The scenery at the scenic spot is really amazing, the air is fresh, and you can see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. First, you take an electric car, then get off and walk a few hundred meters to the mountainside, and then take a car to the lake. It just feels like the car ride isn't that far, and the price-performance ratio is a bit low compared to the ticket price. Otherwise, it's pretty good, and the service is also acceptable.
It is worth of money. To me, just go slowly to the peak of Glacier Park and enjoy the snowy surroundings is enough for 1 day. I will save other places like Blue Moon Valley for other time.

Kunming Botanical Garden has East and West Gardens, each with its own distinct plant area. There's also the Plum Garden, the Rhododendron Garden, and more. In autumn, the Maple Avenue is ablaze with color, with red maples and yellow apricots creating a vibrant tapestry of hues. The garden is a captivating spectacle of autumnal beauty.
It is worth going. The plants are quite rich. If you like plants, I strongly recommend buying the ticket for the Fuli Palace. The Fuli Palace is the most satisfying and unforgettable place for children in Kunming. At the entrance of Baicao Garden, I also witnessed a scene of a bumblebee fighting a bee.

Come to Kunming to take your kids out and experience the transparent boat of the Dianchi Forest Boat! ! The location is relatively easy to find. The ticket purchase is calculated according to the boat. A boat starts at 5 o'clock for one hour, and can be booked for half an hour after 5 o'clock. I guess it's because I'm about to get off work. Wear a life jacket before getting on the boat. One boat can take two adults, or two adults + a child under 1.2 meters, with two oars. The area is really not too big. If there are few people, it's still good to experience taking pictures. If there are many people, it's crowded + group photos, and the experience will be reduced a lot. It was cloudy on the day I went there, and the photo effect was not very good, but the children were also very happy to experience it.
Haihong Wetland Park is the wetland park closest to the main city of Kunming. It is adjacent to Dianchi Lake and Xishan Mountain, and offers a panoramic view of the lake and mountains. The wetland park is large in area and has beautiful scenery. Birds can be heard everywhere, and flowers are everywhere. There is also a water forest where you can go boating. It is a very satisfying leisure resort!

Natural landscape -Ancient Ginkgo Group: The densest ancient ginkgo group in the world, presenting a golden ocean landscape in autumn -Small bridges and flowing water: The clear streams and ancient bridges in the core area form a poetic picture -Apricot Lake Bridge: A five-story pavilion-style wind and rain bridge spans across the Apricot Lake, where you can enjoy tea and view the scenery Humanistic relics -Ancient Post Road: An important section of the Yunnan-Guizhou Ancient Post Road and the Ancient Tea-Horse Road -Tree King: An ancient tree over 1,500 years old, although the upper part is withered, the lower part is still growing tenaciously -Ancient houses: Traditional tiled houses and ancient ginkgo trees complement each other
The ginkgo trees in Tuole Village are scattered throughout the village. Since we went there a week late, some of the trees had already shed their leaves, while some had not yet completely turned yellow. Walking in the village, the quaint buildings and thousand-year-old trees gave the village a sense of magic!

Returning to the first national park on the mainland after 18 years, I happened to be there today and it snowed, so I did a snow hike, which was quite enjoyable overall. However, the shuttle buses in the park sometimes require waiting, which I hope can be improved.
The autumn colors were beautiful, but we didn't have enough time to see everything. The ticket price felt a bit expensive, especially considering we had just visited Baishuitai; the contrast was too stark. 😀

I came specifically to ride the transparent boats, and after comparing it with Haihong Wetland Park, I chose Laoyuhe Wetland Park. Due to time constraints, I only managed to ride one transparent boat, but the experience was still quite good. Next time, I'd like to allocate more time to explore the park.
Baozi, today I must share with you the treasure wetland park I found when I lived in Kunming. It is a national 3A-level tourist attraction. In the many wetland parks I walked around Dianchi Lake, it is the only scenic spot named "national". It is like a pearl hidden next to the city, exudes a unique charm. Every time you walk into it, it seems to step into a dreamy natural kingdom, which makes people intoxicated. The vast area of the fish river wetland park covers more than 700 hectares, and the vast earth is like a green picture. As soon as you enter the park, the dense vegetation comes to your face, and the trees are shaded, as if a huge green umbrella propped up a cool world. On a hot day, as long as you walk in here, the heat dissipates instantly, leaving only a full of peace and comfort. The happiest thing in the park is the children, who play like a group of happy little angels on the beach. The fine sand slipped between their fingers, leaving a string of silver bells laughing, and they were still fishing excitedly by the pond, the focus of a great adventure. But to remind parents, the water here is not very clean, for the health of the children, try not to let them play in the water. In addition to children, this is also a holy place for girls to film. Every corner is like a carefully arranged canvas, and any shot can be beautiful to a new height. The best place to take pictures of the fish river wetland is a row of small beaches along the water of Dianchi Lake. At first glance, it may not have the sensation of a stunning look, but when you pick up the camera and point the lens at it, a picture full of Southeast Asian style will be presented. The Fish River Wetland Park is like a magical place, with beautiful scenery given by nature and a happy atmosphere for parents and children to play. Here, you can stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature. Treasures, come to the Yuhe Wetland Park and start your beautiful journey! I believe it will leave you with an unforgettable memory.

The scenery is beautiful, but the service is inadequate. The temperature difference between morning and evening is large, and the waiting time for the dispatch bus was long during the National Day holiday. The temperature drops rapidly after 6 pm. Horseback riding and sightseeing buses within the scenic area are at your own expense. If you take children out, remember to wear sunscreen, bring dry food, and warm clothes.
Very classic alpine grassland scenery, blue sky and white clouds, green grass and clear water. The scenery is quite beautiful. Children can ride horses. It was a bit crowded during the National Day holiday. We waited for nearly 40 minutes for the return shuttle bus.

The scenery is beautiful, but there's some traffic. Traffic jams happen because some people think they're smarter than others and skip the line, overtaking from the side lanes and blocking oncoming traffic. I've taken photos of these cars skipping the line and exposing them, hoping to foster public scrutiny and promote social progress. We can't always let those who skip the line take advantage while those with public morals suffer.
This is the location mentioned in Chairman Mao's poem "The Long March." "The Five Ridges wind like gentle waves, the Wumeng Mountains are majestic and majestic, rolling in the mud." The great man's words are imbued with revolutionary passion. Back in 1935, at a time of national crisis, a group of Red Army troops, filled with revolutionary ideals to transform the world and build a new China, began their journey in the mountains of Jiangxi and Hunan. They were then forced into the Long March by counter-revolutionary encirclement and suppression. Eighty years ago, in today's peaceful times, have become a beautiful sight before our eyes. The hardships endured by the Red Army have become the roads we now face, the natural barriers we face now, and the world has been transformed! Arriving at the Wumeng Grassland, we'll find farmhouses and hotels along the way, each with its own cattle and sheep slaughterhouse. Herds of cattle and sheep abound, leisurely grazing amidst the blue sky, white clouds, and verdant mountains and clear waters. Here, too, there are groups of horseback riders and herders grazing their cattle. Galloping on horseback through the alpine meadows was such a joy... The road winds along, filled with seas of clouds, mountains, horses, cattle, sheep, and people unfettered by their own freedom, as well as tents and RVs of all colors. There are also campsites and people trekking up the canyon. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the people taking photos and checking in admirably embellish the beautiful scenery, a true reflection of the people's yearning and pursuit for a better life! The road may be long, but the journey will eventually lead to the destination! We also rode the bus through the rolling hills, letting our eyes take in the scenery and our hearts wander freely. Someone played "To the Clouds," which was perfectly fitting! Everyone sang and sang, taking in photos and checking in on the Cloud Plank Road. Occasionally, cattle and sheep would approach, unfazed. Many people drove along the mountain roads, but some cars unfortunately got stuck, causing traffic congestion in some sections. The weather in the mountains is unpredictable. Just one moment, the sky was clear, then suddenly it was overcast. From time to time, clouds would blow in, and then a moment later, a steady rain would fall... Perhaps this is the beauty and magic of the Wumeng Grassland. It's said that around 4 p.m., the Tyndall effect occurs, where sunlight scatters through clouds. If you're lucky, you might even witness the Buddha's light shining brightly. Due to time constraints, we didn't see it. We continued on our journey, passing through lush green mountains and clear waters, and then walked a long, poorly maintained road before reaching the Beipanjiang Bridge, said to be the world's tallest bridge at 600 meters. This is a great victory for our country's infrastructure, and it's a testament to the fact that mountain dwellers have transformed natural barriers into accessible roads, no longer feeling overwhelmed by the sight of mountains.

[August Xizhou Ancient Town: In the rice fields and Bai customs, meet the romance of summer] August Xizhou Ancient Town is a treasure land filled with greenery and fireworks! Less than half an hour's drive from the ancient city of Dali, just got off the bus and was surprised by the endless rice fields at the entrance of the village. The green rice waves undulating with the wind, and some egrets passed by. The blue sky and white clouds lined the white tiles and white walls of the Bai people's houses. No wonder everyone runs here with their cameras. Time in the ancient town is very slow. The stone road is winding and twisting, and there are intact Bai old houses on both sides. The darts and the carved doors and windows are all exquisite. Walking in is like breaking into the time museum. The key point is to praise the Yanjia Courtyard, not only to see the exquisiteness of Bai architecture, but also to understand the history of Xizhou business gangs. The pomegranate trees in the yard are full of fruits, especially the atmosphere of life. In August, just in time for the local fruit peak season! The roadside stalls are full of yellow figs, sweet grapes, and freshly picked blueberries, affordable and fresh. Of course, Xizhou is indispensable. It is recommended to bake sweet mouths (rose filling) and salted mouths (pork end), the outer skin is crispy and the inner is soft, with a cup of milk fan Shaqima, and the carbide is happy to be directly full. I found a small shop by the river and sat down to eat, watched the flowing water, listened to the locals chatting in dialect. It's so pleasant. In the afternoon, you can rent a bicycle to ride along the rice fields, blow the wind through the fields, pass the villagers' vegetable fields and ponds, and feel the most simple pastoral scenery. In the evening, the light on the edge of the rice field became soft, taking pictures with filters, and many newcomers took wedding photos here, which was very romantic. The only thing to note is that it is a bit sun-dried in the afternoon of August, remember to do a good job of sun protection; there are a little more tourists on the main street of the ancient town, but you can find a cleanliness when you turn into the alley, suitable for slowly shaking. Overall, Xizhou does not have the hustle and bustle of Dali Ancient City, but has more idyllic and humanistic heritage. Come here in August, like putting the beauty of the whole summer in your hands, recommend it to friends who want to slow down and feel Dali ~
Well, the entire Dali Erhai Lake circle is about 80 kilometers long, and you will pass through many ancient towns in the middle, such as Xizhou Ancient Town. At the same time, there will be a lot of people renting cars, and you can also see many luxury cars. But you should pay attention to whether you choose to tour clockwise or counterclockwise. Sometimes, there will be more traffic jams in one direction.

The scenery around Erhai Lake in Dali is absolutely stunning. Choosing a sightseeing bus tour is the most economical option. I booked a one-day tour on Ctrip. Since time was limited, I recommend selecting a few attractions, such as the S-bend and Luoquan Island.
It's so beautiful! A truly worthwhile place to visit. The scenery is picturesque. Sitting by the sea, having afternoon tea, feeling the sea breeze, and admiring the beautiful scenery between the mountains and the water—it's wonderful! 😄 If you're interested, you can walk along the coast, breathing in the fresh air; it's truly invigorating…🌺🌺🌺😁
