If you're driving, you can navigate to the Tiantai Mountain Grand Waterfall Visitor Center. After parking, enter the visitor center. There are two access points to the Grand Waterfall and Qiongtai Fairy Valley. The Grand Waterfall is located uphill. From the lower entrance of Qiongtai Fairy Valley, you need to take a bus for about five minutes to reach the entrance. You can then walk down. This route is recommended. It's relatively energy-efficient.
The 165 yuan package includes admission to both the Grand Waterfall and Qiongtai Fairy Valley, as well as admission to the glass bridge from Qiongtai to the Grand Waterfall. More importantly, it includes an elevator ride from the valley floor to the glass bridge entrance, which takes about one minute to reach the top, saving time and effort. The walk from the glass bridge to the Grand Waterfall and all the way to the scenic area's exit takes 90-100 minutes.
While the hike is quite long, the path is relatively easy. The descent, especially to the waterfall, provides close proximity to the waterfall, with a breathtaking view every few steps. It's well worth the visit.
In summary: Although it's an artificial waterfall, it's worth visiting. The hike is quite long, so it's recommended to walk from the top down. Wear sunscreen, as there are few trees blocking the view from the glass bridge to the waterfall. There are many shops along the way where you can replenish water and snacks. The scenic spot is a ten-minute drive from the county seat.
