In July, I visited Qinghai Lake again. Located in Qinghai Province, China, it is the largest inland salt water lake in China, covering an area of about 4,583 square kilometers and an altitude of 3,200 meters. The lake is clear and blue, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, grasslands and rapeseed fields, with magnificent scenery. This is an important habitat for migratory birds, known as the "Pearl of the Plateau". Qinghai Lake is also a holy lake for Tibetan people, with important religious and cultural significance. Every summer, the lake-round bicycle race attracts many tourists and becomes a famous tourist attraction.
