I drove all the way to Xiangyang, checked into a good hotel and went out for a walk. I searched for this restaurant on Dianping. The reviews and praise rate were quite good. It was also a local restaurant, so I wanted to try it. It was relatively easy to find. It was on the fourth floor of Tianyuan Four Seasons City. You could see it when you went straight up. The storefront was not big, and the dining space was limited, which was a bit cramped. The waiters were very enthusiastic and took the initiative to seat and order food, which added points to the restaurant. There were many dishes, mainly local dishes, and the taste was great, which suited my appetite. The price was also very favorable, less than 60 per person. If you like Hubei cuisine, you can choose here. It feels delicious and affordable to me. I recommend it!
First of all, the service is very enthusiastic. Secondly, there are a lot of free porridge, rice wine dumplings, drinks, side dishes and snacks. The local hanging pot chicken is very chewy. If you are an elderly person, it may be a little difficult to chew.

Duck Lip King Gulou Store. Their braised duck head is very fragrant, spicy and very addictive.
This is an old shop that has been open for many years and is worth recommending!

The taste is very delicious, the meat is very tender, and the spicy taste is very good.
1. Cao Yu Park Environmental Experience: The park is shaded by trees and features a clear lake, perfect for strolling and taking photos. "Enjoy the breeze by the lake, chat with friends, and the shimmering water." Cultural Highlight: The Cao Yu Memorial Hall, open to the public free of charge, has a small, accessible first-floor exhibition hall that's practically private, though some facilities are undermaintained. Note: The lotus blossoms are best enjoyed in summer, but the museum closes after dark. The park is relatively small, making it suitable for short trips. 2. Eco-Lobster City Landmarks: The world's largest lobster sculpture and the free lobster museum feature a captivating light show, with "overhead shots" offering a visual impact. Dining Experience: Braised prawns and marinated shrimp are available, and Shrimp King Restaurant recommends "the red oil isn't spicy, but fragrant." Photo Gallery: The sculptures and themed streets are perfect for photo ops, but the lines for the ice houses can be long, so avoid peak hours. 3. Fanwan Lake National Wetland Park Cycling: Rent a bicycle and cycle around the lake (30 yuan/hour). Enjoy lotus blossoms from May to June, and migratory birds from September to October. "A gentle breeze caresses the reeds, and egrets dance in the air." Free admission: Boat tours cost 40 yuan/30 minutes. The floating boardwalk is best enjoyed from June to August, and the bird-watching tower offers birdwatching from November to February. Photo ops: The lake and islands embrace, and lotus blossoms bloom, making for breathtaking forest-like photos. "The scenery is breathtaking, with the lake and mountains in full bloom." 4. Zhanghua Terrace Historical Heritage: The ruins of King Ling of Chu's imperial palace, dating back 2,500 years, boast high archaeological value for Chu culture and are known as the "World's Greatest Terrace." Experience the site: From the rammed earth platform, overlook the farmland, and combine with the museum's panoramic view to experience its vicissitudes and splendor. Note: This visit requires a museum visit; the experience of the site alone is limited, so a combined visit is recommended. 5. Qianjiang Museum Free Admission: No reservations are required; simply register at the entrance. Admission is free (please note that some closing times apply). Exhibition Highlights: "A niche yet stunning! The Warring States lacquerware exhibition hall was completely booked out." The new museum design is even more impressive. Collection Status: Some collections have been handed over, leaving a relatively small number of artifacts. "Not many collections (probably all handed over, hahaha)." 6. Metasequoia Garden Environmental Experience: Fresh air, few people, quiet, perfect for photography and relaxation. "The air is fresh, and you can even go boating and enjoy the scenery." Photo Results: The lush greenery of the Metasequoia forest provides excellent photo results. "Photos in Metasequoia Garden are truly stunning!" Precautions: Snake warning signs are posted in some areas, so please exercise caution. 7. Longwan Ruins Historical Heritage: The ruins of King Ling of Chu's summer palace, known as the "First Terrace in the World," are the best-preserved remains of a Chu palace. Ticket Information: Museum admission is 50 yuan per person, free with an annual pass, and all other areas are free. Highlights: Free photo opportunities with Chu costumes. During the National Day holiday, there will be intangible cultural heritage exhibitions and special snacks. 8. Plum Garden Cultural Experience: Plum Garden is centered around Cao Yu culture, featuring a memorial hall and former residence, perfect for learning about the life of the father of Chinese drama. Photo Spot: The Endless Summer flowers are well-maintained, and even the most casual photos are stunning. "The owner saw us taking photos and helped us pick a few." Convenient Location: Close to Cao Yu Park, within walking distance. There's a shopping street where you can rest and refuel. 9. Cao Yu Memorial Hall Free Admission: No admission required. The exhibition features the manuscript of "Thunderstorm," making it a great spot for artistic young people. Cultural Experience: Learn about Cao Yu's life and dramatic achievements, and enjoy the museum's rich interactive multimedia exhibits. Photo Spot: The vintage window and Plum Garden gardens are perfect for capturing artistic photos. 10. Guanghua Metasequoia Park Photogenic: The Metasequoia forest's light and shadow effects are stunning, and in autumn, its golden and red leaves resemble an oil painting. The wooden plank road and the trees offer a chance to capture stunning photos. "The moment I walked in, I was blown away by the Metasequoia forest!" Few people, beautiful scenery: Hubei's largest Metasequoia park, uncrowded and perfect for photos and relaxation. "Without crowds, photos are still photogenic!" Childhood memories: A childhood memory for an oilfield child. The amusement facilities have been retired, but the tree-lined walkways are still a great way to spend time. #QianjiangTravel #WuhanTravelStrategy #ComeQianjiangEatShrimpKing
