Magic place. Lot's of places to visit, tours are very safe and the guides are great fun. Stay and eat at San Pedro, nice, little town in the middle of the desert.
I went to see the Valley of the Moon, but the schedule didn't work out due to rain, so I chose the geyser tour. I arrived at the geyser at 5 am after passing through a bumpy road. It was amazing to see it up close, unlike when I saw it from afar, and I was sucked into the scene that looked like the surface of another planet. This wasn't the end. After eating breakfast in an open space on all sides, I was tired from the 2-hour descent and was about to close my eyes, but it was so dark on the way up that I couldn't see the Andes scenery, so it was a wonderful tour that I couldn't sleep.

must go in Chile. just like yellow stone in Chile. not far from calama Airport.
It's very high up and very cold, but the views are beautiful You need to get up early to visit this place. It takes a few hours to get there, and it's very high up and very cold, so you need to wear extra clothes. The geyser itself is not as spectacular as some of the geysers in other parts of the world, even though they are the highest. There are a lot of beautiful views to see on the way there from San Pedro.

The Church of San Pedro de Atacama is a monastery with a history of more than 500 years. The color of the entire church building is khaki, which looks very old. The decoration inside the church is very simple, and the triangular roof of the wooden board looks particularly plain. Maybe this is what the church really looks like, and it is worth coming to listen to the chanting quietly.

The Andean Plateau Lake in Atacama is a large alpine freshwater lake. The lake water here is mainly formed by the melting snow from the surrounding mountains. The lake surface is very calm, and it feels like a huge mirror, reflecting the surrounding snow-capped mountains and blue sky and white clouds. It is very beautiful.
Most of the lakes in the Andes Plateau are formed by the melting water of snow-capped mountains. They are blue and clear, similar to the lakes on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in my country. Because it is located on the plateau, the air here is very fresh. When the lake is calm, the beautiful scenery of the sky and the surrounding snow-capped mountains will be reflected in it, which is really beautiful.
