From a historical perspective, Yanmen Pass has served as a crucial hub for exchanges between the Central Plains and the nomadic ethnic groups of the north since the Spring and Autumn Period. It has witnessed countless wars and historical events, such as the story of the Yang Family Generals and the Journey to the Frontier by Concubine Zhaojun, making it a symbol of the Chinese national spirit. Its well-preserved city walls, fire towers, arrow towers, and other military installations, along with its rich historical relics, allow visitors to deeply experience the grandeur and splendor of ancient frontier defense culture.
Of the nine fortresses in the world, Yanmen Pass is the most important. China's first fortress!!! Entering from the North Gate parking lot, I paid 10 yuan for a round-trip ticket. Once I entered Mingyue Tower, I officially entered the fortress. It takes a lot of energy to climb all the way up the Great Wall! ⬆️ Feel the vicissitudes of ethnic integration and history!

I went to Taiyuan Botanical Garden originally for the famous elevator, but I saw different beautiful scenery at different times. The garden is very large, with a large number of fish. You can also rent a small car to drive around the garden. It is very leisurely and comfortable. The only complaint is that the food there is really average. It would be better if the restaurant could be improved.
Taiyuan Botanical Garden is the only comprehensive botanical garden in Shanxi Province that integrates scientific research, popular science education, horticultural appreciation, and cultural tourism. The following is a detailed introduction: • Location: Located 800 meters south of the Luocheng Expressway Exit in Jinyuan District, Taiyuan City, it stretches 100 meters north of Fengyusha River to the north, borders Taigu Highway to the south, stretches from the entrance of Fengyugou to the west, and stretches to Jinyang Avenue to the east. The garden covers a total area of approximately 2,730 mu. • Park Layout: The overall plan is divided into five functional areas: entrance management area, plant science classification area, plant science application area, plant evolution display area, and scientific experiment area. Construction includes the main entrance building, exhibition greenhouse, bonsai pavilion, waterfront restaurant, research center, landscaping projects, water works, and 25 specialized gardens, including a rose garden, perennial flower garden, and locust osmanthus garden. • Main Venues: The exhibition greenhouses consist of three separate greenhouses, each utilizing an imported wood structure and glass curtain walls. Automatic climate control systems create a suitable environment for plants, including a tropical greenhouse, a desert greenhouse, and a seasonal greenhouse. The Botanical Science Museum, covering 4,300 square meters, is divided into seven exhibition areas, including Plants: Evolution and Plants: Secrets. It uses images, text, audio, and video to educate people about plants. The Bonsai Museum combines the visual and the concrete, with indoor displays focusing on eight major bonsai schools and outdoor displays primarily dedicated to the Jin style of bonsai, comprehensively showcasing the history, techniques, and cultural connotations of bonsai.

Baoquan Tourist Area is a national AAAAA-level scenic spot located in Huixian City, Xinxiang City, Henan Province, China. With canyon ecology, waterfalls and cliff experiences as its core features, it covers a total area of 110 square kilometers and is known as the "Taihang Water Kingdom" and "Central Plains Waterfall Group".
Very good. Henan's tourism industry chain is really doing very well now. It's a good place to take children. The children have a lot of fun playing in the water. The environment is also very good. In summer, except for being a little hot, it is definitely a good place to play. Moreover, the bus can return to the service center at any time in the evening. It's really good and much better than too many attractions.

On the first night in the ancient city, I was attracted by the Dai Wang Mansion. Although I knew that it was a modern renovated building, I couldn't help but be attracted by the ancient atmosphere. The iron flower performance in the evening was even more surprising. It can be seen that the actors are very dedicated. Thumbs up! It's so beautiful!
Because Dai Wangfu is newly built, the building itself is grand but lacks details, but it is very well integrated with the performance. We entered at 7:50 pm and caught the palace flame show at 20:00, which was very exciting, especially the final iron flower, which was particularly shocking combined with the Chengyun Hall under the lights. We were also lucky enough to catch the drone show. Basically, seeing the world of Datong, watching the palace flame show, and the drone show was worth the price. The ticket price was 97 for an adult and 65 for a child, compared with the excitement of the performance, the cost performance was still very good, and it was a very fulfilling night!

Huangcheng Xiangfu, a 5A-level scenic spot in Jincheng, Shanxi, boasts a rich cultural heritage and distinctive architecture. It was the residence of Chen Tingjing, and Emperor Kangxi stayed there twice. The ancient buildings are hailed as "the home of northern China's foremost cultural powerhouse." The scenic area offers wonderful performances, such as "Welcoming the Emperor" and "The Eight Sounds of the Prosperous Era," and also offers special travel photography services. However, there are some issues, such as high ticket prices, overcharging within the scenic area, and unclear guide signs. Overall, it's suitable for visitors interested in history and culture, but the scenic area's management and services need improvement.
The Imperial City Prime Minister's Mansion, the former residence of Chen Tingjing, the imperial tutor and worthy minister of the Qing Dynasty, is a grand manor with distinctive Shanxi residential characteristics. The entire scenic area boasts meticulously arranged courtyards and a simple and elegant style, particularly the corridors, terraces, and pavilions, which embody the uniquely charming Shanxi cave-dwelling architectural style.

1. Worth a visit, especially for history buffs. 2. There are official guided tours, ranging from 200 yuan to 280 yuan per person, and each tour covers up to 20 people. A small family can book one, or several families can join for a better value. 3. There's a restaurant on site that caters to a wide range of tastes, and for a scenic spot, you can eat well. 4. There's also a VR Oracle Bone Script Adventure, which is quite entertaining and a favorite for children.
The Yinxu Museum, a renowned museum of oracle bone inscriptions from the Shang Dynasty, is located in Anyang, Henan Province. It is China's first national-level museum dedicated to a comprehensive exhibition of Shang civilization. Built within the World Cultural Heritage site of Yinxu, it has become a globally renowned cultural landmark. Key features include: - Exploring Shang Civilization: Tracing the century-long history of Yinxu archaeology, from the discovery of oracle bone inscriptions to the application of modern archaeological techniques, it showcases how generations of archaeologists awakened the dynasty after a 3,000-year slumber. - The Great Shang Civilization: As the core exhibition hall, it comprehensively showcases the Shang Dynasty's remarkable achievements in politics, military affairs, agriculture, handicrafts, writing, and capital city construction. Visitors can closely admire: - The Simu Xin Ding: A significant bronze vessel unearthed from Fu Hao's tomb in 1976, its inscription bears witness to the legendary queen's supreme status. - The Yachang Oxen Zun: The only ox-shaped bronze zun ever found, featuring intricate and exquisite ornamentation, it represents the pinnacle of Shang Dynasty bronze art. - 23 Shang Dynasty chariots: Specimens of China's earliest chariots, displayed in a matrix format, recreate the magnificent spectacle of "chariots rumbling, horses neighing." - Shang Civilization of the World: This exhibition places Shang civilization in a global perspective, juxtaposing it with contemporary civilizations such as ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia, revealing its unique position in the history of human civilization.

Longquan Ancient Town: An In-Depth Experience Report on the Drama Fantasy City I. Immersive Theatrical Experience: An Audiovisual Feast Weaving Past and Present "The Last Stand": Based on the story of Han Xin in the early Han Dynasty, the show adds elements of flying armor and a golden dragon horse. The battlefield scenes are recreated through a 5D sound and light system, allowing the audience to feel the thrill of galloping war horses. 12 "Fantasy Li Bai": Holographic projection technology allows the immortal poet to "walk through walls." Combined with an HDR lighting system, the heroic spirit of "Song of the Wine" is vividly portrayed. 34 Interactive Performance: Visitors can participate in the plot of "Zhengtai Railway," becoming engineers from the Republic of China to decipher railway blueprints. The immersive experience has received five-star reviews from families. 25 II. Ancient Town Features and Supporting Services Architectural Features: Over 900 Ming and Qing dynasty residences have been reconstructed, and the Baochai Tower stage is the largest outdoor ancient stage in North China. At night, illuminated by lights, it resembles a long ink painting scroll. 14 Dining Experience: Specialty snacks like Shanghai shengjian (a type of fried dumpling) are available for 30 yuan per person. Hanfu-style teahouses are located along the Yingyue River, where you can enjoy tea while watching the parade of wupeng boats. 67 Amenities: Three surface parking lots (Parking Lot 1 is 680 meters from the scenic area). Wheelchair rentals and multilingual guides are available at the visitor center. 67 III. Value for Money and Visitor Feedback Ticket Value: A 78 yuan all-inclusive ticket includes access to several major performances and dozens of smaller performances, significantly outperforming similar attractions (such as Zhengzhou's "Only Henan" starting at 290 yuan). 38 Real Reviews: 4.3 points on Ctrip (1035 reviews). Families praised the "safety for children to run around and the cultural experience to be enjoyable." Some suggested improved parking guidance during peak season. 79 IV. Night Tour Highlights Recommended Summer Night Tour Route (until 10:30 PM): 6:30 PM Folk Lion Dance Performance → 7:15 PM "The Emperor and the Assassin" Live-Action Drama → 8:00 PM Yingyue River Light Show → 9:00 PM Hanfu Parade, Ending at Wonton Shop for a Late-Night Snack (511). Summary: For a 78 RMB ticket, you can "travel through thousands of years"—suitable for history enthusiasts, families, and photographers. For a better experience, avoid peak weekends.
There is an ancient city on one side and a water town on the other. It's fun and the performances are great. It's really great and very suitable for taking children to play! I suggest you take a slow walk, watch every performance, walk slowly through the ancient city, and take a boat to experience the night view!

Shanxi is a great place to visit for its above-ground cultural relics, and Shaanxi is a great place to visit for its underground artifacts. Shanxi is definitely worth a visit, especially for those interested in history. It's just that Shanxi is a bit under the radar and doesn't get a lot of publicity. This trip was a delightful one, and the tour guide was incredibly thoughtful! He planned the route in advance to avoid crowds, constantly reminded us to bring our belongings and be safe, and promptly helped anyone with any needs. He was like a thoughtful friend, making the trip incredibly stress-free! The driver was also very attentive and took great care of us. The only downside was that the car was a bit old. Overall, it was a joyful and unforgettable trip.
The kids loved it, especially the simulated mine, which was a very immersive experience. Coal is an energy storage medium. Nature has spent hundreds of millions of years achieving energy conservation, storing solar energy absorbed by ancient plants through photosynthesis in coal. Modern people then dig it up and ignite it to produce heat and carbon dioxide.

Datong, once the capital of the Northern Wei Dynasty, is home to numerous historical relics. The Datong Museum houses artifacts primarily from the Northern Wei period, most notably a painted lacquer screen unearthed from Sima Jinlong's tomb. However, the exhibits here are replicas; the originals are likely too fragile to be displayed, as the wood itself is notoriously difficult to preserve over millennia.
Datong Museum is one of a group of cultural and art museums built in the south of Datong Municipal Government in the new district in recent years. It is adjacent to Datong Art Museum, Datong Theatre and Datong Library. The exterior design of the museum building is relatively modern, and the internal space is relatively large. Mainly the classification is displayed and introduced to the historical and cultural development process of Datong. The collection is rich, interesting and knowledgeable. Transportation is also more convenient.

The whole facility is basically the same as the scene in the Dream of Red Mansions. It feels like it hasn't changed much over the years. The actors are also very responsible. It was raining at night when I went there, and the actors were still performing in the rain.
For the price of 40, it is a little lacking in cost performance. If it is 20, it will be perfect. Parking is free, which is more than half of the advantage compared with other scenic spots. As for the fun, it is just so-so. Children can watch the fun.
