Traveling to Australia, this stop came to Hobart, the capital of Tasmania. Mount Field National Park is a nature reserve in Tasmania, Australia. It is the oldest national park in Tasmania. It is located 64 kilometers northwest of Hobart. Its highest point is Mount Field, which is 1,434 meters above sea level. This national park is a temperate rainforest area. Mount Field National Park can see various rare and exotic plants, among which Russell Falls and Horseshoe Falls are the most famous. On the way, there are tall rainforest areas, etc. It is a good place for hiking, picnics, skiing and bird watching. Hiking is the most common way of sightseeing. Starting from the tourist service center, it takes about 10 minutes to walk to Russell Falls and watch the beautiful scenery of the waterfall cascading down the mountain in several layers. The trees in the park are towering, some of which are more than 400 meters high. On the way, you can also observe Tasmania's unique forest area. There is a map of the entire national park at the entrance of the service center. You can choose the hiking time and route according to your own conditions. Starting from the driveway leading to Lake Dobson, there are 13 hiking areas in total. There are mountain huts in the park for accommodation. Field National Park has a variety of glacial landforms that show the geological relationship between the island and Antarctica. The plants here include huge swamp eucalyptus, eucalyptus, myrtle, sassafras, King Billy pine and the only deciduous beech in Australia. I came here in winter. When I arrived at the entrance of the park, I could feel that the temperature was several degrees lower than that in the city. When you walk into the woods, the temperature will feel colder as you walk deeper, and the ground is full of mud, and dew drips from time to time.
The pristine forest of Tasmania, Australia, is a national park with a very pristine environment! The trees are tall, the lakes are clear, and the rainforest is lush. It is really worth a walk to feel the magic of nature!
