The title of "Asia's No. 1 Waterfall" is truly well-deserved. It is magnificent and powerful, with a massive volume of water. Although its volume is far less than that of Niagara Falls and Iguazu Falls, which I've visited and are considered among the world's top waterfalls, it surpasses them in its ethereal beauty. Furthermore, the world's longest A-type escalator served both the upper and lower sections, making it a fitting addition to the Huangguoshu Waterfall experience.
Our tour guide, Ya Ya, was fantastic! She was very responsible and enthusiastic ❤️! She told us where to go for fun and where it would be most convenient to get around. I loved her and will definitely come back again!

Mount Emei, also known as Mount Emei[22], is a branch of the Qionglai Mountains. It is located on the southwestern edge of the Sichuan Basin in China, between 29°16′ and 29°43′ north latitude and 103°10′ and 103°37′ east longitude. It rises from the Emei Plain and extends north and south for 105 kilometers. The main peaks are Mount Da'e, Mount Er'e, Mount San'e, and Mount Si'e. Mount Da'e is the Emei Mountain Scenic Area, covering an area of 154 square kilometers. The main peak is the Golden Summit, and the highest peak, Wanfo Peak, is 3099 meters above sea level.
Purchase tickets and cable car fares in advance. Enter the park with your ID card. Pack light. We bought tickets for the morning trip from the foot of Dabashan Mountain to Leipingdong (2 hours). Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great; the sea of clouds obscured the sun. The sunrise was absolutely stunning. We'll definitely come back to make up for it next time.

I experienced both the boat tour and the mountain climb, and each had its own unique charm. The boat tour offers a panoramic view of the Buddha, while the mountain climb allows for a closer look at the details—both were breathtaking. The only thing to note is that the steps leading down to the Buddha's feet are very steep, so it's best to wear non-slip shoes and walk slowly.
Absolutely amazing value for money! Convenient transportation; easy access by taxi or subway. Attentive service, always ready to help, and a wide variety of fresh breakfast options. The scenic area is spacious and well-lit; the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

It's a beautiful short trip, but waiting times are long, and the way it's organized might be confusing for foreigners. First you get a ticket and wait until your number is displayed on the screen. The get another ticket with another number, and wait until your number is pronounced - in Chinese. An English speaking girl helped me and told me that 47 should be sǐ shi ți - but without her help I would get lost. Keep in mind that numbers might be pronounced adding <hao> in the end, which means 'ticket'
It happened to be Sunday, so there were still a lot of people. We waited for about an hour before we could get on the cable car. The river view was beautiful, and the service was good. They kept reminding everyone to be careful.

The cave is beautiful, and since it's the off-season, it's deserted, allowing for a leisurely visit. A visit takes about 3 hours, with many steps! Whether it's tiring depends on your physical condition; I personally didn't find it too strenuous. It's not cold inside the cave; a base layer and a sweatshirt are usually enough (in November). The only problem is transportation within the scenic area. There are very few direct buses from the high-speed rail station to the scenic area—only one per hour, and they're very slow. We had to take a taxi, which cost 120 yuan and took 40 minutes. By the time we finished our visit, it was almost dark, and there were no taxis available, especially in the middle of nowhere. I hope the scenic area can change the time of the last bus; otherwise, we would miss our high-speed train back to Guiyang. Finally, a kind man took us to the high-speed rail station. What a thrilling trip!
The tour guide was very responsible, contacting us the day before to arrange the pick-up location and time. He continuously introduced Zhijin Cave along the way, inquired about the drop-off point and visit time, and even checked if boats were operating at the Grand Canyon. He was very thoughtful and helpful. The trip was successful and smooth.

The zoo was quite large, but the layout was mediocre, with some animals backtracking. The animals looked plump and well-cared for. However, a zoo is ultimately a cage for animals; the rhinoceros exhibited stereotypical behavior, constantly circling around, which was quite pitiful. Zoos with insufficient living space are even less necessary!
We took the kids to Chongqing Zoo, taking Metro Line 2 to Zoo Station. As soon as we exited the station, we were surrounded by panda-themed decorations. Green ceilings and round panda paintings made the kids incredibly happy. 🐼 The panda enclosure was right inside the park. Although the pandas were lounging lazily, seeing them in person was satisfying. The park is built on a hillside and isn't very large, but walking uphill was quite tiring. Fortunately, there were many rest areas along the way, making it feel like a leisurely stroll in a park. 🌿 We rented a stroller for 10 yuan per hour, but after four hours, we were charged 40 yuan! [laughing emoji] Note that strollers can only be returned to the main entrance. We originally wanted to exit from the other side, but ended up having to go back. Overall, it was a very good experience. The greenery was lush, the air was fresh, and the pace was slow—perfect for bringing kids for some fresh air. ☀️

I have visited so many ancient towns all over the country, and Qingyan Ancient Town is one of the most distinctive ones. It has scenery surrounded by mountains and rivers, and its towering ancient city walls are very dangerous. It has the charm of a frontier town.
It feels like all ancient towns are the same now, with no distinctive features. The shopping malls are rarely visited, but what makes it different from other ancient towns is that you can climb the city walls, which feels like the Great Wall. Food is very cheap, with sugarcane juice at the entrance only 7 yuan a cup, and the set meal at "South City Old Things" is 38 yuan, which is more than one person can finish!

definitely worth it for its price, too much to see as well. and for photography lovers it is awesome. history, culture, the story of stone.
This is considered a must-see classic spot in Guiyang. You can easily spend half a day taking photos. It's located in the University Town area, and the 20 RMB entrance fee is quite reasonable. There are also performances during the day, including a Nuo opera, which is a good way to learn about traditional culture.

Chongqing Travel Guide: Unlock the Day and Night Wonders of an 8D City at Jiefangbei and Hongyadong If your image of Chongqing, the "8D Magic City," is still relegated to stories about navigation glitches, then the dual day and night views of Hongyadong and Jiefangbei will redefine the city's charm. Hongyadong at night is a real-life version of "Spirited Away." As dusk casts a shadow over the Jialing River, the warm yellow lights of the stilt houses gradually illuminate, and the cascading structures create a dreamlike silhouette against the night sky. Gazing from Qiansimen Bridge, traditional Bayu architecture blends with modern skyscrapers in a halo of lights, and the river breeze sweeps past, creating a sense of being transported into a fantasy world. Nighttime here is more than just about viewing the scenery. Delve into the scattered buildings to discover intangible cultural heritage crafts, unique snacks, and folk music bars... Every floor hides the vibrant life and art of Chongqing. Jiefangbei, day and night, is a symbiosis of prosperity and history. As the heart of Chongqing, its bell tower bears witness to the city's transformation. During the day, this place is a fashionable landmark, with the trendy windows of the Chongqing Department Store and a dazzling array of beauty brands offering an immersive experience of urban bustle. At night, a giant screen's light and shadow show complements the floral displays of "Long Live the Motherland." Amidst the throngs of tourists checking in and locals strolling through, the vibrant atmosphere and fashionable spirit collide to create a unique urban pulse. Walking from Jiefangbei to Hongyadong, you'll encounter unexpected surprises along the way—for example, a large screen advertising KFC's limited-edition "Crab Moon Burger," showcasing the vibrant and fun atmosphere of the mountain city. If you have more time, check out Qiansimen Bridge at dusk, where its orange-red hue reflects the river waves and the sunset glow, creating a uniquely romantic experience. The charm of Chongqing lies in the magic of Hongyadong, the prosperity of Jiefangbei, and the vibrant atmosphere of life interwoven into these scenes. Once you visit, you'll never forget it.
