If you haven't been there, you can go there once. It's fresh. If you bring your kids, it's best to get off the shuttle bus and pay for a tour guide to lead the way + explain. Otherwise, you won't know anything except looking at the stones.
It is worthy of being a 5A-level scenic spot and a national scenic spot. The scenic area has been built for more than a hundred years. Many Chinese and foreign celebrities have visited here. The scenery is beautiful and the air is fresh. Ashima is even more famous at home and abroad. It is worth a visit!

As the largest tropical botanical garden in Asia, it's definitely worth a visit. I didn't recognize many of the plants, which was quite unusual. You can also take a hot air balloon ride for a panoramic view, though it's a bit pricey.
The plant life is quite rich, but in October, not many plants are in bloom. The only fruit trees are full of grapefruit, which is very pleasing. We walked around the west area for about four hours instead of taking a car. It was very hot and sunny, so be sure to wear sunscreen.

The scenery is beautiful, the environment is pleasant, and there's an elephant show. It's connected to the Zong Buddhist Temple. The natural, historical, and cultural aspects are all excellent. Highly recommended.
It's worth checking out, it feels like being abroad! The 40 yuan ticket is very cost-effective. The scenic area is very large. The only pity is that there is no sightseeing bus service in such a large area. The explanation is also very professional. It's worth coming back next time!

The cable car has a dedicated parking lot, which is very convenient. There is a relay station in the middle, which is very interesting and worth recommending. You can see the entire Dianchi Lake and Xishan Mountain.
This is the most impressive cable car I've ever taken. Not only is the scenery stunning, but the cable car itself is also a fantastic experience. The cable car is very stable, but the speed is super fast, a bit like a roller coaster. Even for someone who is afraid of heights and cable cars, I found this ride super interesting! I went there during the National Day holiday, and the queues weren't as long as I'd imagined. There were 6 people in one cable car, and it wasn't crowded. I'd love to go again if I have the chance.

Parking is convenient. There is a large parking lot opposite the scenic area. You can take a battery car or walk to the scenic area. The most distinctive building is the Kaleidoscope.
The construction of the park is quite beautiful, and the 80 yuan ticket is acceptable, but the shuttle bus to the scenic area does not exceed 2km (about 1.5km) and charges 15 yuan one way and 20 yuan round trip based on population. It is really a bit outrageous. I hope the relevant departments can supervise it.

The garden is quite large and you can buy a 30 yuan hop-on hop-off shuttle bus. Maybe it was the off-season, so there were not many people in the garden. There were performances at different times, and we watched three performances, but overall it was okay.
I think the ethnic village is quite good. It allows you to experience the customs and practices of 25 different ethnic groups in one place, and the shell game is very popular with children. I hope the ethnic village will become more and more diverse, but there is one thing I suggest: the nightclub could be larger. It is very small. You can go through all four doors when entering, but only two doors when leaving. Our hotel is very close, but because we go out in different directions, it is difficult to get a taxi, so we walked for more than half an hour.

Cangshan Mountain is our alliance, Erhai Lake is our oath. How could you miss a trip to Dali without visiting Cangshan Mountain? I experienced the Gantong Cableway, which is truly the most classic route without being too tiring. I also visited Wanfo Temple and Jizhao Temple. The Qingbi Creek was absolutely stunning. It was a worthwhile trip!
I'm a bit overweight and hadn't originally wanted to hike, but my wife and kids wanted to, so we went along. Cangshan won me over with its charm. Our itinerary involved walking up the Gantong Cableway for nearly 4 kilometers of flat ground, then climbing over a thousand steep steps to the lower section of the Ximatan cableway. Considering the children hadn't yet tackled the upper Ximatan section (over 4,000 meters), the highest point of the entire trip was around 3,000 meters. We didn't experience any altitude sickness, but we took it easy. We even played mahjong and poker for over an hour at the rest stop in front of the Seven Dragon Maiden Pool, focusing on taking our time.
Also, Cangshan is very crowded during Golden Week. If you don't arrive at the Gantong Cableway entrance before 8:30 a.m., you'll inevitably encounter traffic jams and even longer lines at the cableway entrance (we arrived at the tunnel entrance at 8:20 a.m. and waited for half an hour before getting on the cable car). Perhaps Ximatan will be less crowded, but I'm not sure.

Yunnan's hospitality is ingrained in its DNA. It's so beautiful and fun! We happened to catch the Water Splashing Festival, and joining everyone in the fun was incredibly enjoyable! Dai clothing and water splashing equipment are available for sale nearby, and there's also plenty of delicious food to enjoy!
The Dai Park is quite large, with many Dai villages integrated into one. Be sure to plan your visit carefully, as you won't be able to visit many areas after closing time!
The dance performances inside were very professional, and there were many peacocks to take pictures of. We found a restaurant to have lunch, the food was pretty good, and it was not far to walk in. The atmosphere of the water splashing activity was very lively, and it was worth a visit.
