Seeing is believing. The Wuzhou Grottoes from the Northern Wei Dynasty are over a thousand years old and it's not easy to preserve them to this day. I went there during the summer vacation and there were too many people, which affected my experience.
The congestion before entering the scenic area and the long walk back to the parking lot will give you some experience, but after entering the scenic area, you will still be diluted by the strong historical atmosphere. The cool weather in the off-peak season is more suitable for a leisurely tour.

The scenic spot itself is not big but it is worth a visit. There is a small car next to the parking lot to take you to the scenic spot. It is not tiring at all. It is also nice to take pictures in the scenic spot. The explanations in Douyin are also very shocking while watching and listening.
This is one of the more scenic spots in Shanxi that's perfect for strolling. Overall, it's much more pleasant than Mount Wutai and Yanmen Pass. I don't like Mount Wutai because the transportation is so inconvenient. If you're looking for ancient architecture in Shanxi, just visit the Wooden Pagoda, the Hanging Temple, and the Huayan Temple. There's no need to visit Yungang...

Luggage storage at the Hanging Temple is inconvenient. Taxis only go to the entrance, and you still have to walk over a kilometer to the visitor center with your suitcase. I recommend leaving your luggage at the Hengshan Visitor Center or at your hotel and taking a taxi there. For those visiting Hengshan and the Hanging Temple, I recommend buying a shuttle bus for 20 yuan per person. However, for those who don't visit Hengshan and only want to visit the Hanging Temple, the service is less friendly. Taxis won't let you into the parking lot, even if it's empty. The parking lot is about 500 to 600 meters from the visitor center, which is quite uncomfortable with your suitcase. I recommend setting up luggage storage at the entrance. Alternatively, you can get a round-trip ticket from Hengshan to the Hanging Temple for a cheaper price, as not everyone wants to visit Hengshan.
I am very satisfied with the management of the scenic area. It is very orderly and there is no traffic jam when entering and exiting. It feels great in all aspects. Generally speaking, it is very good and cautious. It is indeed very shocking and good.

Children are free of charge, and people over 60 are also free of charge. The round-trip cable car is 50 yuan. We caught up with the heavy rain, and the scenic spot gave us raincoats. We passed directly without ticket inspection. It is a responsible scenic spot.
For city kids, the desert is still fun. The projects inside are very good, but the queue time is a bit long and it rained heavily in the desert. Otherwise, we could have played for a while longer, so we were forced to close the business.

With over 400 years of history, Hohhot's Dazhao Temple (also known as the "Wulian Temple" or "Silver Buddha Temple") is one of the most famous Tibetan Buddhist temples in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. Construction began in 1579, the seventh year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty. The plaque hanging at the gate reads, "The First Spring of the Nine Frontiers." Legend has it that Emperor Kangxi bestowed this plaque upon the spring, which his horse had discovered was sweet. I only dared to check in at the entrance, wearing traditional princess clothing. Once inside, I respected the temple's history and culture. [Namaste]
Overall, it's worth a visit, as it's one of the landmarks of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. Dazhao Temple (Wuliang Temple in Chinese, Yikzhao in Mongolian) is a Gelugpa monastery in Yuquan District, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. Founded in 1579, the seventh year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty, it is renowned for its "three unique wonders": its silver Buddha statues, dragon carvings, and murals. In 2006, it was designated a National Key Cultural Relic Protection Site and is now a National 4A-level tourist attraction. Construction was overseen by Altan Khan, leader of the Tumed tribe of Mongolia, and completed in 1580. It is the oldest Yellow Sect monastery in Hohhot and is known as the "First Zhao" (Mountain South). During the Qing Dynasty, due to the residence of Emperor Kangxi, it was revered as an "imperial temple" and the system of reincarnated Living Buddhas was abolished, making it one of the few temples in Mongolia without a Living Buddha. These three unique treasures are worth a visit.

I entered the scenic area from the South Gate and left from the South Gate after using various means of transportation. I bought a pass, but didn't have time to see the Aobao meeting. The whole journey took about four hours, which is highly recommended.
The scenery is super beautiful, the air is super good, very cool, you can ride a horse to feel the summer wind and let yourself go. It is worth a visit, eat the meat of the hand, drink milk tea, it is a worthwhile trip,

Huayan Temple in Datong, located at No. 459, Xiasipao Street, Pingcheng District, Datong City, Shanxi Province, was built in the seventh year of the Chongxi reign of the Liao Dynasty (1038 AD). It was named after the Buddhist classic "Avatamsaka Sutra". It is one of the earliest and most well-preserved Liao and Jin Dynasty temple complexes in China, and is also one of the eight remaining Liao Dynasty temples in China.
In addition to several free attractions in Datong Ancient City, the most beautiful one is Huayan Temple, with exquisite murals, statues of people, and the Huayan Underground Palace to visit. There is also the famous Oriental Venus.

If you have faith, go to Mount Wutai. If you like taking photos, go to Mount Wutai. If you hike, you must climb to the Big Snail Peak. Climb the 1,008 steps to see all the other mountains. The mountain is in the clouds, the temple is in the mountain, and you are in the temple.
🌿 August Zhangzhou Wutai Mountain Travel Review 🌿 1️⃣ The climate is pleasant, the summer resort Wutai Mountain has a high altitude, and the average temperature in August is between 10℃-20℃, and the maximum temperature rarely exceeds 25℃. It is a great choice for summer summer in North China. 2️⃣ The Buddhist culture is deep as the head of China's four famous Buddhist mountains, and Wutai Mountain has a rich Buddhist cultural heritage. Xiantong Temple, Tayuan Temple, Bodhisattva Ding and other temples have a long history and magnificent architecture, which is a good place to feel Buddhist culture. 3️⃣ Wutai Mountain is composed of a series of mountains and peaks. The top of the five platforms has a wide view and spectacular scenery. Dongtai Wanghaifeng can watch the sunrise and clouds. Beitai Yedoufeng is the highest peak in North China, and it has snow all year round. 4️⃣ Convenient transportation from Taiyuan Wusu Airport by bus to Wutai Mountain Scenic Area, about 3 hours by car; from Beijing Liuliqiao by long-distance bus, about 5 hours by car, convenient transportation. 5️⃣ Rich activities - Tour to Taiwan: You can choose to walk five Taiwans, the whole journey is about 50 kilometers, it takes 2-3 days to experience a deep pilgrimage. - Zen beauty hotel: The top of the mountain temple can hang orders to stay and experience the temple life; there are many Zen homestays to choose from at the foot of the mountain. 6️⃣ Practical Tips - Tickets: 135 yuan in peak season, 118 yuan in off-season, half price for students and the elderly. - Accommodation: It is recommended to book in advance, especially in peak season. - Food: The price of food and beverages in the scenic area is high, it is recommended to bring some dry food and water. 🌟 In summary, Wutai Mountain is a place that integrates natural scenery and Buddhist culture. Whether it is summer vacation, pilgrimage or hiking, it can meet your needs.

Accompanying my parents to visit Yanmen Pass, the profound sense of history washed over us as we stepped into the scenic area. Climbing the majestic gate tower, we looked out over the vast expanse of mountains and the winding Great Wall.
The overall attraction isn't large. The Great Wall is beautifully constructed, but the cultural attractions need improvement, and the historical depth is lacking. The scenery is beautiful, and parking is very convenient. The cultural street offers a wide variety of snacks, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other attractions, especially compared to the Wutai Mountain Scenic Area. Overall, it's highly recommended. The tour takes about two hours, a moderate amount of time.

The scenery was truly stunning, as we climbed up Mount No. 5. Go-karts were available for a fee, and we negotiated down to 180 yuan for two. It was a steal, much cheaper than the Huitengxile Grassland. Karting on the prairie felt like off-roading.
You can rent space suits here for 50 yuan, for an unlimited time. I heard this is the peak season price, but off-season it might be 10 yuan, and children are free. Unfortunately, we couldn't make it during the off-season! The staff were very nice, though. They rented suits to everyone and helped everyone change into them, which saved us a lot of trouble!
