As a southerner, Harbin is definitely worth a visit. The ice sculptures are beautiful against the backdrop of lights. The candied haws in the park are delicious, and the temperature is low enough that going there in the summer can make you feel like you're in winter in a split second.
It is a great surprise for people from the south. My family members are afraid of the cold in winter and dare not come. This indoor venue is very good, but you must choose the Dream Venue on the navigation, not the Ice and Snow World.

The Siberian Tiger Park is accessible by bus 🚌, making it particularly convenient to stay on Central Street. First, take the subway 🚇, then transfer to the bus 🚌, and you're in the park. There are some lovely sculptures 🐯 at the entrance, perfect for photo ops. There are two types of entrances: sightseeing buses and thrilling rides. The thrilling rides offer live chickens, ducks, and meat strips, and are more expensive than the sightseeing buses. I recommend going in the morning when the park opens, as the tigers and lions are usually full and won't eat, making for less interactive viewing. You can spot internet celebrities like Er Maitai and Er Mihu, as well as a two-year-old tiger cub, who's quite impressive despite his youth. There are also souvenir shops, but they're quite expensive. Outside the park, there are also some affordable and high-quality stalls selling souvenirs, so grab some if you're interested.
The Siberian tigers are pretty cool, and I was completely pissed off when I saw them. However, the thrill rides felt just like regular rides, and the 20 yuan per piece of meat is really expensive. And remember to buy your Ctrip tickets an hour in advance, otherwise you'll have to wait for them to be validated.

The sightseeing cable car lifts off the ground with a gentle jolt, gradually rising higher. The figures below gradually shrink to tiny, moving dots. As the cable car reaches the center of the river, the view suddenly widens, revealing the scenery on both sides. On one side, the modern city stands tall, while on the other, old streets and alleys shaded by green trees, separated by the leisurely flow of the river, a seemingly peaceful harmony. On the riverbank, a man fishes, motionless, like a wooden stake nailed to the shore; morning joggers appear and disappear beneath the shade of the willows. As the cable car approaches the other side, it slowly descends. Details of the ground below become clear: vendors are busy setting up shop, tourists are snapping photos with their phones, and children are running around and playing. The hustle and bustle of life washes over me, instantly dispelling any previous sense of alienation. Standing on the Songhua River bank of Sun Island, I gaze across at the modern cityscape of Harbin. Taking the cable car to Sun Island is truly a wonderful experience!

This family trip was excellent, and the hotel's service and facilities were excellent. The most important thing was being able to see the polar bears in the room, which the kids loved. There was a meet-and-greet with the penguins at 8:30 AM and a small interactive polar bear class at 9:59 AM. You could even add a 100 RMB gift to the polar bears for Dabao and Benben, and the food was fantastic! 😃 The hotel is right in the Polar Park, and hotel guests get a 10% discount on food and purchases within the park with their pink wristbands. Oh, and there's a freezer in the corner near the front desk door with free popsicles! 😜 The room also provided drawing paper and brushes, so the kids could draw whenever they wanted. What a thoughtful touch! The hotel also offers a one-hour solo night tour of the Polar Museum at 7:30 PM, which is great for parents to relax and unwind. 😋 No need to accompany them! We stayed for two days, and the kids couldn't get enough. I'd definitely stay at this hotel again! Also, the "Heart of the Ocean" beluga whale show at the Polar Museum in the Polar Park is a must-see! It's amazing! Go early to get a seat!

The building is magnificent and the quality of the pharmaceutical factory is impressive. It is very classic and luxurious. There are many agricultural products and fruits at affordable prices when you walk to the subway station.
The exterior looks like a work of art, and the interior looks like luxury. My companion asked me in surprise: Are you sure this is a pharmaceutical factory and not a casino? The attraction is free to visit, and the price/performance ratio is super high. The cultural and creative ice cream is also cheap and tastes good. There are also many DIY things that can be done by yourself, and the experience is very good.

You need to buy a ticket to visit Volga Manor, but it is still worth a visit. The Russian-style architecture is really beautiful. There are not many people and the place is quite large. You can rent a car and ride around for most of the day. If you walk, you can probably spend a whole day there. It is a good place to take photos and check in.
It completely exceeded my expectations. The riverside scenery felt a bit like being in Russia. The recreated Russian buildings are clustered together, rich in color, and each has its own unique character. I highly recommend St. Nicholas Church, which is beautiful. An informative introduction to the iconography would have been even better. The historical photos inside are also excellent, providing a deeper understanding of the church's role in Harbin's history. The Petrov Palace of Art is magnificent, with ten original murals depicting the life of the Tsarist court and aristocracy. The Golden Hall is truly impressive. There's an oil painting exhibition on the second floor. The entire estate embodies a Russian atmosphere and is well worth a visit.

Sun Island Scenic Area: A National 5A-level scenic spot and Harbin's iconic landmark, it's surrounded by water and boasts breathtaking scenery. Free areas include Sun Stone Square, where you can take photos with the Sun Stone; Squirrel Island, where you can feed the squirrels (please bring your own sunflower seeds); and Swan Lake, where you can watch black swans gracefully swim. The shaded lakeside trees of Shuige Yuntian are a great place to escape the summer heat.
A long-established 5A scenic spot in Harbin. The song "Sun Island" brought this island on the Songhua River to national attention. Besides its natural beauty, the island's main attractions include the Ice and Snow World and Snow Sculpture Park in winter, the Polar Pavilion with its clever beluga whales and penguins, the charming Russian-style town with its numerous Russian-style villas, and the recent addition of the giant panda cheese and sesame. Across the river, Harbin's main city awaits, while cable cars and river boats offer sunset views. Perhaps this is a summer getaway for Harbin residents seeking family getaways. Don't expect too much; just relax and discover what you're looking for. Here, you'll find natural scenery, cultural architecture, and animals—a truly peaceful retreat.

It was a very last minute trip and we were in a hurry. We didn't stay for long. The environment was beautiful. We didn't see flocks of red-crowned cranes, but we did see a few scattered ones. It was a perfect experience.
The Zhalong Ecological Tourism Area is located in Tiefeng District, Qiqihar City, 26 kilometers from downtown Qiqihar, and covers a total area of 4.7 square kilometers. The area boasts beautiful wetland scenery, including attractions such as the Zhalong Tide, Lotus Pond, Cranes Crying in the Clouds, Deer and Cranes in Spring, and Cranes in the Reed Forest. The area also boasts a diverse range of attractions, including the Crane Watching Tower, Shuili Island, Famous Crane Garden, the Zhalong Wetland Museum, and the Red-crowned Crane Rewilding Training Flying Area. Watching the rewilding and releasing red-crowned cranes from the corridor platform is the highlight of all Zhalong attractions. During the daily training flights, the beautiful red-crowned cranes, fluttering their pristine white wings, soar freely across the blue sky, creating a pleasing and poetic experience, and bringing blessings of "good fortune" from the immortal energy. At the same time, after years of construction and development, the scenic area has continuously improved its tourist service facilities such as visitor centers, parking lots, hotels, restaurants, souvenir shops, etc., and has been equipped with scenic area shuttle buses and developed water sightseeing routes, which have won the love and praise of many tourists.

On the way there, the national highway on the hillside towards Rehe was very bad, the scenery was nice, the service attitude was also very good, and I was a little scared when I walked in and walked out of the sacred tree.
The natural resources given by God were artificially modified and given mysterious names. Visitors can give full play to their imagination and create this beautiful Maolanggou.

Central Avenue's highlights focus on the blend of centuries of history and diverse experiences: 1. Architectural Art Expo 2. Breadstone Memories 3. A Century on the Tip of Your Tongue 4. New Nightlife Scenes 5. A Blend of History and Modernity
Strolling Central Avenue, Encountering Century-Old Architectural Splendor Setting foot on Harbin's soil, I was filled with anticipation for the unique charm of this city of ice and snow, and Central Avenue was undoubtedly the centerpiece of my exploration. As I stood at the intersection of this century-old street, gazing up at the quaint wrought iron street sign, an indescribable excitement washed over me, and I couldn't wait to begin this wondrous encounter with history and art. As soon as I stepped onto Central Avenue, the breadstones beneath my feet caught my eye. Time-honored, each one is round and richly textured. Their close arrangement seems to silently tell a story of the past. Legend has it that these breadstones were laid in 1924, designed and supervised by the Russian engineer Komtrashok. Each one is 18 cm long and 10 cm wide. At the time, a single square stone cost a silver dollar, making it truly a "golden pavement." Walking along it, my steps unconsciously become light and slow, afraid to miss a single detail. Walking along the street, the first thing that catches your eye is the Chow Tai Seng flagship store. Formerly the "Golobus" Jewish Cinema, it was built in 1919 and is a prominent Renaissance-style building on Central Avenue. This two-story brick-concrete structure features walls constructed of simulated stone. The horizontal lines defined by the grooves give the building's base an exceptionally stable appearance, like an old man, weathered yet unfailingly calm, firmly rooted in the earth. The intricate floral patterns beneath the eaves resemble artistic treasures gifted by time, each carving imbued with the ingenuity and meticulous care of the artisans. At the corner, the main entrance's crowning floral ornamentation stands out, offering a warm welcome. The wrought iron balconies atop them are uniquely shaped and exquisitely crafted, their craftsmanship breathtaking. Imagine the days of yore, when, as night fell, balcony concerts would slowly begin, the melodious music blending with the laughter of the crowds, adding an endless romance and warmth to this ancient street. Although the balcony concerts are now a thing of the past, the beautiful scene feels as if it were right before my eyes, captivating me. Continuing my stroll, the building housing Matsuura 1918 Western Restaurant instantly caught my eye. It's the former site of the Matsuura Trading Company, built in 1918, and the only remaining Baroque-style building on Central Avenue. Its exterior is visually striking, with exaggerated curves and ornate decorations that perfectly capture the unique charm of Baroque style. The two giant statues of Titans, inspired by ancient Greek mythology, tower majestically at the entrance, as if guarding the building and its turbulent history. Stepping inside, the retro decor evokes a sense of time travel back a century. The exquisite furnishings and soft lighting exude a rich historical atmosphere in every detail. Ordering an authentic Russian meal here, savoring the food while immersing yourself in the stories woven into this building and experiencing the fusion of history and modernity is truly a rare treat. As we walked, we arrived at the International Trading Company. Built in 1922, it was once a fashionable foreign goods store on Central Street.
