On an autumn weekend, West Lake is like an overturned palette of colors, revealing the gentlest side of Jiangnan. Compared to the hustle and bustle of midsummer, the lake and mountains at this time possess a greater sense of tranquility and depth, worthy of slow appreciation. If you want to avoid the crowds, the western route of West Lake is an excellent choice. Yanggong Causeway is most pleasant in the early morning; the sycamore leaves turn yellow and fall, rustling underfoot, while the dawn redwoods on both sides gradually turn red, their reflections on the lake creating a misty, oil painting-like scene. Turning into the secluded Turtle Pool, the tallow tree leaves are even more vibrant than the red maples, egrets skim the water, and the sound of reed flutes adds to the serene beauty. The autumn colors at Flower Harbor Park are incredibly layered: sycamores at the top, red maples in the middle, and red berries of nandina at the bottom, all arranged in a staggered pattern. From the lakeside promenade, you can frame the scene of Leifeng Pagoda and the boats dancing together, while the fragrance of osmanthus wafts through the air, refreshing and delightful. In the afternoon, a visit to Yuhu Bay reveals a mirror-like surface, reflecting the colorful forests and pavilions, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a Monet painting. Even the taste buds are imbued with autumn's charm. Lou Wai Lou's sweet lotus root with osmanthus blossoms is soft, chewy, and fragrant; street vendors offer roasted sweet potatoes with ginger tea to warm your hands and heart; and buying a jar of osmanthus honey allows you to bring the sweetness of West Lake home. The only downside is the crowds at popular weekend spots; early arrivals are recommended to catch the first rays of sunlight. But when the autumn sun filters through the maple leaves and falls on your shoulders, and the fragrance of osmanthus drifts across the lake on the evening breeze, you'll understand why it's said, "Paradise on earth is nothing more than an autumn scene at West Lake."
West Lake, the heart of Hangzhou, is like a dignified young woman, gracefully displaying her beauty. She possesses not only captivating beauty but also a rich history. Like an elder weathered by time, West Lake always attracts countless visitors with its unique charm. Whether it's the willow branches gently swaying by the lake or the snow-covered Broken Bridge, it evokes a sense of longing, as if stepping into a flowing painting.

The beauty of Huangshan possesses a magical power that makes one forget fatigue. With its purest and most magnificent natural force, it delivers a dual impact on both the eyes and the soul. It's not just a trip, but a pilgrimage, the ultimate interpretation of Chinese landscape aesthetics. This was my third time climbing Huangshan, this time accompanying my wife and mother-in-law. The previous two times, Lotus Peak was open; this time, Heavenly Capital Peak was open. The first day I spent with my wife and mother-in-law, and the second morning I climbed Heavenly Capital Peak myself, starting from the old path and ending at the new path. My body was tired, but my heart was filled with joy.

The scenery is beautiful and pleasant, attracting throngs of tourists. Suzhou is a tourist hotspot year-round, bustling with activity everywhere. It's also very close to other attractions, with convenient transportation and plenty of suitable accommodations and restaurants. Recommended.
Not as busy as the Yu gardens in Shanghai, and a lot more peaceful and open. We all loved it here.

Recommended Best Local Tour: From the East Gate, take the shuttle bus up the mountain directly to the Buddha Palace (10 RMB per person). Visit the Buddha Palace, Buddha Pagoda, and Zen Culture Park. Walk down the mountain from the back gate of the Zen Culture Park, passing the grottoes, the Yue Fei vs. Jin Wuzhu site, and the Buddha Temple. Enjoy the fresh mountain air before returning to the East Gate. Reason for this route: The main scenic area is the Buddha Palace area, often described as a "big durian" (a type of rock formation). Many people are exhausted before even reaching the main area and miss the most important parts. The attractions along the walking route are very small and can be visited along the way. The entire trip will take four to five hours if you're not in a rush. If you're in a hurry, we recommend taking the bus directly to the Buddha Palace. After visiting the palace and pagoda, take the bus down the mountain, which should take 2-3 hours. There is a large parking lot at the East Gate, both above and below ground. Underground parking is available from 10 AM to just before 3 PM for 18 RMB.
It's very ornate, and the building materials seem expensive, but there aren't many places to visit; many areas are closed. Even if you pay 150 yuan, you don't feel like you see much. The performances are just average; the scenery is gorgeous, but the dancers don't seem to be putting on a very energetic show.

It's a place worth visiting, with a picturesque and poetic atmosphere. More than 10 years ago, I watched a live performance of Suzhou opera at the head of the 24th Bridge (it was free!), which left a deep impression on me. Now, there are too many people, and it no longer has that sense of tranquility. There are also many shops selling souvenirs and snacks.
The weather was nice, and there were quite a few tourists, making it a good place to stroll around and explore. The air was fresh, and the signs were clear. The restrooms in the south gate corridor were very clean, and a thoughtful touch was that they even had warm water for handwashing – a big plus!

Hongcun is beautiful, but it also has some shortcomings. For example, the commercial atmosphere in the scenic area is quite strong, with shops and stalls everywhere, which to some extent affects the rustic atmosphere of the ancient village.
Only by actually visiting can one feel the astonishment of seeing such an ancient and well-preserved village after traversing countless mountains. Only then can one understand how arduous the journey was for the ancients to study and obtain official titles.

Early November at Songcheng was so much fun! The "Magic Night" event featured a multitude of handsome NPCs—so good-looking they were dazzling! They were also much more friendly and approachable than NPCs at typical amusement parks, without any airs of stardom. Songcheng truly lives up to its reputation as China's leading entertainment company. Hangzhou is indeed a land of outstanding people and beautiful scenery; there were handsome men everywhere, all around 185cm tall. On the day of the event, Master Kumārajīva, also known as Li Guolin, was performing, happily interacting with visitors. There were also formal performances, blending music, dance, and acrobatics to showcase Hangzhou's civilization and the beautiful lives of contemporary people. The entire Songcheng experience was joyful and delightful, avoiding any preachy or didactic elements, and radiating warmth and friendliness.
It's a very worthwhile place to visit; both the shows and the attractions are unforgettable. We arrived too late, around 2 PM, and had to rush in to see some attractions just before closing time, so we didn't get to interact with all the NPCs. However, because it was late, we could see a unique night view. We'll definitely come back next time we have the chance.

This place gets quite crowded on weekends. A shuttle bus takes visitors to the mountain's main street. As one of the four major Buddhist holy sites, it boasts numerous temples and several national key cultural relics sites. The incense is very strong, making it worth a visit.
We only visited the front of the mountain and covered the main attractions to fulfill our prayer requirements. Time was limited; we'll stay longer next time we make a vow. We visited the Hall of the Corpse's Body, Huacheng Temple, and the Hundred-Year Palace.

Wuzhen, an ancient water town located in northern Zhejiang Province, boasts a history spanning over a thousand years. It is not only picturesque with distinct seasons, but also rich in cultural heritage. With its unique water town scenery and rustic architectural style, Wuzhen attracts countless tourists for sightseeing and vacation. Here, you can take a small boat and cruise along the waterways, admiring the ancient buildings and beautiful natural scenery on both banks, and experiencing the tranquility and harmony of this ancient town.
Wuzhen is definitely worth a visit; to truly experience the Jiangnan region, you have to go to an ancient town. This time I went to join the theater festival, and on the last day, it wasn't too crowded. However, it was still more interesting than usual, with many shows to watch and more interactive activities.

On Sundays, the park is open from north to south. Following the route shown in the image, I walked the entire way and spent 6 hours there. Upon entering, I first visited the African section. It was so crowded that I missed seeing many animals. After finishing that section, I saw a long queue forming at the entrance to the African section. The North Zoo was less crowded, but some glass windows were still packed with people, so I had to walk around to see what was there. Hongshan Zoo is full of details and definitely worth a visit.
Hongshan Zoo was really crowded, but the overall experience was good. The zoo is large and has a wide variety of animals, especially the pandas, monkeys, and giraffes, which are very popular. The staff were well-organized and the zoo was kept clean. I recommend going early to avoid peak hours, as this will make seeing the animals much easier.
