Socotra Island is located south of the Arabian Peninsula, at the junction of the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden. It is part of the Indian Ocean Archipelago and was listed as a direct natural heritage site in 2008. Isn't the sea view beautiful? There are also dragon blood trees that are very unique.
The Sokotra Islands have many unique or rare creatures in the world, known as the "Galapagos" of the Indian Ocean. The most impressive of these are the dragon blood tree and the desert rose. But the infrastructure on the island is very poor, the capital Hadibu most of the "street" is sandy roads, the signal of the middle movement is only available in a very small range of airports, the wifi signal is only available in hotels, and it is very weak. Flights are only to Aden, the temporary capital of South Yemen, and Mukala, the capital of Hadramau province, and Abu Dhabi, the UAE (every week), with almost no flight on time. We flew from Mukala to Hadib delay for one day, and from Hadib to Aden delay for three days, suffering.
