Guoxiu Langya is super good. It is recommended to buy tickets + performance tickets directly. Other good performances are basically scheduled after 6 pm (in summer). You can choose other cool places during the day. It is not recommended to stand in the sun to watch the performance during the day. 😂
The most comfortable hotel I've ever stayed in around the scenic area! Although it's close to the scenic spot, it's not noisy at all, and the double-glazed windows isolate the crowds. The parent-child room is large, with a children's tent, and the children have fun. Breakfast also has Linyi specialty fried chicken and millet soup, which tastes especially good. You can also store your luggage for free. It's so convenient to come back and check out after visiting the scenic spot!

Wang Xizhi's former residence is located at No. 21, Xiyanchi Street, Lanshan District, Linyi City, Shandong Province. It is the place where Wang Xizhi, a famous calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, was born and lived in his childhood. It is now a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national key cultural relic protection unit. The former residence is mainly composed of classical garden buildings, including Xiyanchi, Puzhao Temple, Qushui Liushang and other core landscapes, which have both calligraphy culture display and historical archaeological value.
Wang Xizhi (303-361) was born in Linyi, Langya (now Linyi City). His former residence was originally the former residence of Wang's family in Langya. After moving south with his family in 315 AD, the former residence was converted into a Buddhist temple. It was renamed many times from the Southern and Northern Dynasties to the Tang Dynasty (Lv Temple, Kaiyuan Temple, etc.), and was finally named "Puzhao Temple" during the pseudo-Qi period. Since 1989, the Linyi Municipal Government has restored and expanded Puzhao Temple as the core, forming the current 80-acre former residence scenic area.
Four major theme scenic spots:
Inkstone Pool Nostalgia: With the inkstone pool as the center, it is said that Wang Xizhi practiced calligraphy in his childhood and dyed the pool water black, which is now the iconic landscape of the former residence.
Qushui Liushang: Restore the scene of "Liushang Fushi" in "Lantingji Xu", showing the culture of literati gathering.
Sunset Shining: Restore the first of the ancient "Eight Scenic Spots of Langya", the sunset wonder of the main hall of Puzhao Temple.
Five Sages of the Ages: Enshrine historical celebrities from Linyi such as Zhuge Liang and Yan Zhenqing.
Other important attractions:
Inkstone Pool Jin Tomb: A tomb of the Wei and Jin Dynasties excavated in 2003, with more than 250 unearthed cultural relics, selected as "Top Ten Archaeological Discoveries in China".
Ji Liu Stele: The "Yizhou Puzhao Zen Temple Construction Record" was engraved in Liu Gongquan's font in the Jin Dynasty, recording the history of the former residence.
Goose Pond: In response to the story of Wang Xizhi's love for geese, the name of the pond was written by Wang Xizhi and his son Wang Xianzhi.

I recently went to the Guimeng Scenic Area in Pingyi County and was really shocked by its beauty. I must share it with you!
As soon as I entered the scenic area, the fresh air hit me, full of negative oxygen ions, and instantly washed away the fatigue of the city. This place is worthy of being a natural oxygen bar, and every breath is like a SPA for the body.
Walking along the hiking trail, the scenery along the way is beautiful. The water of Jiulongtan is clear and reflects the surrounding green mountains and trees. Occasionally, there are small fish and shrimps playing in the water, full of vitality. Lover's Valley is another quiet scene. Walking in it, listening to the gurgling stream, it seems that all the troubles have been thrown away.
Yingwo Peak is definitely a highlight of the scenic area. The mountain is as steep as a cliff, but the pine trees on the top of the peak are growing tenaciously, with different postures. From a distance, it looks like a natural bonsai. I have to sigh at the uncanny workmanship of nature. Standing on the Sage Pavilion, the hanging plaque "Donglu in sight" is very eye-catching. Thinking back to the time when Confucius also took a rest here, a sense of history arises spontaneously.
Finally, I climbed to the top of Guimeng, with an altitude of 1,156 meters, which made me feel the heroic spirit of "I will climb to the top and see all the mountains". Looking far into the distance, the continuous mountains are in full view, the vastness and magnificence are indescribable. This is also a great place to watch the sunrise and the sea of clouds. It's a pity that I didn't see it this time, but it also left a thought for the next time.
The service of the scenic spot is also very considerate, with clear signs along the way, so there is no need to worry about getting lost. There are resting places and toilets every few distances, which is very convenient. The staff are also warm and friendly, and any questions can be answered in time.

I came to the long-awaited Heavenly King City. It is located in the hinterland of Yimeng Mountain and is a paradise on earth that combines natural scenery with historical culture.
As soon as I entered the scenic area, I was shocked by the majestic Ji Wang Gou. Climbing up the winding mountain road, the ancient trees are towering and the birds are singing, as if you are in a paradise. Along the way, the exotic flowers and plants everywhere add a bit of agility to this ancient forest.
Climbing to the top of the mountain, the view is suddenly clear. A magnificent ancient city stands in front of me, as if I have traveled back to the king's city a thousand years ago. Walking in the city, the ancient buildings and mottled city walls tell the glory and vicissitudes of the past. The most amazing thing is the wonderful live performance. The actors are dressed in gorgeous ancient costumes and vividly interpret the ancient war and life scenes. The neighing of war horses and the flashing of swords make people feel as if they are in that magnificent era.
As the sky gradually darkened, I stood on the top of the mountain and looked down. The mountains were undulating and shrouded in clouds and mist, like a fairyland. The Heavenly King City not only has beautiful natural scenery, but also has a profound historical heritage, which made me linger.
I underestimated the Heavenly King City because I was in a hurry, so I only reserved half a day. The mountain road here has 18 bends and the parking lot is super large with 3,000 parking spaces. After parking, I passed a snack street with good quality and low prices (4 strings of large grilled sausages for 10 yuan) and then came to the entrance of the scenic area. I decisively chose the cable car. After the cable car arrived, there was still a section of road, so I decisively chose the magic carpet. The mountain was really high (but I still missed the equestrian show). Once I arrived at the top of the mountain, I first saw the Tianchi Lake. The artificial decoration was very beautiful and fairy-like. I checked in and took photos, and then went to see the monkey show, which was the favorite of the children, and then enjoyed the dance drama (be sure to choose the front row tea seats for 128 yuan for 4 people) to experience the feeling of time travel. It was very fun. The actors served you tea. There were also some performances in the scenic area. Due to time reasons, I could only stay once. In a word, it was worth it. The water quality is not good, so people with bad skin must be careful. I arrived at 10:30 in the morning, waited for 2 hours after getting the ticket, and played for about 1 and a half hours in total. When I came back in the evening, my arms and legs were all allergic and burning.
The rafting lasted 2 and a half hours and was very exciting, but the water was not very clean. It was really hot in the summer, but when you float, you get soaked in water and it's not so hot. Young people had a lot of fun and had water fights.
