The scenery of the scenic area is indeed beautiful, and the various stones are also very unique. But the parking fee is a bit unexpected: the scenic area parking lot actually charges according to the parking time! Climbing the mountain, the parking fee cost nearly 30 yuan, which is almost the cost of a 24-hour parking lot outside! This fee is indeed a bit unexpected, and it is recommended to be rectified
We went there at noon on October 2nd. The sun was shining brightly below the mountain, but it was windy and foggy up there. It was a busy National Day holiday, so the queues to get to the top of Hongyunding and the cable car down took several hours. We climbed up at noon and arrived at the foot of the mountain at 9pm. Although we were tired, it was worth the trip.

I went there during the National Day holiday, and the Xiaoqikong (Small Seven-hole Cave) was crowded, which wasn't a good experience. Honestly, the scenic area's scheduling and instructions are top-notch in China. However, we entered the park after 2 p.m., so it was hard to see at night. The lighting needs improvement. The next day, we went to the Daqikong (Big Seven-hole Cave), but we entered the park early in the morning and departed. There were fewer people, and the experience was much better. We queued in line and walked around the Xiaoqikong (Small Seven-hole Cave) for five hours. We walked to the Daqikong (Big Seven-hole Cave) and took a boat back, which took two hours.
I visited Xiaoqikong a long time ago, but it wasn't as well developed back then. This time, I was pleasantly surprised. The entire scenic area, from transportation to facilities and scenery, is simply amazing. I spent a full seven hours there and had a blast. I still haven't visited Daqikong yet, but I'm really tired. The scenery is incredibly beautiful, and there are plenty of places to check in and take beautiful photos. I highly recommend it! (You can buy a scenic spot ticket and enter it repeatedly for seven consecutive days, but the included transportation is only valid on the first and second days.) There are many B&Bs at both the east and west gates of the scenic area, with complete facilities and a great living experience. I've stayed at Qingfengshanju B&B and Milai B&B, both close to the west gate, and they're both excellent.

The location is great, very close to every attraction. When you get off the sightseeing bus, there will be a brother to help with the luggage (on the return trip, he will also help carry the luggage to the boarding point). It's nice. It's just a few steps to the B&B. It's located halfway up the mountain, so the scenery is great, but not far away. The facilities in the B&B are very convenient and thoughtful. The room design is also super beautiful. It's great and highly recommended.
The night view at night is really stunning and the photos are great. There are many travel photography shops, but I just picked one at random, and the photos I took were not good. I should still shop around. It is too difficult to find a parking space during holidays. The accommodation price in the scenic area is not proportional to the conditions. The food is very cost-effective, delicious and not expensive. Free purified water is provided along the way to the observation deck.

During the day, cruise along the One River and Four Lakes in Guilin. Hop on a 30-passenger boat and explore the scenery along the banks while listening to guided tours. The boat will pass by Elephant Trunk Hill, offering stunning photos from the lake. If time permits, a night cruise would be even more beautiful.
The night tour was a pleasant experience overall. Each boat held only 20 people, and it was a pleasant experience to enjoy the riverside nightscape while enjoying snacks and tea. The one-hour tour passed a variety of unique bridges. During the cruise, you could go up on deck to take photos, enjoy the cool breeze, and admire the beautiful scenery and performances on both sides. It was a unique experience.

The scenic area is free and the service facilities are quite good. There are a lot of people during the day, but it is orderly. There are fewer people at night, so you can take photos easily. There is also a concert at Gate 3. I had a wonderful Mid-Autumn Festival.
The scenery is quite beautiful, but it was too crowded during National Day, and Guilin was very hot at 36 degrees Celsius, making it unsuitable for children. A visit during cooler weather would be more comfortable. Also, the scenery in downtown Guilin isn't truly world-class; if you want to see the real scenery, you should go to Yangshuo, which is a true landscape gallery.

The scenic area is small, and the entrance fee includes a professional tour, offering insights into the history of the feudal lords and their intangible cultural heritage. The climb to Duxiu Peak takes only about 10 to 20 minutes. There are some optional paid activities (such as rubbings, worshipping the Tai Sui deity, and shopping). The interactive rubbing activity, where you only get a thin piece of paper, is a bit unreasonable, as it charges a fee to take it away. The cafes in the scenic area are also quite expensive. This is one of the less cost-effective attractions in Guilin. We suggest that the local cultural and tourism authorities adopt a more dignified management approach. The visitor experience is crucial.
The tour guide led the explanation for 2 hours. It is necessary to understand Tuofu and participate in the provincial examination. I saw some guides saying that you don’t need to go in and you can take pictures outside. Personally, I think it is only valuable if you go in and listen to the explanation.

Located on the mountain of Longji Jinkeng Dazhai Terraces, the road here is bumpy, but the scenery is unbeatable, the aesthetics are online, the service is considerate, and you can enjoy the sunrise directly in the room. The hotel's meals are also very good, and the suite was upgraded surprisingly. It is highly recommended
The visitor center is at least several dozen kilometers away from each village, accessible by scenic area shuttle bus. Parking is limited at each village, so I only visited Jinkeng Village, which has a cable car. I recommend taking the cable car to ascend, as the climb up is quite arduous. Descending on foot offers a more varied view.

The YOYO cruise was a fantastic choice for this trip! It was a truly great value! A super comfortable 4-star cruise for the price of a 3-star! There were also plenty of snacks. I recommend booking a cabin on the first floor; there's no need for the second. I rarely stayed in the cabins, but rather in the 3-floor observation deck. Overall, the experience was fantastic, highly recommended!

One of the highlights of a trip to Yangshuo, Guilin, is the scenic beauty of the route. From a price-performance perspective, there's little difference between buying a first- or second-floor deluxe seat, as you'll likely be on the third-floor deck for the best views anyway. For your reference,
If the Li River weren't worth visiting, there wouldn't be much to do in mainland China. The beauty of the Li River in Guilin is so stunning you can see it with one eye closed. Squinting makes it even more beautiful. Guangxi is abbreviated to Gui. What do Nanning and other parts of Guangxi think? They're killing people! The fish in the Li River is incredibly delicious. I wonder if it's still there? Can I eat it? Thirty years ago, I visited Guilin and took a photo that I published in the Xinjiang Daily. I'll look for that photo when I get a chance.

Yangsu's Yulong River rafting is highly recommended. The bamboo raft drifts downstream, the river gently flowing, and the lush green mountains and waters on both sides create a picturesque scene. The more thrilling part is the dam-striking experience, where the water splashes against your face, a thrilling experience without any danger, and the raftsman's witty remarks are truly captivating.
The Yulong River and the Ten-Li Gallery are well worth a visit, with stunning views. It's a truly soothing experience. Tips: We recommend staying in a hotel or B&B near the Yulong River for convenient access. The bamboo rafting trip on the Yulong River is divided into several sections. If you're staying upstream, take a raft down, disembark at the dock, and then rent an electric bike to cruise up the Ten-Li Gallery, stopping to take photos or stroll along the river. If you're staying downstream, rent an electric bike to cruise up the Ten-Li Gallery, return it, and then take a bamboo raft down the river at the dock.
