Visiting West Lake is quite economical and convenient. It's a great weekend getaway for the kids. After enjoying the lake, there are plenty of places to eat nearby (like crab roe noodles), so you can have a good time and head home without affecting your plans or work the next day. (If you have enough time, there are also many other attractions nearby, and you can usually find them all on a map.)
To visit Lingyin Temple, you must purchase a ticket for the Feilai Peak scenic area. However, there are no package deals available inside; even if you do get a package deal, you still have to wait for a tour guide. It's suggested that a package deal option be added, since Lingyin Temple is a must-see when visiting Hangzhou; it's unlikely someone would go to Feilai Peak without visiting Lingyin Temple.

Although it's a completely man-made scenic area, it has a fantastic atmosphere, making it ideal to visit in the afternoon. Stroll leisurely through the valley, take beautiful photos of the charming spots, then watch performances at one of the small squares. Afterwards, enjoy the food at the snack street, relax, and wait for the lights to come on – photos taken then will have a completely different feel.
The best time to go is around 3 or 4 pm. You can walk around for a while and then it gets dark. The most beautiful scenery is at night, when the lights are brilliant and you can feel the peace and prosperity of the country.

The autumn scenery is absolutely stunning and well worth experiencing. However, given the limited overall area of the village, it is recommended that the service providers implement some measures, such as dynamically controlling the number of visitors. Based on the optimal capacity of the scenic area, they should provide early notifications and reminders to control the number of visitors entering the park. Otherwise, excessive visitor flow will negatively impact the overall experience.
The room is clean, tidy, and spacious. The mountain views from the window are breathtaking. The room is equipped with smart features, including air conditioning and a heated bathroom, ensuring comfort during your autumn stay. It's also a great choice for working travelers.

Strolling along the elevated walkway amidst uniquely shaped pines and rocks, one can't help but appreciate the wonders of humankind. Actually, I think there's no need for a timed itinerary; there are always surprises around the corners, and limiting yourself only makes you miss the beauty around you. A day is enough if you go up the mountain early.
The scenery is beautiful. I recommend planning your trip and buying tickets in advance. When you arrive at the scenic area entrance, you need to get a number for the cable car. We arrived at 9:30 and waited for more than half an hour before we could get on the cable car. There were so many people.

There are direct tourist buses from Shanghai to Putuoshan, departing from Nanpu Bridge and arriving at Zhujiajian Wharf in 4.5-5 hours. Surprisingly, the weather was still very hot on a November weekend, and the Putuoshan wharf was packed with people. The entire island was teeming with tourists; the off-season was anything but quiet. The South China Sea Guanyin statue was full of worshippers, and Fayu Temple was incredibly crowded. The bus from Fayu Temple to Puji Temple had a one-hour wait. Even after dark, Puji Temple was still teeming with tourists. I never imagined Putuoshan tourism would be so booming.
Putuoshan Scenic Area - Highly Recommended The title "Buddhist Kingdom by the Sea" is truly well-deserved! Upon arrival, the sea breeze carries the scent of incense; the morning bells and evening drums of the three major Zen temples soothe the soul; the majestic Guanyin statue of the South China Sea inspires reverence. The soft, moss-covered sands of Qianbu Beach, ancient camphor trees providing shade, and the cliff carvings imbued with Zen wisdom—every step reveals a scenic view. The vegetarian cuisine is fragrant, the guesthouses tranquil, and the scenic area is well-ordered. Here, mountains and sea coexist, faith and poetry thrive; a visit here heals all restlessness and is worth returning to again and again!

Enter Song City once, and you'll dream of a thousand years ago; elegance fills the Qiantang River. Immersed in the Song Dynasty spirit, the city boasts magnificent scenery; the charm of Hangzhou Song City is boundless.
Reviews of Hangzhou Songcheng are polarized. Positive reviews mainly focus on the performances and immersive experiences, while negative reviews primarily target ticket prices and some attractions. Here's a detailed breakdown: • Positive Reviews ◦ Spectacular and Stunning Performances: "Songcheng Eternal Love" is the core highlight of the scenic area, hailed as one of the "World's Three Great Shows." Its stage effects are explosive, utilizing lighting, sound, and dry ice special effects to deliver a powerful visual impact. ◦ Strong Immersive Experience: The scenic area is built in the style of the Song Dynasty, featuring bustling streets, alleyways, and numerous NPCs. Visitors can interact with them, participate in activities such as throwing embroidered balls for marriage, and street performances, feeling as if they have traveled back to the Song Dynasty. ◦ Abundant Activities: In addition to "Songcheng Eternal Love,"...

Worth a visit! I happened to be there during the nationwide free admission for primary and secondary school students, so I enjoyed the scenery. Shenxianju (Immortal Abode) is like a fairyland. Climbing the South Heavenly Ladder via the escalator offers panoramic views, a rare find in China. My phone battery died from taking so many photos. The staff were incredibly helpful and assisted with processing my discounted ticket – truly fantastic!
🌟 Shenxianju, a place of breathtaking beauty! 🌄 Every step reveals a new vista, as if you've stepped into a fairyland. 💫 With its lush mountains and clear waters, it's a place of tranquility and peace. Come explore with me! 🍃 #Shenxianju #Picturesque #TravelSpot #Tranquil #ExploreTogether

Life is a book of islands, composed of 126 islands and 702 reefs, known as "a thousand reefs and a hundred islands." Main Island Area: Haitan Island, the main island, covers approximately 267 square kilometers, making it the largest island in Fujian Province and the fifth largest island in China. Geographical Location: It faces the Taiwan Strait to the east, only about 68 nautical miles from Hsinchu, Taiwan; to the west, across the Haitan Strait, it faces Changle, Fuqing, and Putian in Fujian Province. Climate Characteristics: Subtropical maritime climate, with mild winters and cool summers, and abundant sunshine. However, typhoon activity is relatively frequent. Core Landscapes: Coastal erosion landforms (such as Banyang Stone Sail and Fairy Well), beaches (such as Tannan Bay and Haitan Bay), ancient stone houses, and the Blue Tears spectacle.
Pingtan Island, gently caressed by the waves, captivates the world with its tranquil beauty. Whether it's the rippling turquoise waters or the golden rays of sunlight on the beach, the island exudes a captivating radiance. Pingtan Island's beauty is a treasure gifted by nature, waiting to be explored and discovered.

We took Line 1 to visit four islands and spent most of the day there. It was foggy in the morning, so the view of the Thousand Islands from Meifeng Mountain wasn't very clear. The weather cleared up around noon, and the scenery was exceptionally beautiful! The lake and sky blended seamlessly, with blue skies, white clouds, and a clear blue sky.
Only Huangshan Peak is worth visiting; the others can be skipped if you're short on time. Boarding the boat is done by swiping your ID card, while the cable car requires scanning a QR code. The scenic area is relatively quiet and less crowded; I didn't see any tour groups. The boats themselves are mediocre, and the toilets smelled terrible—not as good as the boats on the central lake.

Order tickets for any two scenic spots you choose: Qin Palace first, then Along the River During the Qingming Festival. The imperial landscape is absolutely breathtaking! Stepping into the Qin Dynasty is a truly magnificent experience; you'll immediately feel that the ticket price was well worth it!!
If you're a c-drama enthusiast this place will be your heaven!!! Every spot is literally a photo spot and the NPCs made the attractions even more fun!! Guangzhou street/ Hong Kong street and 清明上河图 has the most activities if you ask me. But I prob snapped the most photos at Qin Palace cos that's where bulk of the dramas are filmed at! The crowd at the attractions are def lesser (or maybe it's the season we went) compared to Shanghai Disneyland etc. the place is HUGE, so you won't feel it's overcrowded at any point.
