The high-speed train from Beijing North Railway Station is very convenient! 👍🏻 It's a 5-minute walk from the train station to the entrance of the aerial cable car, which takes you directly to the 7th floor of the North Tower, and then you can walk to the 8th floor. This is the highest point, offering a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains!
Try to go at Night, buy the correct package. No night visits in the witer.

Celebrities are flocking to Universal Studios to take stunning photos in their magic robes, what are you waiting for? 🤔 It has to be said, renting a magic robe for photos really does produce amazing results. The scenery of the Harry Potter area perfectly complements the magic robes, making every shot look fantastic. Moreover, the magic robes are incredibly flattering. All our robes are authentic, with a full range of colors and sizes from all four house houses, guaranteeing quality. If you're staying at a hotel near Universal, we can even deliver them to your front desk the night before. The robes are meticulously cleaned, and the robes and accessories are beautifully packaged. You can smell the lavender laundry detergent, and you can tell they've been carefully ironed without a single wrinkle.
In summary: 1. The Speedpass is a must-buy. For rides where you've queued for over an hour, you can go immediately and always be the first one on – it feels amazing! It saves so much time, allowing you to experience all the rides and five shows in one day. The time saved from queuing allows you to stroll leisurely, taking photos and browsing the themed shops. 2. 60% of the park staff are enthusiastic and hospitable, proactively greeting visitors and answering all questions. 20% are in a chatty mode; they're not happy to bother you, but they'll still respond. The remaining 20% are either still half-asleep in the morning, haven't eaten enough at lunch, or are too tired in the evening – they're indifferent if you ask a question, and will basically roll their eyes if you ask a couple. 3. All the performers in the park are well worth their pay, giving enthusiastic performances with maximum emotional value, rehearsing and reenacting scenes repeatedly – it's a truly tiring day. 4. What I find most incomprehensible is that as a Chinese citizen, you should be able to enter the park with just a valid Chinese ID card or an internationally recognized passport. No, they only allow Chinese citizens with ID cards; Chinese passports are not accepted. They say only foreigners can use passports. Does a Chinese passport mean it's useless in China? It's a document usable in every country, but not in our own country? If it's not usable, then don't open a ticket purchase portal for Chinese citizens with passports on Ctrip. Even after opening it and buying tickets, you're not allowed in at the gate and have to get a civil aviation identity verification certificate (although there's one at a nearby service center). I don't mean to be fussy or break the rules, but I can't accept that my Chinese passport isn't usable at home; it's unsettling. 5. The restaurants inside the park weren't too expensive overall. A super-sized bucket of caramel popcorn I bought at Kung Fu Panda cost 35 yuan, which was bigger, had more sugar, and was crispier than the 48 yuan bucket I bought at Wanda Cinema, and it was 13 yuan cheaper—that was unexpected. I didn't buy any water all day; there were drinking fountains along the way, so I just opened them and drank. If you wanted something hot, you just needed a cup. In short, it was fun, exciting, physically demanding, and expensive. For me, I've experienced it all, and I won't go back.

The explanations were lively and engaging, packed with valuable information, and we gained a lot from listening. The Forbidden City is magnificent and grand, with a profound historical background and stunningly beautiful scenery. The children were highly interested throughout, fully engaged and enjoying the experience, immersing themselves in the charm of history – a fantastic experience.
It's still the same beautiful Forbidden City. The only downside is that there are too many people, which diminishes the experience. After all, places with history need to be visited in a quiet and thoughtful way.

Prince Gong's Mansion is steeped in history and anecdotes; no wonder it's said that half of the Qing Dynasty's history is contained within its walls. The scholar mentioned that Jiang Shangyi knew every detail of the mansion intimately, providing in-depth and comprehensive explanations. A particular commendable aspect was her guidance of a model exhibit, highlighting key points in a novel way. Other tour guides simply left visitors to explore on their own. Choosing the tour recommended by the scholar was definitely the right decision.
The mansion was very large and enjoyable to see. The garden with water feature was a highlight too. Some artefacts and displays were interesting to look at. Not all items were translated to English so visitors who read English only may find it less interesting aside from sight seeing. There was many tour groups there so it could be pretty crowded for indoor displays. The entrance from the subway could be confusing depending which gps app you are using. There was lots of poo smells during our visit, unsure if it was particularly bad due to weather and winds but prepare a mask if you're particularly sensitive. Some exhibits/gift shops seem to be loosely related to the theme but was ok. For the ticket price, it was a worth while half a day experience.

Marked as a World Heritage Site, Temple of Heaven is absolutely worth a visit! The largest building (Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests) is visible miles away if you are walking towards it (making it convenient - can close out of Baidu maps and just keep walking which is what we did haha!) We purchased tickets upon arrival, easy process. There were many people taking photographs but you can get good shots if you tilt your camera up or get lucky with timing. The park itself is beautiful and serene, making it a great place to relax and enjoy for 1-2 hours.
This activity is perfect for tourists who come on a last-minute trip and haven't made any reservations in advance. The tour guide's explanations were very engaging and the content was rich. It's a pity the time was a bit short, which felt like it limited their time to fully enjoy themselves. 😁

Today, let's talk about the Long Corridor in the Summer Palace, another iconic building in Beijing. Located between the southern foot of Longevity Hill and the northern bank of Kunming Lake, it was first built in 1750 during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. Destroyed by the Anglo-French allied forces in 1860, it was rebuilt in 1888. The corridor stretches from the Inviting Moon Gate in the east to the Stone Pavilion in the west, passing through the Cloud-Dispelling Gate in the middle, symbolizing the four seasons. It is 728 meters long, with 273 bays and 548 pillars. The Long Corridor is renowned for its exquisite architecture, winding paths, and richly decorated paintings, making it the longest corridor in ancient Chinese architecture and gardens. It is also a vibrant art gallery, with over 14,000 paintings adorning every beam, creating a magnificent and colorful spectacle. The paintings primarily depict landscapes, flowers and birds, and scenes from the four great classical Chinese novels. The artists have condensed thousands of years of Chinese history and culture onto this long corridor. When you arrive at this place, you can see many people taking a break, looking at the water scenery of Kunming Lake, looking directly at the island in the middle of the lake and the Seventeen-Arch Bridge, and looking up at the Tower of Buddhist Incense in the distance. This is a collection of independent landscapes. It is a typical example of Chinese culture as an "art gallery". You can never get enough of it. The whole content could be written into a good book.
The Summer Palace, nestled against Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, covers over 300 hectares, with water accounting for about three-quarters of its area. Surrounded by mountains and water, it is a royal garden renowned for its breathtaking scenery. Its pavilions, halls, corridors, bridges, and terraces each possess unique characteristics, borrowing scenery from the natural environment to elevate the Summer Palace's beauty far beyond the garden itself. In 1998, the Summer Palace became a World Heritage Site.

Worth the visit. I have always wanted to visit 7 wonders and it's finally happening. It's dream come true. Recommend to book via Trip as it's offering cheaper prices and lot of options ticket.
Возможность прикоснуться к истории, впечатляет размер и старина. Физически очень сложно посмотреть все. Мы начали с левой части, она более сложная и мне кажется, что это правильно. Для спуска воспользуйтесь тобоганом, это очень весело

Visiting the Summer Palace during peak and off-peak seasons each has its own merits. During the off-peak season, there are fewer people, but the mountain areas may be closed due to dry weather (snow scenery is highly recommended). During peak season, it's more crowded but fully open (June is recommended; it's said that the number of visitors can reach 130,000 during the summer holidays in July and August). It's advisable to book a guided tour in advance through various platforms (entrance fee not included). They know the routes and all the secrets inside and out like the back of their hand (39 yuan per person for a large group of 30 people, generally 270 yuan per person for a small group of 10). I've tried my best to recall some of the highlights our guide mentioned: 1️⃣ Generally, four-character plaques are in the handwriting of Emperor Kangxi, such as "Bishu Shanzhuang" (避暑山庄). Three-character plaques are mostly in the handwriting of Emperor Qianlong, because this intelligent emperor said that the number of characters in his inscriptions would not exceed that of his grandfather. 2️⃣ The character "避" (bi) in "Bishu Shanzhuang" has an extra horizontal stroke. There are many theories about this. Some say it's for the sake of a fuller and more aesthetically pleasing calligraphy style, while others say it's to distinguish it from the meaning of "refuge," creating an alternate form. The meaning of protection is now clear. 3️⃣ The priceless residence in the Summer Palace Museum: 48 golden nanmu pillars, mainly located in the Danbo Jingcheng Hall. If we consider golden nanmu as priceless treasures, then the Summer Palace itself is also priceless. 4️⃣ The museum contains 6 replicas, reportedly damaged during transport by staff in the early days of its construction. If not for this human error, they would all be genuine. (This reminds me of an old podcast where a museum staff member put an artifact in a cardboard box, picked it up, and the bottom punctured, shattering it. The staff member was even docked eight yuan from their bonus for damaging the artifact and remained depressed for the following year. A truly regrettable situation.) 5️⃣ The Qingyang Study next to the Misty Rain Pavilion is said to be the place where Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong interacted and exchanged ideas. 6️⃣ The plaque of the Misty Rain Pavilion was inscribed by Emperor Qianlong. This plaque is a replica. The original artifacts are on display at the Chengde Museum. 7️⃣ Yanyu Tower and Shufangzhai were filming locations for "Princess Pearl" (Aunt Qiong Yao seems to particularly like the Summer Palace; "Looking for Husband Cliff" and "Xue Ke" were also filmed here. However, it's said that regulations were later introduced prohibiting filming within the scenic area, so it seems you should do things early). Last for the best! Remember to wish yourself good luck: 1️⃣ Wash your hands with the water of the Rehe River for a year of good fortune. 2️⃣ Walk clockwise three times around the Shangdi Pavilion on Jinshan Island for blessings, wealth, and health.
I brought my parents to the Summer Palace in November, during the off-season. The cars on the mountain and the boats on the river were all stopped, but there were still fewer people and the scenery was still beautiful. The reflections in the lake were breathtaking. We listened to the tour guide talk about the history and took a leisurely tour in the sightseeing bus. The elderly were not tired at all, and everything was very good.

Although it is one of the four major pavilions and is larger than Tengwang Pavilion and Yellow Crane Tower, it is superior to the former two in terms of historical relics. However, the 100 yuan entrance fee plus the 60 yuan round-trip cable car is a bit expensive. The pavilion itself is not large, and Tianheng Mountain and the cable car are not located in the scenic area.
Penglai Pavilion is a very large scenic area with expansive sea views. Inside the park is a huge Qi Jiguang Memorial Hall (unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to explore it thoroughly). Penglai Pavilion itself is the best part; the cable car area afterwards was just so-so (it was under construction, mostly a construction site), and we didn't have enough time to visit the museum. We went during the May Day holiday, and it was extremely crowded; some seats were very cramped, and there were long queues. Overall, it was quite nice, but the scenic area is enormous, so I recommend planning ahead. Towards the end, we ran out of time and didn't even have time for lunch.

One of the most impressive aspects of POPLAND is how much it delivers for the price. Compared to traditional theme parks with expensive rides and long queues, POPLAND focuses on *immersive storytelling, visual spectacle, and collectible culture*. For fans of Pop Mart, the chance to see rare figurines, buy exclusive blind boxes, and interact with characters is priceless.
We absolutely loved our visit to Popmart Land in Beijing! The whole place was vibrant, quirky and full of creative photo spots. One of the highlights was definitely getting to take a picture with a life-sized Dimoo — super cute and such a fun surprise. If you enjoy playful popmart spaces and colourful installations, this place is really worth a visit. We had a great time exploring and soaking in the lively atmosphere!
