Jinci Temple, as the oldest existing royal sacrificial garden in China, boasts ancient buildings and thousand-year-old cypress trees, showcasing a unique northern garden charm. The Song Dynasty painted clay statues of maidens in the Holy Mother Hall are a masterpiece, and the ingenious structure of the Fish Pond Flying Bridge is a unique example of ancient bridge architecture. The Zhou Cypress and Tang Locust Tree, along with the Nanlao Spring, constitute the "Three Wonders of Jinci," and a stroll through the temple grounds allows one to feel a rich historical atmosphere. It is recommended to visit on a weekday morning to avoid peak tour group crowds and enjoy the interplay of light and shadow on the ancient buildings. The scenic area is quite large, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Remember to bring sun protection in summer and warm clothing in winter. For visitors interested in history and culture, it is recommended to learn about the relevant background information beforehand or rent an audio guide (20 yuan/time), which can greatly enhance the depth of the visit.
As expected of a national 5A-level scenic spot, it's steeped in history. The scenic area comprises Jinci Park and a museum. Jinci Park is free, and I happened to visit during its peak foliage season. Learning about history while enjoying beautiful scenery was a wonderful experience.

Beautiful area, not crowded on a Friday. We went to have our pictures taken for our Hanfu experience around sunset and walked around afterwards to enjoy the night scenery. Lots of people taking pictures around the northeast gate.
I originally hadn’t planed to visit this place but I’m really glad that I did. It was so magical with all the lights and installments. I haven’t visited the show, but saw a part of it from the other side. I will definitely come back again to see the show.

It was absolutely worth it! We only had time for the evening and morning sessions, but it was still great. We saw the iron flower performance and the "Three Attacks on Zhu Family Village" (a traditional folk art performance). Reservations are only available after entering the park. The night view is even more beautiful, the Bianliang boat tour is fantastic, and the chrysanthemum exhibition is absolutely stunning.
[Scenery] Beautiful scenery, complete facilities, a popular spot for social media check-ins, and the most down-to-earth amusement park in Kaifeng. [Fun] Various interactive activities and live performances are available. [Value for Money] Affordable prices, no hidden costs, and the food is the most affordable I've encountered so far.

A highly recommended place to visit! The actors' professional performances combined with stunning sound effects. The park has two restaurants with very reasonable prices and delicious food. One day is simply not enough to see everything; I suggest a 3-day or 2-day trip to explore at your own pace.

Strolling through the streets of Chang'an Twelve Hours, the melodious sounds of ancient music fill the air, the fragrance of sandalwood permeates the atmosphere, and exquisite Tang Dynasty handicrafts are on display everywhere, making it a place you'll want to linger.
Online reviews for "The Longest Day in Chang'an" are mixed, but I had a great experience. The set design and atmosphere are excellent, the actors in the immersive performance are very professional, and it's highly recommended [applause]. It's so much better than the crowded "Tang Dynasty Never Sleeps City" where you can't even see the actors.

Stepping into the Daming Palace Ruins Park, a restored Danfeng Gate stands in the spacious square, and the imperial road paved with blue bricks stretches into the distance. The ruins display areas on both sides use modern technology to recreate the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty.
It's quite large, but there are electric carts available inside, making it worth a visit for those interested in history. It's a pity that only ruins remain; it would have been quite impressive if they had been preserved.

A must-see for calligraphy and ancient book enthusiasts, this exhibition features many masterpieces whose works have survived for centuries, a testament to the advantage and significance of stone carvings. The tomb of Li Xiaohai is also included in one of the exhibition areas, highlighting its immense prestige at the time.
Today I went to the Xi'an Beilin Museum, and my emotions were like a rollercoaster ride. Now that I'm sitting down, I absolutely have to write down these complex feelings. At first, it completely exceeded my expectations. As soon as I entered, the guide's voice started talking about Confucius. I was a little surprised; I didn't expect it to start there. But as I listened, I found the opening very meaningful, as if it were starting from the roots of our culture. Then, the focus shifted to Buddhism. When those carved stone tablets, Buddha statues, especially the Tang Dynasty artifacts, appeared before my eyes, I was truly awestruck. The details of the carvings explained by the audio guide—the lines were so smooth, so full, and every stroke had meaning. The expressions on the Buddha statues' faces were so serene yet full of power. Standing there, watching the artisans of over a thousand years ago use their knives as pens to carve out faith and narratives, a strong sense of pride suddenly welled up inside me—our ancestors created such amazing things! Immersed in it all, three hours passed by in the blink of an eye, and I didn't feel tired at all. However, things gradually changed. The latter part of the exhibition mostly featured artifacts themed around calligraphy. I know calligraphy is a national treasure, an art form, and I told myself it was precious. But honestly, my interest waned considerably. The passion ignited by faith seemed to slowly cool. I began to feel that the museum's style was somewhat "polar"—on one hand, visually striking sculptures, and on the other, calligraphy requiring quiet contemplation. Personally, I lost motivation for the latter half. The Stele Forest Museum itself is also incredible, possessing its own unique charm. Finally, I must say that most of the staff here are exceptionally friendly. The cleaning ladies smiled and gave directions, the security guards were always ready to answer questions, and the ticket sellers and checkers were very gentle. These small acts of kindness made the entire visit feel warm and welcoming, and I felt particularly good. Unfortunately, this good mood was interrupted at the last moment. Around 1:00 PM, as I was preparing to leave and returning the audio guide, the younger guide on the left side of the counter seemed extremely impatient and her tone was agitated. I was momentarily stunned and completely bewildered. Was it because I had kept her from leaving work? Or had something unpleasant happened to her? This stark contrast left a small knot in my heart and a tinge of inexplicable resentment as I walked out of the museum. It was like a beautiful song, perfect at the beginning and middle, but the last note went off-key, diminishing the overall charm of the piece! Oh well, regardless, those artifacts, especially those from the Tang Dynasty, are now etched in my mind. As for that last bit of unpleasantness, let it go with the wind. Overall, it was still a wonderful day. (Ticket 85, audio guide 30)

I fell in love with Xi'an on my first trip there, and this show is definitely a must-see. There's also a haunted house, and people can take photos with the characters. Of course, there are also snacks available if you get hungry, although the taste isn't great. Overall, the show was very entertaining.
The Xi'an Qianguqing Scenic Area is clean and tidy, with beautifully landscaped gardens and small surprises everywhere. The Qianguqing performance was beautiful, exciting, and truly captivating. I'm still savoring the performance after returning home. The theater itself is also clean and tidy, with clear signage, so you don't have to worry about getting lost. There are also plenty of rest areas, so you can rest whenever you feel tired.

Fantastic performers, fantabulous experience and wonderful venues. The minus thing is the patrons of the locals some couldn’t keep quiet while watching
Absolutely stunning, grand scale, and a large cast and crew who all gave their all; the most worthwhile performance in Xi'an. However, the design of the stairs outside the main entrance is utterly incompetent and incredibly inconvenient. It's especially difficult for elderly people to navigate. Why not just have a parallel entrance instead of these long stairs? A truly idiotic design.

Taiyuan Botanical Garden has become a newly popular tourist attraction, largely thanks to its starry sky-top elevator observation deck. The three hemispherical tropical museums opposite, reflected in the water, resemble an alien base. Now that it's winter and the off-season, the crowds are concentrated here! You could easily spend a whole day here in the summer. There are electric shuttle buses and small electric cars available for rent, so it's not tiring for the elderly or children!
The botanical garden is large and boasts a rich variety of species. In winter, visitors can only view the exhibits inside the buildings, but during other seasons, the entire garden is open to visitors. I was fortunate enough to see the firefly exhibition this time, which was quite a nice way to relive childhood memories. It's truly amazing how such tiny fireflies can emit such bright light. The plants inside the exhibits are as beautiful as ever.
