A highly valued 5A scenic spot with a wealth of attractions and numerous cultural relics. Conveniently located in the heart of the city, it's a must-see and internet-famous attraction.
Our first stop in Northeast China was the Shenyang Palace Museum. I've been fascinated by it since I was a kid, and this time I finally got to check it out. It was the end of summer vacation, so the crowds were much smaller than usual, but the experience was quite enjoyable. There were so many interesting things to see and learn about, and I really enjoyed it.

Looking at the museum's history and interior architecture, it's truly impressive. The several attractions included in the package are all nearby, making it easy to walk. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The coin museum's diverse collection of coins and history is worth a look.
The Young Marshal was truly remarkable! A hero of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. This luxurious residence, with its wooden furnishings, exudes luxury and rich history. It was perfectly suited for living, harboring mistresses, working, meeting friends, and even hosting exhibitions. It's well worth a visit.

A Trip to Liugong Island The trip to Liugong Island was unforgettable! Tickets for an elderly and a child were affordable, with adults paying 120 RMB. This island, steeped in the history of the First Sino-Japanese War, boasts both the profound remnants of the Beiyang Fleet and the natural beauty of a fusion of sea and sky. Taking my parents on a holiday to Liugong Island was a chance to relive history! Wandering through the Dingyuan Warship Memorial Hall, I could almost hear the sound of artillery fire from a century ago, and a surge of patriotic emotion welled up. As I recounted this history with my parents, I felt a deep sense of sadness. Climbing to the summit of Donghong Fort, I took in the vast expanse of blue waters, and the soaring seagulls added a vibrant touch. I asked for a photo opportunity! The island is shaded by lush greenery, with ancient buildings and modern exhibition halls complementing each other, and the service facilities are comprehensive. Even the midday sun was scorching, and after just an hour's walk, I was drenched! It offers a profound patriotic education while enjoying the tranquil island scenery. It is truly a destination that combines historical heritage with leisure. It is definitely recommended to tourists who like the combination of humanities and nature! If I have the chance, I will come again and walk around the island.

It's a pity that I didn't see the mirage, but as the place where the Eight Immortals were said to have lived, it is still worth a visit. As soon as you enter the park, you will see the Qi Jiguang Memorial Hall, which has a very detailed introduction and uses modern light and shadow animation to show the life of the national hero.
Order the entry tickets and cable rides passes on trip.com, scan the QR code to enter. It exceeded my expectations for this visit, there are so much to see and do inside the pavilion than what the picture shows or go with a tour group. Initially we were going to take a tour as it is our first time to ShangDong and not sure how easy to get around. I am glad that we decided to be adventurous. Once entering the park, you just follow the path and walk from one site to the other. Don’t let the height of the next scenery intimidate you, just take your time, hike a few steps and sit aside to rest then go again. You’ll be proud of yourself and appreciate the beautiful views that you won’t see by joining the tour. To take the cable, you enter another town by scanning the pavilion entrance QR code again. If you don’t want to take the cable ride, visiting that town is also scenic and hike up to the highest point, the Diamond Square.

The scenery is elegant and divided into several pavilions. I watched the performances of dolphins, sea lions and birds. It was very exciting. The scenic area signs were very clear, and there was a performance schedule at a glance. It was a very pleasant trip.
A must-visit place for tourists in Dalian, with complete facilities and many places to play. The fun cannot be compared with Happy Valley and Disney, and the venues are not too large. After all, you are going to see the sea, so you can't be too picky.

The guides were professional and enthusiastic, and the experience was truly beneficial. The vegetation within the site is rich and diverse, with vibrant colors that are truly pleasing to the eye. The art exhibition center boasts a wealth of stunning artworks. The detailed explanations and interpretations within the site further enhance the experience.
The Light of Life is a favorite for children. It tells the story of the origin of life, from blue algae to the birth of various organisms. It is very meaningful. After that, there are various activities for children to play.

We finished our day trip to Shanhaiguan and were very satisfied! We were scheduled to depart at 9:00 AM, but our driver, Li, arrived early at 8:40 AM. The car was clean and odor-free. He was responsible, meticulous, and sincere. The Qinjia cuisine he recommended was super delicious. It was a very pleasant chartered car trip!
It was a great travel experience. Shanhaiguan is also known as the No. 1 Pass in the World. Climbing up the Shanhaiguan Tower and overlooking the entire city, you will feel like a single man guarding the pass against ten thousand.

It's a great place for children, as it's very interactive. However, each interactive step requires an additional fee, such as feeding giraffes, capybaras, and seals. You can buy apples, bananas, carrots, and chicken necks in advance at the Jiajiayue Supermarket in parking lot 5. They're quite expensive there, but staff won't let you feed them, so you'll have to do it secretly. It's not recommended for the elderly, or to take the sightseeing bus the entire way, but you'll miss many animals. There's a hill to climb right after entering the zoo, and then another hill to climb, which requires a lot of stamina.
I visited the Shendiaoshan Zoo during the summer vacation. Parking and Transportation: Parking is quite convenient, with several large parking lots and free parking. Activities: While there are many activities available, the prices are reasonable. For example, feeding the animals costs about 20-30 yuan per portion, which is similar to other zoos. The magic carpet ride is also affordable and worth a try. Drinks and snacks are slightly more expensive than outside, but are typical for scenic spots. Tips: The entire route is one-way, and the amount of hiking and walking is quite intense, so be prepared if you're traveling with young children. Going there during the summer vacation meant I was often pushed around by the crowds, but overall the experience was quite good. There's a wide variety of animals here, and you can interact with many of them up close, like feeding giraffes and touching elephant trunks. The kids had a blast. Overall, while it can be crowded during the summer, it's still worth a visit if you want to get up close and personal with the animals.

The zoo is uniquely built into the mountainside, and the many feeding activities are quite interesting. I was especially surprised to see the elephants catching food with their trunks. The price of 20 yuan per serving is quite reasonable. Entering from the south gate and exiting from the north gate, you can take the cable car to enjoy the beautiful view of the cross-sea bridge. The cable car is less crowded and has shorter lines than the vegetarian car from the Lotus Mountain Observation Deck.
It was a really great experience... Here's my guide: I took the cable car from the South Gate to the North Gate (the advantage is no lines, the disadvantage is you have to turn your head to see the ocean, which is a pain in the neck). Then, after entering through the North Gate, I bought a ticket for the train. I could get off at each park and then wait for the next train to continue. I continued all the way to the intersection of the captive and free-range areas, took the elevator down to the free-range area, and then skipped the train ticket. I could just stroll around and see the tigers, bears, giraffes, and more. It was a relaxing experience! Finally, I visited the Panda House and the Small Animal House, and that was a perfect end to my trip!

As a frequent traveler, the only thing I recommend about Xianluo Island is the sea cable car. This suspended, non-enclosed gondola ride is incredibly thrilling, with the sea breeze caressing your face and the vast expanse of turquoise waters, making it well worth a try. However, Xianluo Island itself isn't worth exploring; it's a small area and the attractions are relatively old. The island's conch museum isn't particularly impressive, but there are plenty of parking lots nearby, making it relatively convenient.
The island is small, and the details are beautiful to be discovered. It's just crowded, so you can take a boat to get to the island faster. I didn't take any photos or videos when I got off the island. I could have found more places to take photos.
