In September, a vast field of pink daisy blossoms bloomed beside the Taiye Lake near the Daming Palace, creating the most gentle and dreamy scene—perfect for photoshoots! Go check it out, ladies!
The refreshing autumn breeze is perfect for a garden tour. Wander through the Daming Palace Ruins Park and experience the richness of history.
After entering the Daming Palace Ruins, you can first visit the Danxia Gate Museum. The park provides its own guided tours, and you can watch an animated re-creation of the bustling Danxia Gate scene on screen.
Inside the park is the Daming Palace Museum, where you can savor the glittering artifacts, witness the emperor holding court in the Xuanzheng Hall, and experience interactive activities where you can try out ancient costumes for yourself. The museum also hides scenes of the residents' lives after the demolition, including locked faucets and old doors and windows, all of which evoke memories of the past.
There's also a massive miniature Daming Palace, offering a glimpse into its once magnificent splendor. The bird's-eye view of the magnificent building is truly captivating. At the end of the Willow Scenic Area lies Taiye Pond. It's the season for the pink daisy, and a vast expanse of tender pink flowers greets the view, blending seamlessly with the Daming Palace's back gardens. It's a truly beautiful autumn scene, well worth a visit. The outer perimeter of the scenic area is free, but the inner area requires a separate ticket. It's quite large and requires extensive walking. For those who can't walk, there's a separate ticket for the park bus, which allows you to hop on and off at will. A must-see for history lovers!
