Diocletian's Palace, the No.1 must-visit in Split, is a time capsule of the Roman Empire! 4.5 points, 65 reviews. This 4th-century palace is now inhabited by residents and small shops, and the walls hide thousands of years of stories. Stepping into the bronze gate, on one side is the solemnity of the Roman colonnade, on the other side is the bustle of the market, churches, mausoleums, and atriums, where history and life collide everywhere. Free admission, but don't miss the guided tour, listen to the retired life of the Roman emperor, and see how Croatians make ancient monuments a daily life, a super cool time and space interweaving experience
One of the best places to visit in Split. Every afternoon there’s a guard show that attracts a lot of tourists. The place is overall very photogenic. Worth visiting for sure

Split, the second largest city in Croatia, is renowned for its ancient city center and its popularity as a cruise port.Wandering through the city's streets is like stepping into a time machine, leaving you awestruck by its timeless beauty.
This is the most famous old town in Croatia - Split Old Town. It is very charming to stroll in the streets of the old town. Various stalls sell different souvenirs and tourists can take photos with them. But there are also many thieves. One of our companions had his euros stolen here.

Split, Temple of Jupiter, the black marble Egyptian sphinx at the entrance is 3,500 years old, but unfortunately it has been "beheaded". In contrast, the sphinx on the right side of the cathedral bell tower is well preserved.
The temple is the atrium of the Diocletian Palace, surrounded by tall Roman columns, and consists of the Cathedral of St. Domnius and the bell tower of the attached church. The antechamber is a circular hemispherical hall with a tall vault, which has now collapsed, leaving a circular dome hole. The midday sun shines directly through the dome, bringing endless reverie.

the Riva is a wonderfully relax and beautiful area by the sea, where you can find loads of stalls and good restaurants. you can basically just sit there all day and lost track of time in the picturesque place.
Plitvice Lakes National Park is located in the karst mountains of central Croatia, and is very similar to Jiuzhaigou in my country. For thousands of years, water flowing over limestone and chalk gradually deposited into travertine barriers, forming natural dams, which in turn formed beautiful lakes, caves and waterfalls. This geological process is still going on today. ·The forests in the park are home to bears, wolves and many rare birds. ·The landscape is comparable to Jiuzhaigou in China, and it is worth a visit!
