While the buildings are mostly reconstructed, it's still quite enjoyable to visit, especially with kids. It took us almost three hours to see everything. The Korqin wool felt products were quite interesting, and I bought my child a hat. The jade workshop in the back made realistic dishes from various stones, which made us hungry. One of the young craftsmen is hearing-impaired and has no upper limbs. When we walked by, he was carving with his feet, which was truly awe-inspiring.
The Tongliao Xiaozhuangyuan Cultural Tourism Area is located in Huatugula Town, Horqin Left Wing Middle Banner, Tongliao City, 48 kilometers from the city center. It officially opened in August 2012. Centered around the birthplace of Empress Xiaozhuang Wen of the Qing Dynasty (1613-1688), the scenic area features a reconstruction of her former residence, the Prince Darhan Mansion. The area covers a total area of 8,900 mu (approximately 1,000 acres) and is now a national 4A-level tourist attraction. Empress Xiaozhuang Wen (Bumbutai) was born in the Prince Darhan Mansion. Her family was one of the leading tribes south of the Gobi Desert during the Qing Dynasty, making it known as the "Hometown of the Mother of the Qing Dynasty." The scenic area is conveniently located adjacent to the Xinlu Expressway.

Yinsha Bay is located in Kulun Banner, Inner Mongolia, about 2 hours' drive from Tongliao City. It is known as the No. 1 Desert in Northeast China. There are many recreational projects in the desert, such as camel riding for 100 yuan, Bigfoot for 150 yuan, desert off-road vehicles, archery, sand sliding, etc. The desert is very large and crowded.
Worth going, beautiful. I can't miss it, haha. The blue sky and white clouds are indeed beautiful, and the desert is beautiful. The service is also good. You can't see such a blue sky and such beautiful scenery in the city. The off-road racing is so exciting that I feel like I'm going to fly to the sky, hahaha. The sand sliding is indeed enough for three or five times, and it's too tiring to climb up haha. Summary: The sand is really fine and the scenery is really beautiful

Beautiful, sparsely populated, and unique, Kulun's Three Great Temples are located in Kulun Town, Kulun Banner, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. They consist of Xingyuan Temple, Fuyuan Temple, and Xiangjiao Temple. They were the political, economic, and cultural center of Xiletu Kulun Zasakda Lama Banner under the system of political and religious integration in the Qing Dynasty. This group of temples integrates Mongolian, Tibetan, and Han styles and is one of the more complete Gelugpa temple complexes in Inner Mongolia.
The three major temples of Kulun are located in the central street of Kulun Town, Kulun Banner, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, covering an area of about 30,000 square meters. After the Qing Shunzhi six years (1649), Xingyuan Temple was built, and the emperor of Shunzhi gave the "Xingyuan Temple" Mongolian, Han and Tibetan three bodies. Qing Kangxi nine years (1670), in the east of Xingyuan Temple to build "Xiangjiao Temple". Qing Qianlong seven years (1742), built "Fuyuan Temple", since then, successive lamas have been built to varying degrees, retained to date, has a history of more than 370 years. The Kulun flag is the only real administrative and religious unity of the Lama flag in Inner Mongolia during the Qing Dynasty, and is a religious "holy place" advocated by the Mongolian people. The three major temples in Kulun are a group of buildings of the Gelu school that integrate the Mongolian, Tibetan and Han styles, which have high historical, scientific and artistic values and have profound national cultural connotations. Among them, Fuyuan Temple is a religious activity place, Xingyuan Temple and Xiangjiao Temple are the functions of cultural relics museums. In December 2010, the three major temples in Kulunqi were officially approved by the National Tourism Administration as a national 4A-level tourist attraction.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A feast for nature and soul If the grasslands are the poetry of the earth, then the Horqin Grassland is its most heartfelt and moving chapter. This three-day trip completely redefined my understanding of vastness and freedom. Scenery: Pristine and magnificent, perfect for all seasons Although I'd heard of desertification in Horqin, I was still struck by its majesty upon seeing it in person. An endless green carpet stretched to the horizon, dotted with herds of cattle and sheep like scattered pearls. We arrived in August, when the grasslands are at their peak lushness. Wildflowers abounded, and the air was filled with the fragrance of grass and earth. In the evening, sitting on the grassy slopes, watching the sunset melt into gold, the evening breeze caressing my face, created a sense of tranquility and exhilaration that the city can never offer. Experience: Authentic and enriching Horqin is a must-do, charged by the hour, with instructors providing safe and reliable guidance. From a slow walk to a trot, feeling the thrill and freedom of horseback riding is truly exhilarating. In the evening, we attended a bonfire party. The enthusiastic Mongolian girls and boys sang and danced, and we joined in the fun, creating a lively atmosphere. We also tried archery and grass skiing. The diverse activities are perfect for the whole family. Accommodation and Dining: Immersive Grassland Life We stayed in a yurt within the scenic area. While the facilities were simpler than a hotel, the unique experience of lying in a yurt, listening to the wind and gazing at the stars, was absolutely worth it. The food was especially delicious. The hand-pulled meat was juicy and tender, and dipped in wild chive sauce, it was incredibly fragrant. The milk tea was rich and mellow, and the milk tofu had a unique flavor. Before leaving, I even bought a few bags of authentic Khorchin beef jerky, said to be "Genghis Khan's military rations." The meat was firm and chewy, with a savory and sweet aftertaste, making it a perfect souvenir. Transportation and Travel Guide: We recommend driving yourself or chartering a car from Tongliao City for more flexibility. The grasslands are vast, and the attractions are scattered, so having a car is crucial for enjoying the area to its full potential. Major attractions like Zhurihe Grassland and Xiaozhuang Manor require an entrance fee (50-100 yuan), but most grassland areas are free. Tips 1. Sun and Mosquito Protection: Ultraviolet rays on the grassland are extremely strong, so be sure to bring high-factor sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. Insect repellent is essential in summer, as mosquitoes are numerous. 2. Temperature swings are significant: It can be hot during the day, but cooler in the mornings and evenings, so be sure to bring a warm jacket. 3. Respect Customs: Observe etiquette when entering a yurt, and ask for permission before photographing herders or livestock. 4. Book in Advance: Accommodation is limited during the peak season (July-August), so be sure to book a yurt or resort in advance. Overall, the Horqin Grassland may not boast the stunning scenery of Hulunbuir, where the wind blows the grass low and reveals cattle and sheep, but it possesses a more rugged and authentic beauty, as well as a rich historical and cultural heritage (including the hometown of Empress Xiaozhuang and the Qing Dynasty royal palace). This is a journey that allows you to put down your phone, return to nature, and experience the true nature of life. Highly recommended for all travelers who yearn for the grassland!
I have to give a thumbs up to my hometown. It should be best to go there in September, which is neither too cold nor too hot. I once dreamed of traveling around the world with a sword, visiting different places, and appreciating different scenery and culture. [Scenery] The environment is very good, the service is also very thoughtful, and there will be professional guidance🐂🍺 [Scenery]
