Kamakurakōkō-Mae Station is a charming seaside stop on the Enoshima Electric Railway, famous for its breathtaking ocean views. The moment you step off the train, the sound of waves and fresh sea breeze create a calming atmosphere. It’s especially popular with fans of the anime Slam Dunk, as the nearby railway crossing is an iconic scene. The station itself is small and simple, but its surroundings make it unforgettable. Perfect for photography, a peaceful walk, or just soaking in coastal scenery, this station offers a unique blend of nostalgia and natural beauty that makes every visit worthwhile.
The prototype of "Slam Master": Kamakura University Front Station and the surrounding area are the prototype of the animation "Slam Master" in Lingnan High School, the scene of the railway crossing, Jiangzhi tram and Hunan coast has become the youthful memory of countless fans. The classic encounter scene between Sakuragi Flower Road and Akagi Qingzi attracted global tourists to re-engrave the comic face, becoming the core landmark of Kamakura tourism. Moreover, the persistence, friendship and dream spirit conveyed in animation, combined with the seaside scenery of Kamakura University, make it a figurative symbol of "bloody youth" in the hearts of a generation. Kamakura University Front Station, Qilibin Beach, Enoshima Sunset and other attractions form a complete "youth tour" route, tourists can feel the animation feelings and natural beauty in a day.

Kamakura is home to dozens of temples, making it a Buddhist capital. The most famous of these is Kotoku-in Temple, home to the renowned Great Buddha of Kamakura. Get off at Hase Station and walk about ten minutes to reach Kotoku-in Temple. Entrance fee: 200 yen. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by the Great Buddha of Kamakura. A National Treasure of Japan, it's a major tourist attraction in Kamakura, attracting a constant stream of visitors year-round. Including its pedestal, the statue stands 13.35 meters tall. Made of bronze, it's centuries old. Circling the statue, you'll find a small door that allows you to enter and observe its inner workings. The Great Buddha of Kamakura was originally housed in the Great Buddha Hall, but it became an open-air statue after the hall collapsed due to typhoons, earthquakes, and tsunamis. Furthermore, when it was first built, it was covered in gold leaf, though only a small amount remains today.
The tour guide Sasaki is very interesting and responsible. He can switch between Chinese and English freely and sing for everyone. He greeted everyone with a smile all the way. I like it. It was a special experience to catch up with the season when cherry blossoms fall.

The back view of Sakuragi Hanamichi after school was taken towards the sea, so countless "Slam Dunk fans" come to Kamakura Seaside Boulevard, and their eyes are only on the coastline scenery. In fact, if you can slow down and look back at the other side of the seaside boulevard, it is also very beautiful. Especially the small wooden buildings with unique shapes and colorful colors are exactly the same as in the anime.
Kamakura's famous tourist attraction, the Enoden Railway, the green tram speeding past, everything appeared in the Slam Dunk animation, the ding-dong-dong sound rang out, as if everything was so familiar!

When you come to Kamakura, Komachi Street is a must-visit food street. There are indeed some things you can't eat in other places, such as "Buddha head" and so on. Some introductions will list it as a commercial street and compare it with Tokyo Ginza and Osaka Shinsaibashi. In fact, these three places are completely different concepts and there are still big differences. Komachi Street is very narrow, but it is relatively long. If you don't eat, it's quite monotonous to walk around. Machi means place, and Tong means connecting several lively places.
Restaurant: Sugi Bee Garden Address: 2-8-12 Komachi, Kamakura City Honey shop in shopping district Shops selling natural honey products, including honey drinks and ice cream with different flavors🍦, are very attractive. The store is bright and bright, making people feel comfortable. I ordered a cup of honey ice cream🍦 and it was only $350 yen, which was a great value. The ice cream was turned around four times, the portion was not small, the taste was slightly sweet, and the texture was cottony and smooth.

It is one of the three major Hachimangu shrines in Japan. It has a history of more than 800 years. It is the most famous Buddhist holy place in Kamakura. It is worth making a pilgrimage to experience the value of faith.
Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine is a shrine located in Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It is one of the three major Hachimangu Shrines. The main deities are the three Hachiman gods: Emperor Ojin, Himei, and Empress Jingu. Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine was the center of belief in the guardian gods of samurai in the Middle Ages and is still the symbol of Kamakura. In 1063, after Minamoto no Yoriyoshi pacified Oshu and returned to Kamakura, he advised Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine, where he had prayed for victory before going out, to establish Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine in Yuigahama. Hachimangu Shrine does not require tickets, but tickets are required to visit the National Treasure Museum. The lotus flowers bloom very well in summer. On the west side of Wakamiya Avenue, which extends straight from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, is a north-south road, Komachi Street. There are everything from specialty food stores to craft stores such as Kamakura carvings, from old restaurants to fashionable cafes. There are more than 200 restaurants and shops along both sides of the road and deep in the alley, attracting many people to shop. You can stop by and visit.

Kamakura, one of the three ancient capitals of Japan, has a long history and a profound accumulation of culture and tradition. In addition to the popular online celebrity attractions such as the filming location of "Slam Dunk" and Komachi Street, you can walk around the streets and alleys and find that there are scenery worth seeing everywhere. Especially some ancient buildings, small wooden houses and churches of various shapes and well-preserved, some traditional old brands that are hundreds or even thousands of years old, and beautifully trimmed and uniquely shaped trees, and people who are not as hurried as Tokyo and Osaka. In Kamakura, just slow down, relax, and slow down your emotions!
One of Japan's beautiful coastlines, when the weather is clear, you can see Mount Fuji in the distance from Zushi Beach. This is also where the Ryonan High School and many seaside scenes in "Slam Dunk" were filmed.

Very nice, the maple leaves are very red, early December is considered late maple near Tokyo, Hasedera Temple is very delicate, there are maple leaves, Japanese-style buildings, Buddhist temples and statues, the little novice stone statue is very cute, very photogenic
In 721 AD, the monk Tokudō Shonin commissioned two statues of the Eleven-Faced Guanyin to be made from the same camphor tree. One was sent to Nara for worship, and the other was thrown into the sea as a sacrifice. 15 years later, the Guanyin statue that was thrown into the sea was washed up on the Kamakura coast by the tide, and later Hasedera Temple was built to worship it. To this day, the main statue of the Eleven-Faced Guanyin at Hasedera Temple is the largest wooden Buddha statue in Japan. The environment of the temple is very good, with a Japanese garden atmosphere, and you can also see the sea of Kamakura.

It was really beautiful under the setting sun, so this was also the benefit of going back from the end point. When I saw the coast of Shichirigahama, I felt a sense of déjà vu. After I came back, I remembered that this was the invasion! Isn’t it a scene from the Squid Girl comics?
The breeze was blowing gently, and only a few discordant debris on the beach reminded us that this land had been ravaged by a typhoon the day before. This is my favorite place in Kamakura, and there are so many people surfing here, it's so cool.
