I went to the museum on a whim. The ticket purchasing experience was excellent, as you could use the tickets as you went, and the price was better than at the venue. The museum isn't large, but the exhibits are well-designed, with a great combination of audiovisual equipment. In the Aboriginal exhibition area, each exhibit has a text description, pictures, and videos showing how it's used and what it's like to experience life. These made it easier to understand the purpose of the exhibits and learn more about Aboriginal life. There were also various props for experiencing the exhibits. I happened to catch an insect dance activity when I went, and a large group of children were happily singing and dancing in the lobby on the first floor.
