After two days and one night of back-to-back hiking, the scenery was stunning: alpine meadows, blue skies, and clouds. Yuelu Mountain is not very high, so hiking enthusiasts can choose to hike to the summit. It's best to ascend through the East Gate and exit through the South Gate. If traveling by car, remember to buy a round-trip ticket, East Gate to South Gate. From the summit, you'll enjoy panoramic views of Orange Island, the Xiangjiang River, and Changsha's central business district. The South Gate is close to the Aiwan Pavilion and Yuelu Academy. Just outside the South Gate, you'll find the Hunan University snack street and the open-air campus, both well worth a visit.
The most beautiful scenery requires the right time and the right place.

The service attitude is not good. I booked it on Ctrip.com and it took a long time to confirm the boarding. The service provider said that they had never received orders from third-party platforms and complained why I couldn't buy it on the spot.
My visit to Orange Island was a bit disappointing, as I didn't enter until 10 p.m., so I missed many of the attractions. However, cruising the Xiang River at night was quite unique. The river breeze was pleasant, and the stroll was relaxing. I also saw Chairman Mao's statue, which made up for the small regret and left me with a unique memory of my night out.

Yesterday, I took the East Lake sightseeing bus for 40 yuan, and tried three routes round trip. My overall experience was disappointing, with two main issues:
1. The driver's service attitude lacked courtesy: Upon arrival, he didn't offer polite guidance, simply urging passengers to "get off the bus," lacking basic service awareness.
2. The speed of the bus affected the sightseeing experience: As a sightseeing bus, it should have slowed down to allow visitors to enjoy the scenery, but it drove too fast, rushing past the scenery and failing to meet the core needs of sightseeing.
I hope to strengthen driver training and adjust the driving pace to ensure that visitors can truly enjoy the sightseeing experience.

It's worth the experience. I went with my children. Adults are 120cm tall and children over 1.3cm tall are half price. After boarding the boat, there are many people on the deck and limited chairs. For a better experience, I upgraded the cabin and sat at the bow. There are free snacks and drinks. Adults are 88 and children are half price. The whole journey takes one hour.
I've been on the Two Rivers Night Cruise many times. Sitting on the top of the boat, feeling the gentle river breeze, is so refreshing! The night scene on both sides of the river is dazzling and colorful, it's really beautiful! I highly recommend it!

Baotong Temple was first built during the Liu Song Dynasty in the Southern Dynasties, with a history of more than 1,600 years. It is the oldest existing temple in Wuhan. It's worth a visit. The scenery may be beautiful in September and October. I went there in mid-May. It was just planted and not green yet.
You can drive to the scenic area by yourself. You can stop and get off the car at the viewing platform. There is not much shopping. There are a few villagers living there selling some specialties, but I really can't understand their speech.
The air is good, there are few people, and the experience is good!
There are food and drinks in the surrounding towns, which is more convenient.
The scenic area is very large, and you can only drive up the mountain by yourself. There is no shuttle bus or anything like that. If you have time and are not afraid of being tired, you can climb up the mountain. It is recommended to go up the mountain in the morning. If you go in the afternoon, the terraces will be backlit (I went in the afternoon, and it should be good to take pictures in the morning). The scenery is really good, and it feels only suitable for taking pictures and checking in. There are no other attractions. There are homestays and farmhouses on the mountainside. The scenic area is far from the city, so you can choose to stay for one night.
