In 1975, Sri Lanka built the world&#39;s first elephant orphanage in Pinnawala, nearly 90 kilometers away from the capital Colombo, to adopt orphaned elephants that lost their herds for various reasons. There are now nearly 100 elephants, making it a famous tourist attraction.

The entire scenic area is divided into two areas, east and west, by the road, with three attractions:
