The Bund is the soul canvas of Shanghai. On one side is the World Architecture Expo, with Gothic spires and Baroque reliefs telling the old times; the Lujiazui skyscraper on the other side pierced the sky, and the glass curtain wall reflected the clouds. Morning and dusk are wonderful: the clock tower in the morning light is platinum, the lights are blooming in the dusk, and the river wind is carrying the whistle, woven with the epic intertwined between tradition and modernity.
As the lights come on, the Bund's international architectural complex is bathed in golden neon. Fifty-two century-old buildings transform into a living fossil of the "Wall Street of the East" in the night. Gothic spires, Baroque columns, and Greek domes juxtapose sharp angles under the lights, while the emerald green dome of the Peace Hotel resembles a vintage gem. Across the river, the giant screens of Lujiazui's skyscrapers illuminate simultaneously, the Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai Tower casting cyber-like reflections on the Huangpu River. Cruise ships streak across the mirror-like waters like shooting stars. Traveling north along Scenic Boulevard, the steel skeleton of the Waibaidu Bridge, bathed in colorful light, tells the story of "Romance in the Rain." The customs bell chimes seven times, and the entire riverbank is instantly transformed into a glazed illusion. Turning onto Yuanmingyuan Road, boutique cafes are hidden within the arched windows of old buildings, separated from the bustling riverside by a wall. At the ferry terminal, couples whisper against the "Lovers' Wall," shattering the Shanghai night in the river breeze. Here, a century of colonial memory and contemporary financial ambitions face each other across the river, and every step is a montage of history and the future.

Lujiazui is undoubtedly a shining pearl of Shanghai and even China. This area, nestled along the Huangpu River, has transformed from a former tidal flat into a world-renowned financial center, bearing witness to China's rapid development since the reform and opening-up policy. Its skyline, punctuated by towering skyscrapers, features iconic structures such as the Shanghai Tower, the Shanghai World Financial Center, and the Jinmao Tower, awe-inspiring, showcasing the beauty and power of modern architecture. The "Lujiazui Four-Piece Set" has become Shanghai's iconic landmark, attracting countless tourists for photo opportunities. As a core financial hub, it is home to numerous leading domestic and international financial institutions. Its bustling trading floors and bustling financial professionals convey a vibrant business atmosphere and economic vitality, making it a key window into the financial dynamics of China and the world.
Lujiazui, as a financial center and city landmark in Shanghai, does have many highlights worth mentioning. The following are my real comments on Lujiazui, hoping to help you better understand this bustling area: Advantages: Modern skyline: Lujiazui has the most representative skyscrapers in Shanghai, such as Shanghai World Financial Center, Jinmao Building, Shanghai Central Building, etc. The architecture is unique and the night view is particularly spectacular, making it a great place to take pictures and punch in. Rich business and entertainment: There are many high-end shopping centers (such as Zhengda Plaza, IFC Mall), luxury hotels and a variety of restaurants, from international cuisine to local characteristics, to meet different needs. Convenient transportation: subway and bus lines are developed, convenient to reach other areas of the city, convenient transportation. Beautiful riverside landscape: The riverside trail along the Huangpu River is suitable for walking, running or enjoying the city lights in the night, especially on holidays or special holidays, where light shows and fireworks are unforgettable. Inadequate: crowded: holiday or weekend, tourists and locals are many, may feel crowded, affecting the experience. Higher prices: dining, shopping and accommodation here are generally expensive, may not be very friendly for budget tourists. Strong business atmosphere: Lujiazui may feel too modern and cold if you prefer a more cultural or historical area. Overall evaluation: Lujiazui is a modern and prosperous area, very suitable for people who like urban landscapes, night views and high-end shopping experiences. Although the flow of people is dense and the price is high, its unique skyline and riverside scenery are definitely worth seeing. If you like the busy and modern architecture of the city, Lujiazui is definitely a must visit place in Shanghai.

The queues took too long. I only played three or four rides in one day. It was mainly because there were too many people. It was too hot in August. I saw three or four people fainting from heatstroke in the queue. I was waiting in line all day. The queues were so long that they circled left and right. I had to walk a lot and stood in line for more than an hour. Once you get in, it's hard to get out of the queue. I felt dizzy 😵. My clothes were wet all day. There were only two or three rides. I wanted to take my children to experience the most exciting ride performance, but there were only two or three rides twice. The last fireworks show in the evening was pretty good. It was worth the wait of thousands of people waiting for more than an hour! !
The front desk staff was very helpful and enthusiastic. They even upgraded our room when we checked in. The hotel is also very nice with complete facilities. It is very close to Hongqiao Railway Station and very convenient for travel. It is a very good hotel!

It's a great place to take children. The killer whale show is not to be missed. It's very nice. The kid who went rafting also liked it and said he wanted to take it a second time. It just felt like the time was a bit too short.
The environment is nice, but compared to Disney, there are fewer performances and activities to play, which can't sustain a full day of play. It's basically almost over by four in the afternoon.

Yu Garden is indeed very beautiful. It is a classical Jiangnan garden in the style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, embodying the artistic style of "quiet, beautiful, exquisite and delicate". After restoration, it incorporates the functionality, practicality and decorative characteristics of Shanghai-style gardens.
The lights are beautiful, the streets are bright, there are a lot of food on the road, small gifts are distributed at the entrance, and blessing plaques are given. It feels like you are spending money to consume and watching advertisements.

[Shanghai Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street: Happy hometown for shopping and eating, fireworks and modern feeling coexist! ] Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, which must be punched in Shanghai, really deserves its reputation! Walking on this street, one side is the time-honored brands and trendy shops, and the other is the bustling crowd. The lively and lively atmosphere is too exciting. Let’s talk about shopping first, from the time-honored brands to the international brands. If you want to feel the feelings, go to the first food store, Shen Dacheng, buy some butterfly cakes, fresh meat moon cakes as a souvenir, and you have to taste a bite in line! Young friends can rush to various trendy brand stores, cultural and creative shops, and there are retro tuk-tuks on the side of the road when they are tired. Sitting on the street slowly to see the street view, there is an instant feeling of crossing the old Shanghai. Don't worry about eating! In addition to the old-fashioned pastries just said, there are raw fried, soup dumplings, ribs rice cakes on the street, and you will not step on thunder if you find a store. We tried a time-honored soup bag, thin juice, with ginger vinegar, that is, the meal point has to be queued, it is recommended that the pedestrian street is particularly clean, the signs are clear, and it is very comfortable to go shopping. In the evening, the lights were on, and the buildings on both sides were covered with neon. It was more modern than during the day. The photos were more than the film! And the traffic is super convenient, the subway is directly accessible, and you can walk to the Bund to see the night view after shopping. It is very pleasant to blow the wind all the way. The only small drawback may be that there are really too many people on holidays, and you have to squeeze in the store if you want to go shopping, but it is also because there are many people, that kind of hot and lively fireworks. In short, whether it is to feel the historical heritage of Shanghai, or simply want to go shopping and buy, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is worth a visit, recommended to all friends who come to Shanghai!
Nanjing Road was bathed in a dazzling brilliance. Neon lights poured like a galaxy, outlining the contours of Gothic spires, Baroque domes, and skyscrapers. Century-old buildings, illuminated by the lights, told the legend of the "World Expo." Crowds surged like a tide, as street performers roller-skated and waved magnolia fans, drawing passersby to stop and cheer. The fragrant aroma of braised pork trotters from time-honored establishments blended with the sweet aroma of milk tea, and long lines formed at the 35-yuan secret recipe pig's trotter stall. Slowly heading east, the gilded dome of the Peace Hotel loomed even more majestic in the night, while the crimson glow of the Oriental Pearl Tower loomed faintly towards the Bund. Suddenly, the Apple and Huawei flagship stores faced each other across the street, their glass walls awash with technological light and shadow, a dialogue between the future and the past. The prosperity of the "Ten Miles of Foreign Concessions" has never faded, merely adding a touch of everyday life.

The one-hour show takes us on a journey through millennia of Shanghai, from the Warring States period to the Lujiazui skyline. The retro neighborhoods and Western-style buildings create a retro masterpiece in every shot.
The Shanghai stories one after another are particularly shocking, especially the awakening segment, which makes you feel like you have returned to that era. If you come to Shanghai, I suggest you come to the Eternal Love to watch the show.

The dragon boat was fantastic, smooth sailings and clear views. There are clean bathrooms on board and enough seating for my trip in early August. I would NOT recommend the buffet, the quality of food is just not very good.
Tickets purchased online can be boarded at the designated pier with a QR code, which is very convenient! You can arrive at the pier earlier and quickly get on board to find a seat with a good view in the cabin. The entire tour process has a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery on both sides of the Pujiang River, and it is even more beautiful to take pictures on the open deck. You can bring your own food on board, sit and eat, watch and chat, beautiful, beautiful!

The park boasts 52 large and medium-sized rides and over 100 experiences, covering a wide range of genres, from thrilling rides like roller coasters, bungee jumping machines, and pendulums to gentler rides suitable for the whole family, like carousels and bumper cars. Featuring China's first wooden roller coaster, "Wooden Dragon," known as the "Grandfather of Roller Coasters," and "Top Glory," a world-class suspended drop coaster, it plunges vertically from a 60-meter peak, offering the thrill of free fall. Dining: The park offers a variety of dining options, including barbecue and fried food, as well as themed restaurants to cater to diverse tastes. Shopping: Numerous themed shops sell a variety of Happy Valley-themed souvenirs, toys, and apparel, including adorable cartoon dolls and Happy Valley logo T-shirts. Convenient Transportation: Located within the Sheshan Tourist Resort in Songjiang District, Shanghai, transportation is conveniently located, offering a variety of transportation options. Sightseeing buses are available within the park, and you can also rent a car for sightseeing. A rich variety of themed areas: including Sunshine Harbor, Happy Hour, Shanghai Bund, Shangri-La, Happy Ocean, Gold Mine Town, and Hurricane Bay. Each area boasts a unique architectural style and themed atmosphere. For example, Sunshine Harbor is imbued with British charm, while Shanghai Bund recreates the ambiance of early 20th-century Shanghai. • Beautiful Environment: The park boasts abundant greenery, winding rivers, lakes, fountains, and other attractions. During your visit, you can enjoy both beautiful natural scenery and meticulously crafted cultural attractions, such as the "Canyon Rafting" experience, which allows you to experience the natural beauty of the canyon. Cultural Performances Exciting Performances: The park boasts a five-in-one performing arts system encompassing theatrical performances, festival performances, parades, mobile performances, and large-scale water shows. For example, the large-scale cross-media live water show "Sky Curtain Water Extreme" utilizes a variety of multimedia art and technology to create stunning audiovisual effects. Strong theme: The performance content is consistent with the theme of the park. For example, "New Shanghai Bund Storm" is set in the old Shanghai Bund in the 1930s. It uses film and television special effects to reproduce the glorious years of fierce competition in old Shanghai, making visitors feel as if they have traveled back to that era.
It's great to go during the Spring Festival. The place is big and there are fewer people than many amusement parks. You can basically play in a 20-minute queue. Adults and children can have fun. There are also many folk performances. At the end, we also watched the fireworks show.

What a colorful world! It's so kid-friendly! Even as an adult, I had a blast looking at all those colorful building blocks! I've upgraded my annual pass and can't wait to explore more!
