tourism efforts are truly impressive. 🤩
