The Suzhou Museum boasts a strikingly modern architecture, with I.M. Pei's design ingeniously blending traditional elements. However, the exhibits are limited, the content is somewhat limited, and long lines are often required for entry. If you're expecting a rich collection of cultural relics, you might find the architecture more appealing than the collection, leaving you with a somewhat unbalanced experience.
Suzhou Museum architecture is very design characteristics of Bei Xuming, white walls and ash and garden elements are cleverly integrated. However, the internal exhibition space is limited, and the number of precious cultural relics is not as expected, and often needs to be queued to enter the venue. If it is for architectural aesthetics, it is worth seeing; if you focus on cultural relics to view, or you need to adjust your expectations.

Xiyuan Temple is full of incense, and the reputation of the plain face is very good. The cat group in the temple has become a feature. However, after the increase of tourists, it is a little noisy, and the management of the release pool area can be improved. If you are looking for a clean Zen, it is recommended to avoid the holiday morning.
Xiyuan Temple boasts a simple and elegant architectural style, with its overall layout adhering to traditional principles of symmetry. The temple's core consists of the Heavenly King Hall and the Main Hall, with the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Front Garden, and Mountain Gate Hall nestled between them. Flanking the temple are the Guanyin Hall, the Arhat Hall, and several side halls, each imbued with a tranquil and solemn atmosphere. Hidden in the backyard of Xiyuan Temple lies a tranquil pond for releasing animals, its waters flowing gently around the temple.

The service was very good, the performance was wonderful, and if you make a good plan, three and a half hours is enough. The children had a lot of fun, and the food in the restaurant outside tasted very good. Overall it was very good and worth a visit.
Overall, it's pretty good, but the price is a bit confusing: 389 for three people, 298 per person... There's a decent selection of activities inside, but many of the activities over 150 are off-limits. Maybe that's why. If three kids are paying 150, it's a steal, haha. The most annoying thing about it is the 3.5-hour time limit. It starts counting from the moment you check your ticket at the entrance, and that includes everything from borrowing, donning, and returning gear. You have to keep to a timetable to avoid running out, like you're a special forces soldier. Finally, the service was excellent. The instructions were clear and efficient. Even with the ticket check and other things, we were able to get everything done within half an hour. My child dropped his phone watch while returning his gear, and the staff called immediately. Thank you 🙏 for not losing it again. The show was also fantastic, and well worth a visit.

The scenery of Panmen Scenic Area is nice, but it's not worth the price. I have to complain about the definition of children's ticket. Children over 1.4 meters are half-price tickets. You can't buy half-price tickets online, you can only go to the ticket window. The attitude of the ticket inspector at the door is not very good.
This is my third time going there, and it is really worth the trip. I didn't pay attention to it the first two times. There is also a night view and night show, which is very beautiful. The new Legend of White Snake event seems to bring myself into the TV series, and I suddenly recall the scenes of my childhood. The cost performance is very high. The water and land city gate is the most complete and oldest in the world. It is very historical and interesting. The landscape is very beautiful, and the ancient city wall is well preserved.

The afternoon session is really worth playing. First, go to the indoor Milk Dragon Magic World to play for a while, and then wait until 5 o'clock to see the children's projects. Don't underestimate these projects, some of them are quite exciting. Then continue playing inside. If you don't watch the 8 o'clock show, you can go through it all. There are basically no people at that time. If you like taking pictures, remember to go to the performance area at 8 o'clock. The lights are particularly beautiful.
Said to be the Disneyland of Suzhou, the Nailong Park has excellent rides. Even the hot summer heat couldn't dampen the children's enthusiasm. It's a very cost-effective park. When you're tired, you can find a shop to eat and drink to replenish your energy. Watching a magic show or a movie is also a great option. I heard there's also a fireworks show at night, which is a great experience. Highly recommended!

The climb up the mountain was filled with excitement, revisiting childhood memories. The narrow strip of sky and the flying rocks still vaguely resembled my childhood. A thunderstorm hit just as we reached the top, and I was so scared I ran down the mountain like a rocket. If it hadn't been raining, I probably wouldn't have had the energy to make it down. Haha. Overall, it felt great; I got some exercise while breathing in the fresh air of nature.
Having already seen the red leaves at Tianping Mountain, I decided to see the azaleas this time, also to avoid the May Day crowds. I found the selection perfect: stained glass windows, long corridors, a small river, Buddhist temples, and small hills. I was very satisfied and had a wonderful day with my baby. Tianping Mountain is not high, but there are many caves and small crevices with narrow gaps in the sky, perfect for little ones who love climbing.

On August 13, 2025, one adult and one child were at Suzhou Amusement Park Forest World: Expenses: 1. Ticket price: 193 yuan. 2. Children's pistol: 25 yuan, Super Mario wallet: 30 yuan, commemorative coin: 20 yuan. Total expenses: 268 yuan. Entry: 1. Run the Sky Roller Coaster (Chen Muqing) 6 times and Chen Jiarun 3 times. 2. Watch the movie "North Latitude 31°" (Chen Muqing) 1 time and Chen Jiarun 2 times. 3. Fantasy Drifting and Tower of Courage 1 time each. 4. Watched the "2025 Suzhou Amusement Park Budweiser Super Beer Music Festival" together. 5. Other expenses are negligible. Total expenses: 2 people mainly enjoyed 5 rides 18 times, at an average of 14.9 yuan per ride. There was also a roller coaster (140 cm), a bungee jumping machine (140 cm), and a haunted house (150 cm) that was not tall enough. Conclusion, "One force defeats ten skills" [frown]
Suzhou Paradise Forest World is worth visiting again and again. I recommend it. I have already taken the time to go there twice this year. I haven't been there for a long time before that. It's great. I can't describe it specifically. You can only feel it fully when you are there~

Visit the Humble Administrator's Garden at dusk and encounter "Humble Administrator's Garden", an unforgettable private immersive experience. There is no crowd of day tourers, and the experience is very good. When dusk shrouds the garden and the lights come on, the Humble Administrator's Garden fades away the noise of the day, and under the careful carving of light and shadow art, it shows a different kind of mystery and elegance. The tour route is carefully designed, and every landscape becomes the stage for the story. The travel butler is dressed in ancient costumes, and his gentle voice spreads the humanistic stories of Jiangnan and the historical origins of the garden. Next to Xiangzhou, the actors used water as a curtain and performed the elegant life of ancient literati with graceful dance postures, accompanied by the melodious sound of the guqin, making people seem to travel back a thousand years ago. This performance not only made me feel the beauty of the garden, but also made me deeply appreciate the profound heritage of Jiangnan culture, a double feast of vision and soul.
Art students are delighted! The lights are like precise brushwork, and the shadows of bamboo sway on the screen window like Zheng Banqiao's paintings. How can a thousand-year-old garden be so cool! A summer heat savior! The night breeze blows through the hall, and the lotus fragrance is refreshing. The light and shadow show turns the Humble Administrator's Garden into an open-air museum.

I just came back from climbing. If you go from Yushan South Road, there are relatively more steps. If you go up from the entrance of Yushan Park, the steps are relatively stable. It is recommended to go early in the morning when there are fewer people and the air is fresh. The climbing process is still a bit tiring. The wind on the mountain is a bit cool.
The high-speed railway along the Yangtze River is now open to traffic, making it more convenient to come to Changshu. Yushan is so beautiful. I came here 30 years ago. It is a scenic spot combining culture and nature. Now it is so convenient. You can see Suzhou City and Zhangjiagang. Lucky. The tower is well preserved!
