When the weather is good, the snow-capped mountains behind the Shirahige Falls will be even more beautiful. I didn’t expect that I was so lucky this time. I encountered a sunny day with super good visibility. I saw this epic beauty with my own eyes! The Shirahige Falls itself is very beautiful🥹. Coupled with the rolling snow-capped mountains in the distance🥰, it is really one of the most unforgettable moments of this trip to Hokkaido.
What’s amazing is that even in the cold winter, Shirakushi Falls doesn’t freeze, so you can come here all year round.
Although the waterfall does not freeze, the surrounding branches have turned into "ice trees", which are as beautiful as works of art.
