The distances marked on the signs in the scenic area should be doubled. For the first attraction, Wolongtan, there's a bus stop, but don't get off there! Walk a long way to the next stop before you reach the attraction! The scenic area is very beautiful. On the way back, take the scenic shuttle bus around the back of the mountain to return to the starting point!
Libo Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is a highly recommended tourist attraction. As a national 5A-level scenic area and a World Natural Heritage site, it features karst landforms and integrates mountains, water, forests, caves, lakes, and waterfalls, earning it the reputation of "the emerald on the Earth's belt." The overall experience is serene, dynamic, and richly layered, suitable for photography, hiking, and family water activities. The highlights of the scenic area are concentrated along the Xiangshui River: the ancient Xiaoqikong Bridge built in 1835; the cascading Laya Waterfall; 68 waterfalls densely distributed along a 1.6-kilometer stretch of the river; the emerald-green Wolongtan (Sleeping Dragon Pool); the Yuanyang Lake, accessible by boat; and the "water forest" where "water flows through the forest." From October to December each year, the red spider lilies bloom extensively in the valley, adding a seasonal romance. The entire area offers a constantly changing landscape, with the water's color displaying multi-layered blue-green gradations depending on the light and water volume, making for excellent photo opportunities. The park is open from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Adult tickets are typically NT$120 (excluding the sightseeing bus), which must be purchased separately (subject to daily announcements). High visitor volume is expected during holidays; it's advisable to avoid peak times. The best season is from June to October (high water season), when the waterfalls and water colors are at their peak, ideal for water activities and photography. Autumn and winter offer beautiful views, but the water volume and color are less vibrant. It is recommended to wear non-slip river shoes, bring spare clothing, and sun/rain gear. Seniors and families can utilize the park's transportation system for a more relaxed pace. Restaurants within the park are scattered and relatively expensive; it's recommended to bring snacks and water to sustain you through long walks and water activities.

It's worth seeing. I recommend doing your research beforehand to avoid backtracking. Overall, it's a very good experience. Just be aware that the sightseeing bus stops running after 10:30 am.
The scenery is beautiful, but everything else is unworthy of the ticket price. The sightseeing bus is also inexplicable; I don't know what its purpose is. It's only the guesthouse's service and environment that salvage the situation.

The night view was enchanting, and experiencing the two types of locks was fantastic. I arrived early, but the ticket inspector helped me change my ticket to an earlier departure if there were available seats. The fourteen bridges are all unique in design; pay special attention to the paintings and reliefs beneath the bridge surfaces.
What an amazing one-hour experience! Dylan assisted us all the way and check in on us every step of the way. He was very prompt, friendly and helpful! The breathtaking scenery was worth every minute and cent spent!

The user experience is fantastic! Visiting Elephant Trunk Hill in Guilin is breathtaking. The hill connects seamlessly with the water, resembling an elephant drinking water—it's incredibly lifelike. The surrounding facilities are excellent, and transportation is convenient, making it suitable for family trips. Overall, Elephant Trunk Hill is a must-see in Guilin and highly recommended!
Memories of Elephant Trunk Hill Elephant Trunk Hill is the emblem of Guilin and the prototype for the scenery described in the elementary school textbook "Guilin Landscape." It's amazing that this must-visit place is free! Slow down, let your gaze linger, and carefully appreciate every scene. 1. How to capture the iconic image of Guilin? In Elephant Trunk Hill Park, walk along the riverside path to the Water Moon Cave to capture the classic image of the "elephant trunk" reflected in the water. Visit Love Island or take a bamboo raft to the water directly in front of Elephant Trunk Hill for a close-up shot of the "elephant drinking water" scene. From a compositional perspective, a person standing in front of the elephant trunk can be framed alongside the core landscape of "elephant trunk drinking water," highlighting the iconic shape of Elephant Trunk Hill while blending the person with the natural scenery, resulting in a layered and highly recognizable image. Placing a person inside the Water Moon Cave would make them appear "imprisoned." 2. What is the Double Moon Spectacle on the Li River? Arriving at Love Island in Elephant Trunk Hill Park, you can see three hills, two caves, and a river. The three hills are Elephant Trunk Hill, Pierced Hill, and Pagoda Hill. The two caves are the Water Moon Cave on Elephant Trunk Hill and the Moon Rock Cave on Pierced Hill, facing each other across the Li River. The Water Moon Cave resembles a bright moon floating on the water, while the Moon Rock Cave resembles a bright moon hanging high in the sky, forming the Double Moon landscape of the Li River. 3. Can the Water Moon spectacle of Elephant Trunk Hill be seen during the day? The Water Moon Cave is shaped like a full moon, half embedded in the mountain and half submerged in the water. From a distance, the outline of the cave entrance on the water's surface resembles a "bright moon" floating on the water, naturally fitting the imagery of "a bright moon floating on the water." When light passes through the Water Moon Cave, the light forms spots on the water's surface, which can be poetically interpreted as "a bright moon beneath the water." When a gentle breeze ripples across the water, dappled sunlight dances on the surface, perfectly capturing the ethereal beauty of "the moon floating on the water." This, combined with the reflection of the Water Moon Cave in the water, creates a dual spectacle of "a moon beneath the water, and a moon floating on the surface." 4. What is the spectacular "Three Moons Competing for Glory" scene? On a full moon night, without artificial light, from beside the Water Moon Cave or the viewing platform in Zizhou Park, one can see three moons: the moon in the sky, its reflection in the water, and the Water Moon Cave itself combined with its reflection to form a "full moon." This creates the spectacular "Three Moons Competing for Glory" scene, where "a moon beneath the water, a moon floating on the surface, the water flows but the moon doesn't go, the moon goes but the water still flows." When warm yellow light illuminates the Water Moon Cave, the cave itself appears as a moon floating on the water, and its reflection also resembles a moon in the water. The moon in the sky, the "moon in the cave," and the "moon in the water" together constitute the spectacular "Three Moons Competing for Glory" scene. Warm yellow lights outlined the Water Moon Cave and illuminated parts of Elephant Trunk Hill, making its silhouette resemble a giant elephant walking on water—a dreamlike scene. 5. What is the scenery of "Pagoda Mountain's Clear Reflection"? Climbing to the top of Elephant Trunk Hill, one can see that Pagoda Mountain resembles a tortoise carrying an ancient pagoda across the river. The pagoda, called Foshou Pagoda, was awarded the Guinness World Record in 2007 by the Shanghai Great World Headquarters for "Ancient Pagoda Located on the Smallest Stone Mountain Peak." Under the blue sky and white clouds, the mountain, the solitary pagoda, and its reflection in the river create an ink painting-like scene, hence the name "Pagoda Mountain's Clear Reflection." 6. Why was Puxian Pagoda built on Elephant Trunk Hill?

Duxiu Peak and Jingjiang Prince City Scenic Area, located in Xiufeng District, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is a scenic tourist area rich in history and culture, covering an area of 283 acres. Duxiu Peak, along with Diecai and Fubo Peaks, forms a triad of mountains, one of the main peaks of Guilin, known as the "Pillar of the Southern Sky" and historically called the First Peak of Guilin. Rising abruptly, its shape is like a knife-cut hex, surrounded by other mountains, standing proudly like an emperor. Climbing 306 steps leads to the summit, the best viewing platform for panoramic views of Guilin. Located 1000 meters north of Diecai and 500 meters east of Fubo, it has an altitude of 216 meters, rising 66 meters above the plain, measuring 120 meters long and 50 meters wide, covering an area of 0.61 hectares. Surrounded by mountains in the distance, it resembles a courtier paying homage, creating a regal atmosphere of "a solitary peak not serving the other mountains," laughing at the surrounding peaks, and is known as the "Head of the Mountains, King of the Mountains." The cliffside inscriptions are scattered like stars, displaying a rich tapestry of history. Among them is the famous line, "Guilin's scenery is the best under heaven," which originated here. The intangible cultural heritage of the Jingjiang Prince's Palace is "Prince's Palace Rubbings," pioneered by Zhu Zuojing, the fifth Prince of Jingjiang. Using color rubbing techniques, it stems from the study of the palace's stone inscriptions and boasts a 600-year history. The most representative rubbing, featuring the Five Blessings, was featured on CCTV's Spring Festival Gala.
This is a highly recommended attraction. It boasts pristine, ancient scenery. A guide usually leads a group of about 10 people, providing explanations and commentary throughout the visit. It's excellent, allowing you to experience scenery and culture you wouldn't normally see. There are many authentic cultural relics reflecting Guilin's past and present. I suggest visiting if you have the time, but be prepared for the climb to the top for panoramic views of Guilin.

Visiting the Longji Rice Terraces in early November, it was drizzling. The rice was ripe, and the layers of golden rice fields, set against the backdrop of the misty rain, had a poetic beauty that made one marvel at the diligence and resilience of our Chinese ancestors.
1. Autumn deepens, the sunlight bathes the world in a warm glow, even worries seem gentler. 2. Autumn has arrived, and the air is filled with the aroma of roasted chestnuts and sweet potatoes, as warm as a familiar embrace. 3. Leaves fall gently in the autumn breeze, like letters from the past, telling tales of autumn's tenderness and tranquility. 1. Autumn is a poem, each fallen leaf a rhyming note, writing the story of time. 2. Autumn is nature's ink painting, its rich colors blending to create a serene and profound poetic atmosphere. 3. I wander through autumn's tapestry, encountering every golden hue, collecting the romance that belongs to autumn.

Gaoyiling Scenic Area is not far from the city center, boasts beautiful scenery, and has complete supporting tourist facilities, making it a great place for taking photos. A certain level of physical fitness is required to visit, but it's not too difficult. It's important to note that when it's crowded, try not to park near the South Gate, as there's only one road in and out, and traffic congestion is severe.
All the scenic spots in Chenzhou are great, with beautiful natural scenery and delicious Hunan cuisine. The Dongjiang fish, braised chicken, and blood duck are all excellent. Thanks to A-Jie from Dongya Apartment for helping us plan our itinerary and booking discounted tickets to the scenic spots, saving us time and money. We'll definitely stay at Dongya Apartment again next time we're in Chenzhou!

Yangsu's Yulong River rafting is highly recommended. The bamboo raft drifts downstream, the river gently flowing, and the lush green mountains and waters on both sides create a picturesque scene. The more thrilling part is the dam-striking experience, where the water splashes against your face, a thrilling experience without any danger, and the raftsman's witty remarks are truly captivating.
The Yulong River and the Ten-Li Gallery are well worth a visit, with stunning views. It's a truly soothing experience. Tips: We recommend staying in a hotel or B&B near the Yulong River for convenient access. The bamboo rafting trip on the Yulong River is divided into several sections. If you're staying upstream, take a raft down, disembark at the dock, and then rent an electric bike to cruise up the Ten-Li Gallery, stopping to take photos or stroll along the river. If you're staying downstream, rent an electric bike to cruise up the Ten-Li Gallery, return it, and then take a bamboo raft down the river at the dock.

The park is quite large. If you have enough time, it is recommended that you come early in the afternoon to play the park's entertainment projects first. There are two in the Devil City😂, with food and entertainment. It is recommended to watch the performance around 16:30 and then enjoy the night view of the park. If it is a holiday, the entertainment projects may not end until 23:00 in the evening😂, so you can feel that the ticket price is very worthwhile🤩
It was a truly fascinating experience. First, the scenic area had many well-organized recreational activities, so there was no need to be idle. Second, the activities had local characteristics. Finally, the entire visit was a joy.

The following is a travel blogger-style introduction to the highlights and recommended reasons for visiting Fenghuang Ancient Town in Hunan. I hope it will help you attract more followers and likes. [Fenghuang Ancient Town, Hunan: A Timeless Treasure, a Dreamland Worth Every Traveler's Stop] When many people think of Hunan, they might first think of the grotesque peaks and rocks of Zhangjiajie or the ancient charm of Yueyang Tower. Fenghuang Ancient Town, however, offers a beautiful journey through time, allowing you to experience rich ethnic customs and historical heritage amidst its quaint streets and alleys. This ancient town in western Hunan attracts countless visitors with its unique charm. Today, let me take you deeper into the highlights of Fenghuang Ancient Town in Hunan and explain why it's worth every traveler's careful experience. 1. The Ancient Town's Historical Charm and Architectural Style Founded during the Ming and Qing dynasties, Fenghuang Ancient Town's well-preserved ancient buildings showcase the traditional architectural style of western Hunan. With its whitewashed tiles and white walls, carved wooden doors and windows, and stilt-style dwellings, it feels like a living historical scroll. Strolling through the old streets and alleys along the Tuojiang River, you can feel the tranquility and solemnity etched by time. Every stone slab and every ancient bridge here tells a story steeped in history, making it a paradise for photography enthusiasts. 2. Tuojiang River Scenery: The Tranquility and Romance of a Water Village The Tuojiang River flows through the city, its surface as calm as a mirror. The quaint stilt houses on both sides are reflected in the water, creating a stunning ink painting. A leisurely cruise on a wupeng boat is like stepping back into ancient times, experiencing the tranquility and romance. At night, the river is dotted with lights, reflecting the glittering starry sky, evoking a sense of longing. 3. A Rich Experience of Ethnic Culture Fenghuang is home to ethnic minorities such as the Miao and Tujia, and boasts a rich ethnic heritage. The streets and alleys are filled with colorful ethnic costumes, traditional handicrafts, and lively song and dance performances. The annual Miao festival and Tujia hand-waving dance are filled with excitement and joy, immersing visitors in a rich ethnic cultural atmosphere. 4. Former Residences of Historical Figures: Shen Congwen's Hometown Feelings Shen Congwen was a renowned Chinese writer, and his hometown, Fenghuang Ancient Town, has become a cultural pilgrimage site. Shen Congwen's well-preserved residence displays his manuscripts, letters, and daily necessities, taking you into the world of this literary giant. Following his footsteps, you'll gain a deeper understanding of Fenghuang's cultural heritage. 5. Unique Nightscapes and Special Cuisine Fenghuang Ancient Town at night offers a unique charm. Brightly lit streets, quaint bars, and unique food stalls create an atmosphere that blends the past and the present. We recommend tasting authentic Miao delicacies like sour soup fish, cured meat, blood-baked duck, and handmade rice noodles to delight your taste buds and experience the warmth of Xiangxi. 6. Stunning Natural Scenery and Surrounding Attractions Beyond the ancient town itself, the natural landscape surrounding Fenghuang is also worth exploring. Nanhua Mountain, Furong River, and Wulong Mountain National Forest Park are all great places to relax and connect with nature. Hiking, rafting, and waterfall viewing offer a tranquil escape from the bustling city. Why visit Fenghuang Ancient Town? Fenghuang Ancient Town is not only an ancient city, but also a cultural experience that transcends time and space.
The nightscape of Fenghuang Ancient Town is a moving dream along the Tuojiang River. The lights of the stilt houses gradually light up, like stars falling into the ancient town, reflected on the inky water, shattered into flowing gold foil by the ripples. Lanterns sway in the cobblestone alleys, stretching the shadows of tourists into slender lines, as if quietly interweaving with the passage of time a century ago. Here, bustle and tranquility coexist in a wondrous way, making it hard to tell whether the city is reflected in the water, or the water is in the sky.
