2. The environment upgrade is thoughtful
The new decoration style combines the elements of the old city of Wenzhou with the modern and simple style. The wooden tables and chairs and warm light chandeliers create a warm atmosphere. - ✔️ The shop isn't large! But it has two floors! The second floor feels a bit cramped.
✔️ The food display area is incredibly tempting! All sorts of snacks and braised dishes... I wanted to try them all! The beef offal series is all weighed.
✔️ There's nothing particularly fancy about the decor! But it looks clean and hygienic.
- 🍃 Beef Offal Noodles: The signature dish! The portion size was a pleasant surprise. It was topped with beef offal! Very chewy! The saltiness was just right! I especially liked the beef tendon.
The broth was rich and flavorful! The noodles were very smooth! I couldn't stop slurping them down!
🍃 Braised Beef Ribs: Beef ribs with some tendon are tastier! The braised dishes were very flavorful. The lean parts were a little dry, so you can dip them in their sauce.
🍃Braised Bullfrog: The bullfrog was slightly spicy! The leg meat was quite tender.
It was a bit tougher than the braised bullfrog from hot pot restaurants, probably because it was cold.
🍃Braised Quail: This quail had a cured meat flavor, so it didn't have much meatiness.
But it's perfect with drinks! The dried flavor is stronger than dumplings! It gets more fragrant the more you chew.
- These quail shops with their lively, down-to-earth atmosphere are always such hidden gems! The best part is the price-performance ratio! A bowl of noodles with braised dishes late at night is so comforting!
