Tianmen Mountain is still worth a visit, especially starting from Line A. The scenery along the way is charming. The slope of the cable car is still a bit high, some of which are 18 degrees. People who are afraid of heights are still a little scared. At that time, I was worried that the cable car would malfunction halfway as Douyin said. Fortunately, I arrived at the top of the mountain safely.
When I first saw the price of 278 yuan for the Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area stamps (including related items), I thought it was a bit high. But after experiencing it myself, I realized the expense far exceeded my expectations and was a true value.
The most breathtaking experience was the cable car ride, which spans over 7,000 meters and takes nearly 20 minutes. As the cable car slowly ascends, gradually rising from the lower reaches to the sky, the deep sea of clouds beneath us constantly shifts, and the magnificent scenery washes over us. Being there, you not only experience the beauty of nature but also truly admire the strength of China's "infrastructure madness"—this cable car project is undoubtedly one of the best in China.
The scenic area's elevators are also impressive. Seven elevators travel from top to bottom, efficiently transporting visitors one after another, eliminating the long hike and providing both convenience and energy.
Overall, the visual and emotional impact of the cable car through the sea of clouds and the convenience provided by the seven elevators make the 278 yuan ticket price a truly exceptional value, completely dispelling my initial concerns about the price.

Zhangjiajie National Forest is breathtaking, especially Yuanjiajie and Huangshizhai. Please note that one trip up a cable car counts as one single trip, and one trip down counts as one single trip. A three-cable elevator ticket only allows three rides on the cable car and one on the elevator. It's recommended to purchase multiple trips.
The scenery of Zhangjiajie really makes people feel the magic of nature. Standing on a high place and looking into the distance, your mood is very different. It is recommended to find a guide so that you can better view the scenery.

This trip to Fanjing Mountain was absolutely perfect.
I booked a timetable five days in advance on the official WeChat account. During those five days, I checked the weather forecast daily, and every day it predicted rain. I worried every day, afraid it would be a wasted trip and I wouldn't see anything.
It was still drizzling when I took the scenic shuttle bus, but it cleared up when I reached the summit.
The moment I saw the clouds and fog part, I was absolutely astonished. It was so stunning! I don't know how to describe my feelings at that moment.
I've traveled over 3,000 kilometers just for you.
If you're not very physically fit, definitely choose to enter and exit from the east, as there's a cable car both ways. From the high-speed rail station to Tongren, you'll need to take a direct bus or taxi to the scenic area, which takes about an hour. After entering through the east gate, you'll first take a 20-minute sightseeing bus to the cable car entrance, followed by another 15-minute cable car ride to begin the actual climb. Reservations are required for the Red Cloud Golden Summit, otherwise you won't be able to enter.

During the Spring Festival, there are many people going there. To avoid the crowds, you can choose to stay near the scenic area and go there in the evening or morning when there will be fewer people. The Miao village itself is quite large, and it is quite unique to climb up to a high place to see the panoramic view.
It takes about an hour to get to the North Gate of Miao Village by bus from Kaili South Station. If you like taking photos, you can go there. It is very photogenic and the night view is beautiful. The facilities are complete and it will be more comfortable to go there when there are fewer people in the off-season.

A must-see when visiting Chongqing is the Chongqing Zoo. It's completely different from your typical zoo; it's a comprehensive park: part park, part amusement park, and part zoo. The environment is fantastic, perfect for a stroll or a few boxing sessions. Interacting with all sorts of adorable animals during a stroll is a truly delightful experience.
To be honest, the zoo ticket is really worth it. There are so many animals in it, which is very suitable for children to play. Next time I come to Chongqing, I will definitely bring my children with me.

Hongyadong, officially known as the Hongyadong Folk Customs Area, is a tourist destination that combines sightseeing, leisure, and vacation activities. Located at 88 Jialingjiang Binjiang Road, Yuzhong District, Chongqing, it sits on the riverfront where the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers meet. It borders Jiefangbei, Cangbai Road, to the north and Binjiang Road to the south. Hongyadong boasts 11 stories, rises 79 meters, and covers a total area of 31,500 square meters. After liberation, Hongyadong was designated a Chongqing Municipal Cultural Relic Protection Unit and has become a major tourist attraction. In 2003, Hongyadong was officially demolished and rebuilt. In 2006, the Hongyadong Folk Customs Area was completed and opened in September of the same year. The scenic area features stilt houses, a replica of an antique commercial street, and Hongya Dicui. It also offers specialty restaurants, leisure and entertainment venues, and shops selling Ba-Yu folk crafts.
