Winding clear and abundant streams, lush forests, white waterfalls hanging high, fresh grass, red houses scattered in between, and characteristic wooden churches, this is a small town called Flem. In September 2013, I traveled to Northern Europe by train from Oslo to Myrdal, and then took a 1-hour scenic train to arrive. Finally, I stayed for 2 nights. It rained that day, and white fog filled the mountainside, like a holy wonderland. The next day, the sun was shining brightly. I rented a car and rode on the road of the green mountains and countryside. There was a train passing through the forest. Except for the birdsong and the gurgling stream, no other sound could be heard. There are apple orchards in front of the beautiful villas of every household. There are 10 routes for cycling and hiking. It is a must-visit stop for the epitome of Norway.
