Our guide, Elephant Travel, said Xiao Jiang was absolutely amazing! We booked a 2.5-hour tour, but the actual tour lasted nearly 3 hours. 👍 Longmen Grottoes is even more impressive, memorable, and brilliant because of Xiao Jiang's explanations!
First, let's talk about the scenery. I've been to Mogao Grottoes and Longgang Grottoes before, but the Buddha statues at Longmen Grottoes are more royal and political. Each statue carries a moving story from thousands of years ago, and each stolen Buddha head speaks silently of the nation's suffering. After walking nearly a kilometer and climbing 98 steps, I looked up and saw the enormous Vairocana Buddha. The awe I felt was beyond words. Under the light, I recalled that Li Bai, Du Fu, Bai Juyi, and others had once gazed at this same Buddha, and my blood surged. This is more than just a sight; it's a memory shared by every Chinese person.
And finally, Xiao Jiang, the tour guide, is the best and most responsible guide I've encountered in recent years. Perhaps it's because of his passion for Longmen Grottoes that I can sense his dedication to showcasing every aspect of its splendor and richness. My iPad was like a treasure trove, adding countless details to the overall explanation. His voice, sometimes high-pitched and sometimes low, combined grand narratives with gentle riffs on the small inscriptions on the door lintel. Most importantly, he was incredibly photo-savvy, capturing many perfect photos for us. A huge thank you to Xiao Jiang for creating such wonderful memories for our Luoyang trip!
I have to praise Mr. Jiang from Elephant Travel. His explanation was clear, easy to understand, and full of details. Everyone on the tour understood it and remembered it vividly. It was really good and highly recommended. 👍👍👍

The West Peak Cableway is worth the money. Entering and exiting from the west reduces the difficulty of climbing. It takes 4 hours to hike and it is very easy to complete the four peaks of southwest, east and middle. It rained the day before, and there happened to be a sea of clouds when climbing. It was beautiful.

The night is absolutely stunning! Qingming Shanghe Park at night is a must-see. It's truly breathtaking. The scenery is truly breathtaking and exquisite. It's like the heyday of the Song Dynasty. Everywhere is filled with singing and dancing. It's truly beautiful!

It's quite close to the Qingming Riverside Park, just a seven or eight-minute walk. I took my kids there for two days, and it was very convenient for both morning and evening visits. The B&B community is a cluster of villas and B&Bs, and the environment is nice. The family room we stayed in was clean and tidy, just as described in the photos. It's run by a young team, and the service is excellent. My kids love their braised noodles for breakfast.

I was blown away by the scenery of Laojun Mountain. It's a place I'd love to visit again. My only regret was that I didn't get any beer. I drove into the scenic area and only realized after exiting that the beer pick-up area was outside the scenic area gate.
The hotel's location is unparalleled, and the facilities are excellent, making a trip to Laojun Mountain a time-saving and effortless experience. However, given the price, the service could be improved. The breakfast is simple, understandably, given the expense of transporting supplies up the mountain, but the service certainly makes up for it. The simple fare, presented on a gridded plate, is both economical and exquisite. A more detailed guide would be helpful, as this area is unfamiliar to outsiders. Even a guide would be helpful to compensate for the unclear directions on the Golden Summit.

I stayed in Linfen and the navigation was wrong. I came to Hukou Waterfall on the Shaanxi side and felt a little dizzy. The scenic area is good overall. The car was parked at the visitor center and the bus was taken to the waterfall. The Shaanxi side is basically parallel to the waterfall and slightly downward.
Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River is a Chinese wonder worth a once-in-a-lifetime visit. It's recommended to view it from either Shaanxi or Shanxi Province. From the Shaanxi side, traditional buildings are dotted with scattered red flags. Shaanxi offers magnificent views of Hukou, with its cascading rock formations along the shore. Stand by the river and marvel at the cascading, geometric structure of the waterfall.

The Wudang Mountains were filled with fairy air during the rain. It was raining at the foot of the mountain. When we took the cable car to the Golden Summit, the sky cleared up, so we decided to walk from the Golden Summit to the Nanyan along the Mingshen Road, a 4.5-kilometer downhill road that took us three and a half hours. My calves and thighs were sore the next day.
I finally reached the Golden Summit of Wudang Mountain today! We took the cable car up, but chose to walk down to see more of the sights. My calves are still shaking; I'm really exhausted.
In summary, the main reason I felt so tiring was because I wasn't familiar with the route. If you're planning to visit Wudang Mountain, here's a plan: first take a bus to Qiongtai, then take the cable car both ways. First, ascend to the Golden Summit. After descending the cable car, take a bus to Nanyan. Ascending uphill, you'll find the Ximei Temple on the left and Tianyi Zhenqing Palace and Longtouxiang on the right. These places are relatively close, so if you don't burn out, you can easily climb them. Then, take the bus down to Zixiao Palace, Xiaoyao Valley, and Taizipo (the bus driver will announce each stop and ask if you want to get off). This way, you can explore the area easily while still not missing out on the main attractions, making the experience much better. (I was tired again today. I only saw many places from afar and couldn’t reach them [covering my face]. According to the introduction, there are 6560 stone steps, which are very steep. The higher you go, the higher the steps are [evil smile])
