This is a highly recommended place. The scenery is beautiful, and it feels like an authentic ancient village. There's also a small stream with lots of fish, which is very cool. You can wear slippers and go fishing in the stream. The temperature here is also a little lower than other places. Although it's summer and other places are reaching 37 degrees Celsius and feeling around 41 degrees Celsius, it didn't feel that hot here. Even though we went at noon, we didn't feel tired between 12 and 2 o'clock. Be sure to wear slippers when you go in the summer.
This well-preserved ancient village still uses the stream for washing, and people wash their dishes and clothes along the stream. Shopping is mainly for food and drinks, and prices are reasonable. The scenery is beautiful, with small bridges, flowing water, and houses, creating a pleasant atmosphere.

Visiting Taohuatan on August 24th was truly a treat! The waters sparkled with emerald green, and peach blossoms drifted down the shore. Standing at the ancient ferry crossing, you could almost hear the millennia-old chant of "Taohuatan's waters are a thousand feet deep." The ancient atmosphere was captivating, and every photo I took was filled with the poetic charm of the Jiangnan region. It's worth a special trip to experience this tranquility and romance.
It's really great! 1️⃣ Natural Scenery: The area boasts rolling hills, clear streams, and lush forests—each a masterpiece of nature. 2️⃣ Cultural Experience: The scenic area features several cultural exhibition areas, allowing visitors to enjoy the scenery while learning about local history and culture. 3️⃣ Leisure Facilities: With a children's play area, an open-air theater, and handicraft shops, there's something for everyone. 4️⃣ Foodie Guide: The scenic area boasts numerous unique restaurants and food stalls, perfect for savoring authentic local cuisine.

The exhibition hall's architecture is very distinctive, and the rice paper production process is also worth seeing. However, the air conditioning is not strong enough, it is too commercialized, and there are too few guide signs in the exhibition hall. It would be better if there were conspicuous and clear tour route signs.
The Xuan Paper Cultural Park is definitely worth a visit. I love its architectural style: a few white buildings amidst the green hills give it a refreshing feel! It also includes restaurants, cafes, cultural and creative shops, and a small shop, so you could easily spend a whole day there! We were a bit pressed for time, so we could only rush through to check in. I'd definitely go back if I had the chance!

It's just a public park. Apart from the nice environment, there's nothing else. It only attracts people by Li Bai's poems. The cost-effectiveness is not high at all. You definitely can't go there in the summer because it's too hot.
Jingting Mountain Scenic Area is quite large. We only went to a road up the mountain. The weather was too hot, so we took a tour bus to the halfway point of the mountain and then climbed half the way. It was not tiring at all. It was worth it to climb to the top of the mountain and overlook the beautiful scenery of the entire city!

In the landscape painting of Huizhou, Longchuan in Jixi stands like a hidden gem, quietly radiating the brilliance of time. This is Longchuan, a place of spiritual refuge. Once you step foot here, you'll be captivated by the boundless charm of Huizhou, a touch of antiquity and melodiousness that will never fade.
Jixi's most stunning scenic spot is here, a picturesque landscape with superb feng shui. Longchuan, Jixi, is a thousand-year-old village inhabited by the Hu clan. Founded during the Eastern Jin Dynasty, it boasts a history of over 1,600 years. The village is shaped like a boat, surrounded on three sides by mountains, with the Dengyuan River running through it. It's known as the "Dragon Boat Out to Sea." During the Song Dynasty, Hu Nianwu, the ancestor of the Hu clan in Longchuan, invited Lai Wenzheng, known as the "Earth Immortal," to design the village's feng shui. Lai Wenzheng transformed the village into a boat-like shape (crucially, he even hired a Ding family—a family that had only one male heir for a thousand years—to manage the wooden boat). He also changed the village's orientation from west-facing east to north-south, and opened up five north-south lanes, symbolizing the idea of "five sons passing the imperial examinations." He also suggested moving the Longchuan River north by 100 meters, directly facing Longfeng Mountain, and building the "Lingshan Temple" at the river's mouth to suppress evil and gather energy, creating a barrier at the mouth of the river where "two mountains enclose the water." This feng shui nurtured the grandfather of Hu Zongxian and Hu Jintao (see Figure 9, owner of "Hu Yuantai" during the Republic of China). The Hu Clan Ancestral Hall is worth seeing: hailed as "the greatest ancestral hall in Jiangnan" and a "museum of woodcarving art." Originally built in the Song Dynasty and expanded during the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty, the main wooden structure remains to this day (it's the largest ancestral hall I've ever seen, and its scale is truly extraordinary [grin]). The Yishi Shangshu Archway in the village: a representative Ming Dynasty stone archway, built for two Shangshu officials, Hu Fu and Hu Zongxian. The exquisite carvings make it a prime example of Huizhou-style stone carving. Ancient houses line Longchuan Water Street. The bluestone paving and cobblestones create a "dragon scale" pattern, echoing the "white phoenix granite" of Feng Street, creating a "dragon and phoenix auspicious" landscape. The village is surrounded by lush green mountains and the winding Dengyuan River. In spring, the rapeseed flowers complement the Huizhou-style architecture, while in autumn, the forests are ablaze with color.

Just looking at the scenery, I think it is worth a trip to the Southern Anhui Grand Canyon. It is so beautiful, hahahaha, and most importantly, there is enough water! You won't be unable to float
Cool rafting, a very good trip, suitable for many people to play together [Scenery] The mountain scenery is good, there are many green trees on both sides of the way, it feels very healing [Fun] The rafting process is very interesting, you can have a water fight with people you don’t know, it’s exciting [Value for money] Buy a coupon on the platform, you can get a discount of 20 hahahaha, remember to buy it in advance

It's worth going together, but there were too many people on the day. It's not recommended to go during the summer vacation or weekends. It's very uncomfortable to be stuck in the car. There are water fights when rafting, which is very interesting.
You can kayak twice a day. The bamboo rafting is stopped in hot weather, and the aerial drifting is also stopped. When the reservoir is released, the kayak will often run aground in places with less water. You must protect yourself from the sun. I got sunburned after I came back, and my skin hurt a lot. You really have to wear long sleeves and long pants, and apply sunscreen. You also have to buy a water gun, or the people on the shore will hit you.

The Huihang Ancient Road is worth experiencing for hikers who like hiking. The intensity is good, about 14 or 15 kilometers one way. The scenery of Nantianao is beautiful. The beginning and the last section have many steep steps, which is a test of physical strength and perseverance.
A well-established hiking route with plenty of refueling points along the way. You can hire a car to return to the starting point, but I personally find the round trip too tiring. The B&Bs are well-established, so I recommend Xiaoyao Mountain Villa. Stay one night, watch the sunrise, and then return. Perfect for a two-day weekend.

The amount of water this year is not much, which is enough for children to play in. When we came here yesterday afternoon, it rained heavily just after we got up the mountain, so we had to refund the ticket. We went up the mountain at around 9 o'clock this morning and played until around 12 o'clock when we got down the mountain.
Going upstream along the stream is fun and exciting. The water is incredibly clean (glass water). If it's cold, head to a sunny spot to play in the water. If you're not afraid of the cold, stay in the water. You can swim and try to catch small fish (though I didn't catch any). After two and a half hours of upstream play, I was exhausted. This is a highly recommended attraction. Remember to bring a change of clothes, swimming rings for children, and snacks to replenish your energy. Enter through the west entrance, then take the 10-yuan bus back to the west entrance parking lot at the east exit.
