The castle is absolutely breathtaking! Go to Mary Bridge for the magnificent view but please be patient as there are so many people there. Then walk down from there to the castle. You can also enjoy the magnificent view around along the way. I also recommend going in and seeing the castle. Photography is not allowed inside the castle, but admiring the beautiful paintings and architecture, as well as the many amazing technological wonders within the castle, is still worth a visit.
The interior of Neuschwanstein Castle itself cannot be compared with the Munich Royal Palace, but its architectural features, especially the skill of being built deep in the mountains hundreds of years ago, are still amazing! Be sure to leave enough time (such as about 1 hour) to go up the mountain after buying or picking up tickets! The entrance to the palace strictly lets people in according to the time on the ticket. That day we encountered a situation where 3 people were almost late (because they went to the suspension bridge), and the other 3 people were late and were not allowed to enter.
