The village scenery is nice, and the sunset is beautiful. There aren't any particularly good guesthouses up there; they're all pretty much the same. If you're not in good shape, the climb might be a bit tiring. I suggest not bringing luggage; if you're only staying one night, just bring a backpack. The performance venue is in the parking lot below, so pay attention to the time to avoid going up and down repeatedly – it's exhausting. There's a Pangu Temple at the top of the mountain, and the constant firecrackers from early morning can be a bit disruptive to sleep. The bonfire party in the evening is somewhat underwhelming; you can skip it if you prefer.
