As one of the eight surviving Liao Dynasty structures in China, the main hall of Fengguo Temple is a royal temple of the highest standard during the Liao Dynasty, a must-see for fans of ancient architecture. The seven Buddha statues within the hall are modeled after the seven Liao emperors, with the Sakyamuni figure on the far right representing Emperor Shengzong of Liao, Yelü Longxu. The reclining male Guanyin statue served as the filming location for the telecom master, and the male flying apsaras on the hall beams are vibrantly colored. The temple also features murals of the Eighteen Arhats and a vertical plaque inscribed by Emperor Qianlong.
