The scenic area is free of charge for veterans. The plants are very diverse and have a rich practical teaching effect on the children's knowledge accumulation. We visited the West Garden, took a hot air balloon, and the children took photos with the royal lotus! It is recommended to bring children. There are battery car stops throughout the journey, which is not tiring.
It is very suitable for the elderly and children to study and get close to nature. You can learn more and feel the beauty of nature. The fish in the lake are super big.

The scenic area is not too big. The Elephant Science Park and the Butterfly Garden are more interesting. They are places where you can interact with animals up close. Very suitable for family travel. 🌈🌈🌈
A place where you can get close to Asian elephants. Not only can you have fun interacting with them, but you can also learn a lot about them. Suddenly, I found that after the elephants sprayed water on the tourists with their trunks, they actually laughed happily. This place is very suitable for family travel.

The Ethnic Village, located near Dianchi Lake, showcases replicas of Yunnan's ethnic minority villages and famous buildings. It's a fascinating attraction for travelers eager to explore but short on time. You can take a guided tour by bus, and weather permitting, there are performances. Outside the main entrance is a commercial district offering dining and drinking opportunities.
The Ethnic Village is a large scenic area near Dianchi Lake. For tourists who don't have time to visit the actual villages but still want to learn about Yunnan's ethnic groups, it's a great place to visit. It's especially great to take a guided tour and listen to the guided tours. There are also many activities, but it rained heavily that day, so many activities were canceled.

Our guide, Mu Layou, was fantastic! He took us on a whirlwind of fun, including eating wild fruits and sour ants. He was incredibly strong, lifting us high and pushing us back down on the swings each time. It was incredibly thrilling. Afterward, he immediately arranged for us to eat. The barbecue, chicken, and fish were all delicious. It was a truly special experience!
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and discover nature on a hike in the Jinuo Mountain rainforest. The total distance is 5 kilometers, 2 kilometers by land and 3 kilometers by water. Along the way, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the rainforest's flora, fauna, environment, and ways of life. Dressed in a "savage costume," we experienced rainforest river tracing, high-altitude swings, tree abseiling, archery, and a rainforest feast, including sour ants and wild Sanya fruit (Banna's version of mangosteen). For families with young children (under 10 years old), we recommend booking a private tour with an experienced indigenous guide, who can provide one-on-one support for the children. Summary: Recommended family itineraries

It's a zoo worth visiting. It feels like you've entered the wild world of animals. The environment is in the mountains, and it's very comfortable to play. The animals are also well taken care of. You can see various animals very close up, and the interaction is very strong.
There's no way to finish exploring it! The zoo is so huge! My kids think it's even bigger than Chimelong Zoo! And there are so many interactive areas with the animals! Monkeys, raccoons, parrots, sea lions, tigers... The key is that the area is so large! With so many people, the restrooms are still clean, tidy, and spacious! It's really hard to do that!

It's fun to get in touch with nature, see the introduction of many animals, and feed the small animals. 20 yuan gives you some food and you can feed the small animals yourself. It's not tiring to walk all the way down, it's very suitable. You must buy a battery car, sit to the top of the mountain, and then walk all the way down to play
After traveling 1,700 kilometers from Guangdong to Pu'er, I finally found the park I like. I love the various plants and cute animals in this forest. Next time I have a chance, I will definitely avoid the peak summer crowds and come here to experience the fresh air and feel the breath of nature. In short, I love it~~

I rushed to buy Sunday tickets early Wednesday morning. They said tickets would be released at midnight, but it took a minute or two after midnight for them to be available. I recommend that older children purchase seats, even at half price, because the carriages are incredibly crowded. The free time at each attraction is quite ample, but restrooms can be a challenge. Girls, in particular, had to wait in line for a long time. The only additional charge is the return shuttle bus fare to Tuanshan Mingju, or you can hike down the mountain. It's not expensive, only three yuan per person. Overall, the experience was good, but it wasn't as clean and inviting as advertised. It was quite crowded, and there were a lot of people smoking at the station.
The overall experience was good. The train took five hours to go round trip, stopping at two stations, and ended with a visit to the Tuanshan Folk Houses. The evening intangible cultural heritage performance was a great experience, and you could tell the company was dedicated to the cultural tourism. The service was attentive, and the performers were very dedicated and put in a lot of effort. For a county-level intangible cultural heritage performance, it was quite good.

The best place to get to know a local is through a museum. Yunbo Museum is right next to Guandu Ancient Town. We went in the morning and it was quite crowded. Our tour guide said it was even more crowded in the afternoon, probably because many people visit Yunbo Museum before heading to Guandu Ancient Town.
The guide was very good! He covered six historical museums in two hours and covered almost all the important cultural relics. Yunnan's historical relics are very interesting. I benefited a lot and will come again next time!

Nighttime tickets are cheaper, but wait times are shorter than during the day, allowing for a wider range of attractions, and the Torch Festival is also lively. The park's design reflects strong ethnic characteristics and cultural heritage. Objectively speaking, annual passes are relatively inexpensive, and for families traveling with children, you can rent very affordable B&Bs (over 1,000 yuan per month, or under 100 yuan per day), perfect for both study and leisure activities. However, the planned location fails to fully leverage the unique character of Dianchi Lake. Due to its locational constraints, its food, living facilities, and transportation are inferior to those of the main urban area. For example, the local economy (Jinning District) may be problematic. The road between the main urban area and the park is unlit early in the evening, and the road is uneven in some areas.
Adults can bring their children to play, and both adults and children will have a lot of fun. It is impossible to play here in one day. The food inside is relatively expensive, so it is best to bring some food with you. Some areas may be slightly cheaper, but generally it is more expensive than outside. Don't buy raincoats outside, as the water activities inside are all free. When I left, I took a picture of the beautiful sunset, which was very photogenic. It's a pity that I didn't get to play many activities with my baby, but the older children didn't want to leave after having so much fun.

The scenery is beautiful, but there's some traffic. Traffic jams happen because some people think they're smarter than others and skip the line, overtaking from the side lanes and blocking oncoming traffic. I've taken photos of these cars skipping the line and exposing them, hoping to foster public scrutiny and promote social progress. We can't always let those who skip the line take advantage while those with public morals suffer.
This is the location mentioned in Chairman Mao's poem "The Long March." "The Five Ridges wind like gentle waves, the Wumeng Mountains are majestic and majestic, rolling in the mud." The great man's words are imbued with revolutionary passion. Back in 1935, at a time of national crisis, a group of Red Army troops, filled with revolutionary ideals to transform the world and build a new China, began their journey in the mountains of Jiangxi and Hunan. They were then forced into the Long March by counter-revolutionary encirclement and suppression. Eighty years ago, in today's peaceful times, have become a beautiful sight before our eyes. The hardships endured by the Red Army have become the roads we now face, the natural barriers we face now, and the world has been transformed! Arriving at the Wumeng Grassland, we'll find farmhouses and hotels along the way, each with its own cattle and sheep slaughterhouse. Herds of cattle and sheep abound, leisurely grazing amidst the blue sky, white clouds, and verdant mountains and clear waters. Here, too, there are groups of horseback riders and herders grazing their cattle. Galloping on horseback through the alpine meadows was such a joy... The road winds along, filled with seas of clouds, mountains, horses, cattle, sheep, and people unfettered by their own freedom, as well as tents and RVs of all colors. There are also campsites and people trekking up the canyon. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the people taking photos and checking in admirably embellish the beautiful scenery, a true reflection of the people's yearning and pursuit for a better life! The road may be long, but the journey will eventually lead to the destination! We also rode the bus through the rolling hills, letting our eyes take in the scenery and our hearts wander freely. Someone played "To the Clouds," which was perfectly fitting! Everyone sang and sang, taking in photos and checking in on the Cloud Plank Road. Occasionally, cattle and sheep would approach, unfazed. Many people drove along the mountain roads, but some cars unfortunately got stuck, causing traffic congestion in some sections. The weather in the mountains is unpredictable. Just one moment, the sky was clear, then suddenly it was overcast. From time to time, clouds would blow in, and then a moment later, a steady rain would fall... Perhaps this is the beauty and magic of the Wumeng Grassland. It's said that around 4 p.m., the Tyndall effect occurs, where sunlight scatters through clouds. If you're lucky, you might even witness the Buddha's light shining brightly. Due to time constraints, we didn't see it. We continued on our journey, passing through lush green mountains and clear waters, and then walked a long, poorly maintained road before reaching the Beipanjiang Bridge, said to be the world's tallest bridge at 600 meters. This is a great victory for our country's infrastructure, and it's a testament to the fact that mountain dwellers have transformed natural barriers into accessible roads, no longer feeling overwhelmed by the sight of mountains.
