I booked this tour on Ctrip the day before the trip and it was excellent. The guide's explanations were excellent. The park is large, making the electric carts convenient for traveling with children and elderly. We saw many insects and stars during the night tour. For example, they explained which stick insects we could handle and which we couldn't. The explanations were humorous and lively, and the kids loved it. Kudos to the guides Xiaodao and Wangtianshu.
The scenery is very good. I asked for an explanation, otherwise I would not understand it at all. I learned a lot of knowledge about plants. The dancing grass is very interesting. The giant water lily has a weight limit. It is a pity that the child did not get to sit on the giant water lily.

Wild Elephant Valley is a bit far from downtown Xishuangbanna. We drove there, and while the parking lot wasn't very busy, finding a spot wasn't difficult. There's also a shuttle bus from the downtown visitor center, and round-trip tickets are quite affordable. While you can't see wild elephants in the Wild Elephant Valley, there are performances by trained elephants. These elephants have experienced the world and aren't afraid of people. The performances consist of just a few simple moves.
The main attractions in Xishuangbanna are definitely worth visiting, but if you go more than once, it won't be that interesting. Seeing wild elephants is practically impossible, with so many people walking around, the elephants will smell people from a distance and won't come over. But it's nice for city dwellers to take a walk and experience the natural world.

You have to buy a ticket that includes a shuttle bus. It's a long way to walk by yourself. There is no explanation on the ticket purchase page. You can only watch the peacocks flying at the foot of the mountain, and the rest are all on the mountain. After entering the door, sit in this restaurant by the river and you can watch the peacocks flying.
The scenery of the primeval forest is nice, there are primeval forests everywhere, and there are many physical examination projects. I watched the peacocks flying, experienced the Dai delivery, water splashing carnival, bamboo pole dance, etc. It felt good!

The park is large, but not many fun places to visit. Avoid the Lotus Pond train; it's too expensive and not worth it. Several attractions offer water splashing activities, but this one is the most crowded. Find a seat in advance, or else you'll have to pay 88 yuan per person to go up to the second floor. The shower and storage fees aren't worth it. The crowded and narrow aisles leading to and from the water splashing square are unbearable.
The Dai Garden is really worth the money. You must participate in the water splashing feast at the water splashing square. The speedboat at the border pier will definitely exceed your expectations. The undercover captain is a happy brother who is very good at creating an atmosphere. The 35-minute journey is simply exciting. It is especially recommended to bring boys to experience it.

Our guide, Mu Layou, was fantastic! He took us on a whirlwind of fun, including eating wild fruits and sour ants. He was incredibly strong, lifting us high and pushing us back down on the swings each time. It was incredibly thrilling. Afterward, he immediately arranged for us to eat. The barbecue, chicken, and fish were all delicious. It was a truly special experience!
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and discover nature on a hike in the Jinuo Mountain rainforest. The total distance is 5 kilometers, 2 kilometers by land and 3 kilometers by water. Along the way, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the rainforest's flora, fauna, environment, and ways of life. Dressed in a "savage costume," we experienced rainforest river tracing, high-altitude swings, tree abseiling, archery, and a rainforest feast, including sour ants and wild Sanya fruit (Banna's version of mangosteen). For families with young children (under 10 years old), we recommend booking a private tour with an experienced indigenous guide, who can provide one-on-one support for the children. Summary: Recommended family itineraries

How can there be a zoo with such a good value for money? It is exactly the feeling of going to the zoo when I was a child. The route is also very simple. You just need to follow one path and you can see all kinds of animals. It is worth the ticket price. I have brought my children here twice and it feels great.
It's a small park with a decent variety of animals. There are a lot of mosquitoes, it smells bad, and the monkeys are aggressive. Feeding the animals costs 20 yuan per basket. It's not very popular, and the facilities are a bit dated. You can reach the zoo entrance by walking through the Ethnic Culture Garden, which consists of just a monument.

If Xishuangbanna is the crown of nature, then the Xishuangbanna Tropical Flower Garden is the magnificent pearl on the crown. It is no exaggeration to call it a sea of flowers and a world of trees.
It was a very interesting study tour. I recommend it to children above elementary school age. If they are too young, they really won't understand. It was said to be an hour and a half trip, but it was actually more than two hours. The four-year-old child we went with couldn't even walk at the end. Also, children who are too young can't understand the teacher's explanation at all, because the teacher's explanation still requires some basic knowledge of insects. The teacher's explanation is very detailed, and there are professional photographers to take pictures for everyone. Although there are not many insects to see at night in this weather, we are still very lucky to see a gecko. The specimen classroom has orchid mantises and ghost stick insects.

The hike was fun and a truly unique experience. I especially want to give a shout-out to our guide, Xiaoqin, who was incredibly kind and patient. Not only did she take good care of the group throughout the hike, she also explained many of the unique plants found in the mountains. The grilled fish for lunch was also amazing, incredibly fresh and fragrant! I highly recommend Xiaoqin as your guide!
The Jinuo Mountain hike was an incredible experience! The guide was the soul of the trip! The rainforest exploration was filled with wild fun, and we got to know so many amazing plants and animals. The lunch was also delicious! We have to give a special shout-out to our guide, "Little Tit." She was absolutely adorable! Her enthusiasm was like a little sun, her explanations were lively and engaging, and she took care of everyone's safety along the way. She also shared many interesting stories and secrets about the Jinuo people. She was so caring and responsible! With her around, the entire trip was filled with joy and peace of mind. I highly recommend choosing Little Tit's tour; she'll make you fall in love with this rainforest! 💯

Our trip to Jino Mountain was a true treasure trove of our guide, 18 Xiaoye! He was incredibly professional and attentive throughout the entire trip. He not only brought the history and culture of the Jino people and the unique flora and fauna of the rainforest to life, but also proactively helped us keep an eye on road conditions and recommended authentic Jino cuisine. He patiently answered our questions and led us to many off-the-beaten-path, photogenic viewing spots. It was a truly memorable experience! I highly recommend him!
The tour guide was very gentle and took good care of us along the way. Recommended. It was a very good experience. You can definitely try it. It was okay after 4 kilometers. It was not particularly tiring. The various recreational facilities were very exciting.

The glory of the Party shines on the border, and the people of the border are loyal to the Party! This place is known as the "No. 1 Village in China and Myanmar" and is also one of the filming locations for the third season of "Where Are We Going, Dad?". It is about 300 meters away from the China-Myanmar border and is a particularly recommended check-in spot!
The scenery looks very good and the road is clean and tidy. The style of the stockade building is prominent and the temple is very distinctive! Close to the border with China and Myanmar, at the border monument, you can see the territory of Myanmar opposite through the barbed wire fence.
