The Taizhou City Wall is located in Linhai City, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. It was first built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (402 AD), finalized in the Song Dynasty, and improved in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is about 6,000 meters long (4,730 meters remain). It is one of the most complete city walls in China. It has both military defense and flood control functions and is known as the "Badaling of Jiangnan".
