The scenery is undeniably beautiful, especially in autumn – it's absolutely stunning. However, you need to choose your route carefully. The park shuttle is convenient, and there's accommodation on the mountain. If you're not in a rush, it's best to spend two days there.
Arxan in autumn is absolutely gorgeous! A word of warning: if you're short on time, definitely avoid the Heavenly Lake and Earthly Lake route. Heavenly Lake has many stairs, which can be tiring, and the viewing platform isn't very high, so you can't see the beautiful colors from above; it just looks like an ordinary pond. Plus, it's incredibly crowded. The same goes for Earthly Lake. I highly recommend visiting Camel Ridge Heavenly Lake and Rhododendron Lake instead. They're truly stunning, spacious, and not crowded at all. Skipping them would be a waste of your ticket price. You can choose to visit other places depending on your time. I'll save the photos of Earthly Lake and Heavenly Lake for last! My autumn trip lasted a month, experiencing Xinjiang, the Greater Khingan Mountains, and Western Sichuan. It's clear that the best autumn scenery is found in Xinjiang and Northeast China. The golden leaves are shimmering and sparkling. The colorful leaves in Western Sichuan are filtered and appear duller in reality. For autumn scenery, Xinjiang and Northeast China are the top choices!

As a national 5A-level tourist attraction, the Manzhouli National Gate Scenic Area boasts numerous highlights, but also areas for improvement. Here are some genuine reviews: - Positive Reviews: The scenic area boasts a rich historical and cultural atmosphere, allowing visitors to instill a sense of national pride. The Fifth-Generation National Gate stands majestically, with the seven large characters "People's Republic of China" prominently displayed. From the observation deck, visitors can gaze out over the Russian town of Zabaikalsk and admire the exotic scenery. Within the scenic area, attractions such as Boundary Marker No. 41, the former site of the Manzhouli Red Secret Transportation Line, and the Exhibition Hall of the Sixth National Congress of the Communist Party of China showcase a wealth of historical relics and photographs, offering visitors a direct understanding of the development of this border city. Furthermore, the scenic area's magnificent architecture is perfect for photo opportunities, with the red carpet at the National Gate and in front of the boundary markers being popular photo spots. - Negative Reviews: Some visitors find the entrance fee high, and the added costs of additional items like the observation deck, audio guides, and sightseeing buses. Food and beverages within the scenic area are also relatively expensive, with a serving of fried rice costing around 25 yuan and a drink around 10 yuan. Furthermore, during peak season, the scenic area is overcrowded, with long queues for photos and a poor user experience. Furthermore, most of the scenic area is open-air and lacks sun protection, making it easy for tourists to get sunburned during the summer.
The Manzhouli National Gate Scenic Area is a landmark attraction in Manzhouli. Highlights: The National Gate is a magnificent structure, a key landmark of the Sino-Russian border. From the observation deck, you can overlook the Russian town, experiencing the wondrous sensation of gazing at Russia and Mongolia at a glance, and hearing the crows of roosters echoing across the Three Kingdoms. Boundary Marker No. 41 within the scenic area is steeped in history, and the steam locomotives at the Locomotive Square are also quite distinctive. The Red Exhibition Hall and the Exhibition Hall of the Sixth National Congress of the Communist Party of China offer excellent opportunities for learning about history and culture. For those who enjoy photography and experiencing the charm of the frontier, this is a great spot to check in. The National Gate is particularly beautiful at dusk, illuminated by the setting sun. Disadvantages: Some visitors find the entrance fee high and lacking value for money. The interior is relatively simple, lacking interactive activities, and is primarily focused on photo opportunities and short durations. This may be disappointing for those seeking a rich and immersive experience. During peak periods, such as holidays, the scenic area is crowded, and queues are required for taking photos, which can reduce the overall experience. In addition, the supporting facilities around the scenic area need to be improved, the food and beverage prices are expensive and the choices are limited. In terms of transportation, it is a certain distance away from the city, the taxi fare is high, and public transportation is not very convenient.

Very worth going. Every year 6-8 month is the best travel time, architectural aesthetics and exotic customs, unique border scenery and rich cultural connotation combine, bring new experiences and happiness to tourists
The whole walk is still quite leg-consuming. I look at the three countries at a glance. The left is Mongolia and the right is Russia. The door is very spectacular. It is the fifth generation of the door. Standing here, my heart can't be proud of the colorful Matryoshka Square. I walk and watch, I don't feel tired, I just feel that my eyes are not enough. Color application is too bold, too dazzling, Manzhouli, full of vitality, worth walking!

The first bend of water seemed to cascade down from the horizon, like silver ribbons drifting across the boundless golden grass carpet of Hulunbuir. Cattle and horses scattered along the riverbank, their heads bowed, savoring the autumn light. Time seemed stretched by the winding river, leaving only this tranquility flowing leisurely between heaven and earth. The so-called poetry and distant horizons are simply witnessing how a river transforms loneliness into scenery, quietly telling the story of the grassland to the sky. Standing in the heart of Hulunbuir, I truly understood the prairie. The horizon stretched endlessly as far as the eye could see, leaving only the traces of the wind and the rolling breath of the grass. The distant mountains became a faint shadow, and the low-hanging clouds seemed within reach. Just a small question: Why are the windows on the sightseeing buses tinted? 🫢
Our first stop was the Morigele River. From the observation deck, the winding river looked like a giant dragon entwined in the wilderness. Set against the backdrop of the grassland, the azure water shone like a sapphire, a true masterpiece of nature. Having seen the grandeur of Kanas and the purity of Yamdrok Lake, the Morigele River presented a different kind of exquisite and harmonious beauty. Though the journey was over, the experience lingered on.

Ergun Wetland is a captivating natural paradise. Strolling through it feels like stepping into a vast ecological painting. The wetland's scenery changes with the seasons: spring brings a riot of flowers, summer offers lush greenery, autumn paints the forests in vibrant colors, and winter blankets the land in snow. Here, you can observe various rare birds up close, such as red-crowned cranes and swans, frolicking on the lake or soaring through the air, creating a harmonious and symbiotic scene. Wooden boardwalks are available within the wetland park; walking along them allows you to appreciate the magnificent scenery and experience the tranquility and peace of nature. However, mosquitoes are plentiful, so visitors are advised to take precautions. Overall, Ergun Wetland is an excellent destination that combines natural beauty, ecological protection, and leisure tourism, making it a place you'll want to return to again and again. Ergun Wetland is a gift from nature; being there feels like entering a vibrant, colorful dream. In spring, as the snow melts and nature awakens, the wetlands burst into vibrant life. Summer brings lush green grass and blooming flowers, making it an ideal retreat from the heat. Autumn paints the forests in vibrant colors, a tapestry of gold and fiery red, like a natural oil painting. Winter blankets the land in snow, a pristine white landscape, offering a unique northern charm. This is not only a paradise for birds but also for photographers, as rare birds like red-crowned cranes and swans soar freely, adding immeasurable vitality to the wetlands. Wooden boardwalks traverse the wetlands, allowing visitors to connect with nature without disturbing the ecosystem. However, be aware that mosquitoes are plentiful, so take precautions. Ergun Wetland, an unforgettable ecological haven, a journey for the soul to connect with nature.
The entrance fee and the sightseeing bus are a bit pricey. Actually, the bus is unnecessary, as the distance isn't very long. However, the bus and pedestrian routes overlap, so it might be inconvenient to skip the bus. This wetland is located in the city center and is smaller than the national wetland. The views are similar, but this one is mainly for bird's-eye views.

It's not far from the city. After entering the scenic area, take the scenic shuttle bus to the entrance of the birch forest. Then, walk along the scenic area all the way to the top of the mountain. There's a single road along the way. There are some attractions along the way, and there's a reindeer feeding station along the way. This costs money, but it's quite interesting. Reindeer are rare in the south. It's another 20-minute climb to the top. The scenery at the top is actually average. Two hours is enough to explore the entire area. This scenic area has average scenery, but it won't waste your time or trick you into anything. I think it's worth a visit.
You can take a sightseeing bus to the innermost part of the scenic area and then slowly explore it. At the end, you can climb to the top of a small hill for 20 minutes to look into the distance, and then take the bus back to the entrance. The tour is completed in half an hour.

When you come to Manchuria, you must visit the Matryoshka Scenic Area. The ticket price is 248. I originally thought that the performances would be charged separately after entering, but it turned out that the performances and amusement facilities were all included in the ticket. The most exciting ones are the ice dance show and the big circus. After watching these two shows, the ticket price has been recovered.
A very satisfying trip, very cost-effective. This is the happiest place in Hulunbuir. My children were also very happy, especially watching the 6D movie. Although you need to queue, fortunately the weather in Manzhouli is very cool. It is worth praising that it rained in the afternoon. The ice dance show was supposed to open 40 minutes earlier, but the staff let us go in early to avoid the rain. The experience was very good. I thought it would rain so I couldn't watch the fountain show in the evening. Fortunately, there was no rain at night. The fountain show is also worth watching. The attitude of the staff is also very good. Thumbs up

It's really fun. They'll take you for a short ride, which is great if you're a bit more adventurous. The price is reasonable, and it's much better than the roadside trails. The scenery down to the top of the mountain is also beautiful, with the colorful wetlands breathtaking. If you're looking to ride horses, this is the place to go.
The instructor was very responsible and the communication was smooth. After contacting him, we added WeChat to redeem the coupon. We went to pick up the equipment and set off in the evening. There were about 20-30 people... After returning, we were divided into fast and slow riding teams, which we could choose. The service was regular and the fees were reasonable. I sold photos and videos for 30 yuan each, and everyone bought them.

The scenery of Jiuquwan truly lives up to its reputation! From the observation deck, the winding river draws an elegant curve across the boundless grassland, like a turquoise ribbon flowing between heaven and earth. The most surprising thing is that this place retains its pristine natural beauty, without any signs of overdevelopment.
Only after visiting Ulagai can you truly experience the grasslands of the horizon! The blue sky, white clouds, and green grass stretch as far as the eye can see, stretching all the way to the horizon! Herds of cattle and sheep are leisurely and free! My mood suddenly brightens.

During the National Day holiday in 2024, I went to Arxan in Daxing'anling, Inner Mongolia to enjoy the autumn. The Arxan Port, which borders Outer Mongolia, is also one of the attractions to visit. Just across the line is the former Chinese homeland, and I can't help but feel infinite emotion. The Chinese people must continue to work hard to ensure that the historical shame of the victorious country in World War II becoming the only country to lose nearly 1.6 million square kilometers of territory will never happen again!
It is a very worthwhile place to visit. Three days before the National Day, I took my two-year-old son to experience the greatness of the motherland! Standing in front of the national gate, looking up at the five-star red flag fluttering in the wind, a sense of pride arises in my heart. No matter where we are, we have a great motherland!
