Visiting the Great Wall in November is great; it's 5-6 degrees Celsius cooler than in the city, which is nice. Buying tickets through Ctrip is also very convenient. I bought cable car tickets for my elderly family members, and they climbed the wall themselves. The only downside was the long wait for the cable car. After getting off the shuttle bus and separating, we younger folks climbed to the North Eighth Tower and had just exited the cable car station. But we still had a great time at the Great Wall. We went from the entrance to the North Eighth Tower, then back up to the South Fifth Tower before exiting. It was a wonderful experience.
Definitely not as spectacular or pretty as I thought it would be. But definitely one that needs to be done and ticked off. We got the cable car up and walked 8 down to 4 and then got the toboggan down. The cable car up was about 3 mins quite pricey ¥100 each and same price and time for the toboggan down. The wall walking wasn’t to bad a bit slippery and steep in places. Plenty of souvenirs to buy and food stalls. Do not go when it’s hot.

Xiucai said that Xiao Zhou's tour guide explanation was excellent. His narration allowed us to truly experience the Forbidden City perfectly. Xiucai highly recommends Xiao Zhou's tour and service.
Xiucai said that Teacher Zhou 1 explained a lot of content. Although I was late due to my own reasons, I finally found Teacher Zhou and followed the whole section on the imperial harem. I truly experienced the luxury of the royal emperor and empress's life. I highly recommend Teacher Zhou's explanation and service at Xiucai.

If I had to choose Universal Studios Singapore, I'd choose to come to China's Universal Studios this time! It's absolutely huge! I loved the Harry Potter area! Took tons of photos! Super photogenic! I really want to come back again sometime!
I managed to do all the rides in one day, on a Monday, but the average wait time for each popular ride was an hour. If you can handle the wait, then it's fine.

Buying tickets for Prince Gong's Mansion on Ctrip is very convenient. You can then pick up a paper ticket at the window using your ID number. Prince Gong's Mansion is quite nice and worth a visit. It was also one of the filming locations for the TV series "My Fair Princess".
This was my second visit. Prince Gong's Mansion is even more charming in autumn. A gentle autumn breeze, colorful fallen leaves, and beautiful blue skies with white clouds—the guided tours were very interesting, and the historical information was fascinating. It's also a great place for taking photos; you can even try on princess costumes for a photoshoot. It was quite crowded. I touched the "Fu" (福, meaning good fortune) character written by Emperor Kangxi; it was a very creative design.

1. Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests Highlights: The iconic building of the Temple of Heaven, the site of imperial sacrifices during the Ming Dynasty. A three-story circular hall with blue tiles and a golden roof, its 28 golden pillars symbolize the four seasons, months, and hours. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests closes at 6 PM and can only be viewed from outside the palace walls. The red wall behind the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests (vermilion door frame paired with a blue roof) Fun Fact: The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests has no horizontal beams; it is entirely supported by mortise and tenon joints, showcasing the wisdom of ancient architecture. 2. Echo Wall and Imperial Vault of Heaven Echo Wall: The wall has a regular curve and a smooth surface. Two people whispering against the wall could transmit their voices (now fenced off, conversations at ground markers still work). Three-Echo Stone: Speaking while standing on the stone slabs in front of the hall will produce 1-3 echoes, experiencing the wonder of acoustics. How to Play: Stand at opposite ends of the wall with a companion to test the sound transmission effect, or count the fan-shaped stone slabs on the altar surface (all are multiples of 9, subtly alluding to the "supreme ruler"). 3. Circular Mound Altar Highlight: The core site of the emperor's sacrificial ceremony to Heaven. The central stone, where a shout is made, produces an extremely loud echo (anciently known as the "Sound Connecting Heaven"). Hidden Activity: At noon on the winter solstice, the sunlight precisely penetrates all the railings, showcasing ancient astronomical wisdom. 4. Danbi Bridge Highlight: The "Sea-Paved Avenue" connecting the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Circular Mound Altar, 360 meters long and 30 meters wide, symbolizing "heaven is high and earth is low." 5. Fasting Palace and Divine Music Bureau Fasting Palace: The "mini Forbidden City" where the emperor resided before sacrificial rites. With red walls and green pines and cypresses, it is free to enter and offers beautiful scenery with few crowds. Divine Music Bureau: The ancient venue for rehearsing sacrificial music, offering insights into ancient musical culture.
【Ancient Trees of the Temple of Heaven🌲】The Temple of Heaven is most famous for its ancient trees; these ancient trees are the soul of the entire garden! The most beautiful ancient tree, the "Nine Dragon Cypress," is 620 years old. There's a specific way to plant these ancient trees: the neatly arranged "ceremonial trees" on the inner side of the garden resemble a ceremonial guard, while the "sea trees" on the outer side are like ancient jade ornaments used to pay homage to heaven. These ancient trees witnessed the fall of the Ming Dynasty and the collapse of the Qing Dynasty… In the eyes of these ancient trees, we humans may seem like ants or fireworks. Ah, in the end, it's all about who lives the longest!

- The scenery is absolutely stunning: the shimmering waves of Kunming Lake paired with the pavilions of Longevity Hill, especially the Seventeen-Arch Bridge, is breathtakingly beautiful at sunset when the golden light shines through the arches. Every shot is a masterpiece of ancient Chinese style. 📸 - A tip for exploring: It's recommended to enter from the East Palace Gate (closer to the main attractions). Don't try to see everything at once! Focus on the Long Corridor, the Tower of Buddhist Incense, and the Marble Boat area, otherwise your legs will "protest." - A small reminder: It gets really crowded on weekends. If you want to take some quiet photos, either go early or walk towards the West Causeway for a different kind of tranquil lake view. - Summary: The grandeur of a royal garden combined with the delicacy of a Jiangnan garden makes even a casual stroll and a gentle breeze a truly relaxing experience. It's a must-see "healing" attraction in Beijing!
Today, let's talk about the Long Corridor in the Summer Palace, another iconic building in Beijing. Located between the southern foot of Longevity Hill and the northern bank of Kunming Lake, it was first built in 1750 during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. Destroyed by the Anglo-French allied forces in 1860, it was rebuilt in 1888. The corridor stretches from the Inviting Moon Gate in the east to the Stone Pavilion in the west, passing through the Cloud-Dispelling Gate in the middle, symbolizing the four seasons. It is 728 meters long, with 273 bays and 548 pillars. The Long Corridor is renowned for its exquisite architecture, winding paths, and richly decorated paintings, making it the longest corridor in ancient Chinese architecture and gardens. It is also a vibrant art gallery, with over 14,000 paintings adorning every beam, creating a magnificent and colorful spectacle. The paintings primarily depict landscapes, flowers and birds, and scenes from the four great classical Chinese novels. The artists have condensed thousands of years of Chinese history and culture onto this long corridor. When you arrive at this place, you can see many people taking a break, looking at the water scenery of Kunming Lake, looking directly at the island in the middle of the lake and the Seventeen-Arch Bridge, and looking up at the Tower of Buddhist Incense in the distance. This is a collection of independent landscapes. It is a typical example of Chinese culture as an "art gallery". You can never get enough of it. The whole content could be written into a good book.

The experience was good; it wasn't too crowded, but there were a lot of foreigners, and the vendors all spoke fluent English. The scenery was beautiful. Climbing to the top requires some physical exertion. It felt very refreshing afterward.
Worth the visit. I have always wanted to visit 7 wonders and it's finally happening. It's dream come true. Recommend to book via Trip as it's offering cheaper prices and lot of options ticket.

Visiting the Summer Palace during peak and off-peak seasons each has its own merits. During the off-peak season, there are fewer people, but the mountain areas may be closed due to dry weather (snow scenery is highly recommended). During peak season, it's more crowded but fully open (June is recommended; it's said that the number of visitors can reach 130,000 during the summer holidays in July and August). It's advisable to book a guided tour in advance through various platforms (entrance fee not included). They know the routes and all the secrets inside and out like the back of their hand (39 yuan per person for a large group of 30 people, generally 270 yuan per person for a small group of 10). I've tried my best to recall some of the highlights our guide mentioned: 1️⃣ Generally, four-character plaques are in the handwriting of Emperor Kangxi, such as "Bishu Shanzhuang" (避暑山庄). Three-character plaques are mostly in the handwriting of Emperor Qianlong, because this intelligent emperor said that the number of characters in his inscriptions would not exceed that of his grandfather. 2️⃣ The character "避" (bi) in "Bishu Shanzhuang" has an extra horizontal stroke. There are many theories about this. Some say it's for the sake of a fuller and more aesthetically pleasing calligraphy style, while others say it's to distinguish it from the meaning of "refuge," creating an alternate form. The meaning of protection is now clear. 3️⃣ The priceless residence in the Summer Palace Museum: 48 golden nanmu pillars, mainly located in the Danbo Jingcheng Hall. If we consider golden nanmu as priceless treasures, then the Summer Palace itself is also priceless. 4️⃣ The museum contains 6 replicas, reportedly damaged during transport by staff in the early days of its construction. If not for this human error, they would all be genuine. (This reminds me of an old podcast where a museum staff member put an artifact in a cardboard box, picked it up, and the bottom punctured, shattering it. The staff member was even docked eight yuan from their bonus for damaging the artifact and remained depressed for the following year. A truly regrettable situation.) 5️⃣ The Qingyang Study next to the Misty Rain Pavilion is said to be the place where Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong interacted and exchanged ideas. 6️⃣ The plaque of the Misty Rain Pavilion was inscribed by Emperor Qianlong. This plaque is a replica. The original artifacts are on display at the Chengde Museum. 7️⃣ Yanyu Tower and Shufangzhai were filming locations for "Princess Pearl" (Aunt Qiong Yao seems to particularly like the Summer Palace; "Looking for Husband Cliff" and "Xue Ke" were also filmed here. However, it's said that regulations were later introduced prohibiting filming within the scenic area, so it seems you should do things early). Last for the best! Remember to wish yourself good luck: 1️⃣ Wash your hands with the water of the Rehe River for a year of good fortune. 2️⃣ Walk clockwise three times around the Shangdi Pavilion on Jinshan Island for blessings, wealth, and health.
I brought my parents to the Summer Palace in November, during the off-season. The cars on the mountain and the boats on the river were all stopped, but there were still fewer people and the scenery was still beautiful. The reflections in the lake were breathtaking. We listened to the tour guide talk about the history and took a leisurely tour in the sightseeing bus. The elderly were not tired at all, and everything was very good.

Ticket was much cheaper than normal but after that I realised that the entire laububu section was closed for renovation. Not exactly a very big theme park but good for pop mart fans.
One of the most impressive aspects of POPLAND is how much it delivers for the price. Compared to traditional theme parks with expensive rides and long queues, POPLAND focuses on *immersive storytelling, visual spectacle, and collectible culture*. For fans of Pop Mart, the chance to see rare figurines, buy exclusive blind boxes, and interact with characters is priceless.

Chaoyang Park in Beijing is located on the North Fourth Ring Road in East China. It's a large park built on a puddle of land. Chaoyang Park is quite extensive and features a large lake. Chaoyang Park frequently hosts various events, and the surrounding area boasts comprehensive facilities. To the west of the park is the Blue Harbor commercial street, which is very lively in the evenings. This park is especially suitable for families with children; many parents bring their kids to Chaoyang Park to relax on weekends.
Near the "Source of Life" attraction in Chaoyang Park, two crowned willow trees stand tall on a spacious green lawn. Their crowns are full and rounded. Greenery, trees, and blue sky—three layers stacked together—compose a delightful early autumn scene. Beneath the tree is a bench. Sit there for a while, or walk past. It feels like a scene from a movie. Baoer, have you been feeling low on energy lately? Let's experience the energy field of the Chaoyang Park sacred tree.
