Interesting & enjoyable tour - worth waiting for the half hour guided tour. Beautiful house and grounds full of 6 toed cats.
Hemingway's book "The Old Man and the Sea" was written in the Keywest Hemingway House. The exterior walls of the house are white and yellow-green, a typical Victorian style, surrounded by a small garden that is not large but lush.

The Key West Lighthouse is located in Key West, Miami, opposite the Hemingway House. It is a popular local check-in spot. The lighthouse can be clearly seen from Hemingway's house. When I visited the former residence, it was closed. It is important to manage your time.
Opposite Hemingway's former residence, you can see a very old lighthouse open to the public. I came here directly from the former residence. Key West is located in an important military fortress area in the United States. Building a lighthouse is essential to ensure the safe arrival of military and commercial ships. This lighthouse opened in 1848, with a woman as the keeper. Later, the lighthouse underwent a series of upgrades and added keeper's quarters. In 1969, due to technological advances, full-time keepers were no longer needed. Now this former sea sentinel is a museum of Key West's maritime heritage. Key West Art & Historical Society includes a total of 4 museums: Custom House Museum, this one, Fort East Martello Museum and Tennessee Williams Museum, all of which are related to the history of Key West. Address: 281 Front Sreet, Key West Opening hours: 9:30-16:30 Tickets: Adults 12$, Seniors 9$, Children 5$, Free for children under 6 years old (You can get a 2$ discount by showing a small ticket to the other four museums)

Located in the national park west of Key West, there is a military fort that can be visited for free. There are not many people and there are not many things on display, mainly a few cannons. There is a beach next to it, 2.5 US dollars per person, and it seems that there are many people. The sun is very good, and many people are sunbathing on the beach. There are also parking lots nearby, which is quite convenient.
The beach definitely was a bit rocky but it wasn’t crowded any of the days we went. There’s public bathrooms, a chair rental, concession and the historic fort.
