I'm glad my notes are helpful. Below is my honest review of the Shaanxi Wave Valley Scenic Area, which I hope will provide further reference. Shaanxi Wave Valley Scenic Area Review Scenic Highlights: Wave Valley is renowned for its unique geological formations. Long-term weathering and water erosion have created undulating rock formations resembling ocean waves, creating a spectacular and dynamic landscape. The rich, layered colors of the rocks are breathtaking, especially when illuminated by sunlight. Suitable for: From nature-loving photographers to families seeking relaxation, there's a spot here to delight everyone. The hiking trails are relatively gentle, making them suitable for most travelers, especially those with children or the elderly. Experience: In addition to admiring the unique rock formations, the scenic area also features unique leisure facilities, such as observation decks, walking trails, and small exhibition areas. It's recommended to plan your route in advance to fully experience every corner of the area. Transportation and Facilities: The scenic area is easily accessible, making it easy to drive or take a tour bus from the city center. The scenic area has fairly complete infrastructure, including restrooms, rest areas, and some simple dining options. However, it's recommended to bring some drinking water and snacks. Notes: The terrain is complex, so comfortable shoes are recommended. Summer and autumn are the best times to visit; avoid peak season to better enjoy the tranquility of nature. Please maintain cleanliness, avoid littering, and contribute to the preservation of this beautiful natural landscape. Summary: Shaanxi Wave Valley, with its unique geological landscape and beautiful natural environment, is a worthwhile tourist destination. Whether you're taking photos, strolling, or simply relaxing, you'll find plenty of enjoyment here. I hope my review will help you better plan your trip, and I look forward to seeing you!
It's so beautiful. You could spend a whole day exploring this attraction. It's even more beautiful when the sun comes out after a light rain. The road leading to the parking lot is currently under repair, so there's only a narrow dirt road, and they even charge a parking fee.

The ticket I bought online at Ctrip was the same as the one I bought on site, 85 yuan for a round trip. When I went to Haisha Peninsula, the boarding terminal was a bit chaotic. Tourists rushed to the boarding gate wherever the boat arrived, so that the tourists in the front of the line could not get on the boat, while the tourists in the back of the line got on the boat early. I hope the scenic area pier can manage it to prevent the elderly and children from being squeezed and in danger.
It is rare to find such a scenic spot in China that includes deserts, grasslands, and lakes. Hongjiannao is located in Yulin, northern Shaanxi. The parking lot is a bit small and there is no one to direct the flow of cars. At noon, the parking lot was full of cars. Later, the cars did not know and were all circling around in it. Hongjiannao has beautiful scenery and many water activities. It is worth a visit.

Hongshi Gorge is located 3 kilometers north of Yulin, Shaanxi Province. It is named after the red rocks on the mountain. The excavation of Hongshi Gorge can be traced back to the Song and Yuan Dynasties. It was once the territory of the Western Xia Kingdom. In the Ming Dynasty, Hongshi Gorge became an important military fortress due to its dangerous geographical location and was closely connected with the Great Wall. In the modern revolutionary struggle in northern Shaanxi, Hongshi Gorge played an important role and became one of the important revolutionary activity sites of the CPC Central Committee in northern Shaanxi. The cliffs on both sides of the river valley are covered with cliff carvings and caves. There are more than 160 stone carvings in total, including regular script, cursive script, official script and seal script, which are called "Forest of Steles on the Frontier".
Yuntaishan Hongshi Gorge is the essence of Yuntaishan scenic spots. It takes about one and a half hours to visit. The canyon is 1,500 meters long and is a one-way scenic spot. There is a narrow canyon called "One Line Sky" at the south end of the valley entrance, and there is the Bailong Waterfall with a height of more than 60 meters. The high mountains on both sides stand like a stone tower, which is exactly the west gate of Yuntaishan.

The weather is pleasant now, making it a great time to explore scenic areas that require some physical effort. The scenic area integrates the cultures of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, with different temples showcasing the deities of each religion. It's also a great place to learn about the legend of Erlang Shen.
⛰Explore the Secrets of Shenmu Erlang Mountain | A treasure in northern Shaanxi that is definitely worth visiting The vast land of northern Shaanxi hides a fascinating mountain - Shenmu Erlang Mountain. It is like a bright pearl, exuding a unique charm, attracting countless tourists to unveil its mysterious veil. Today, follow this guide to explore the highlights of Erlang Mountain! 🌄Unique mountain terrain, comparable to the danger of Huashan Mountain Erlang Mountain is known as the "Little Huashan Mountain in Northern Shaanxi". Its mountain terrain is winding and steep. There are two bulges in the middle of the mountain, just like the double humps of a camel, so it is also called "Hump Mountain". Looking from a distance, the whole mountain is like a giant dragon lying on the ground, magnificent. Walking along the narrow ridge, the cliffs on both sides are daunting. Every step is full of challenges, but it also brings an unparalleled exciting experience. The feeling that is comparable to the steepness of Mount Hua will definitely make you unforgettable. 🛕Three religions in one, religious and cultural wonders The magic of Erlang Mountain is that it is a holy place where Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism are integrated. On the ridge of more than 1,000 meters before and after, there are more than 30 buildings of various types scattered around. The Dizang Cave Grottoes, which was built during the Zhengtong period of the Ming Dynasty, is a Buddhist temple that enshrines Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. The caisson stone carvings in the cave combine Taoist Bagua symbols with dragon, phoenix and lotus patterns, which are exquisite. The Three Religions Hall, which was built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, enshrines Sakyamuni, Confucius and Laozi together. The east and west walls of the hall are painted with "Dongshan Panorama" and "Xishan Panorama", which fully demonstrates the harmonious coexistence of the three religions. This unique landscape is extremely rare elsewhere. 📜Long history and profound cultural heritage The history of the Erlangshan Temple Group can be traced back to before the Ming Dynasty. After hundreds of years of wind and rain, it carries rich historical and cultural connotations. The murals, sculptures, stone carvings, inscriptions, etc. in the temple are all precious cultural treasures. For example, the Ming Dynasty brick-carved screen wall outside the gate of Erlang Temple has a "Tiger Roaring Picture" carved on the front and a "Nine Dragons Playing in the Water Picture" carved on the back. The lines are smooth and lifelike; the stone archway in front of the temple was built in the first year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty. It has two pillars and one room, a hanging mountain top, stone-carved brackets under the eaves, and two dragons playing with pearls on the lintel. The craftsmanship is exquisite and simple and elegant. Walking through it, it seems that you can hear the echo of history. 🎉Traditional temple fairs, folk customs feast Every year on the eighth day of the first lunar month, the eighth day of the fourth lunar month, and the twenty-second day of the sixth lunar month, it is the traditional temple fair of Erlangshan. At this time, Erlangshan is very lively, with merchants and tourists. People from surrounding areas came to worship, shop, or taste delicious food. At the temple fair, folk performances such as dragon and lion dances, yangko and land boats were wonderful and full of rich folk customs. Being in it, you can deeply feel the profound local cultural heritage and the enthusiasm and vitality of the people. It is an excellent opportunity to experience the folk culture of northern Shaanxi. 🚗Travel Guide Tickets: Free for Shenmu residents, affordable for out-of-town tourists (please pay attention to official information for details). Opening hours: usually 08:00 - 18:00 (it is recommended to check and confirm in advance). Transportation: If you drive by yourself, just navigate directly to the parking lot of Shenmu Erlangshan Scenic Area; if you take public transportation, you can first go to

It is worth a visit for history lovers, especially those who love the Great Wall and Ming Dynasty frontier history. The fortress itself is a modern construction, with only a few remaining beacon tunnels and city walls in the far west and east.
As a part of the Ming Great Wall, Zhenbeitai has important historical significance. It is not only a representative of ancient military defense projects, but also reflects ancient Chinese border defense strategies and construction techniques.

If you are interested in religious culture, especially Taoism, or are a believer, you will definitely visit this place. People who exercise regularly will also be happy to visit this place. If you want to broaden your horizons and learn about folk customs, it will be more popular during special festivals. The mountains are high, the water is long, and the trees are shady. Climb to the top and you can see all the small mountains!
Baiyun Mountain is still worth visiting. After buying the ticket, you can drive up. It is very tiring to walk up, so it saves time and energy. It takes 1 hour to play there. There are Zhenwu Hall, Wenchang Pavilion, Nine Dragon Wall, and there is a stage under which is another world!

The Tongwan City Ruins are located in Baichengzi Village, Hongdunjie Town, Jingbian County, Shaanxi Province. It is the ruins of the capital of the Great Xia Kingdom established by Helian Bobo, a descendant of the Xiongnu people during the Sixteen Kingdoms period of the Eastern Jin Dynasty in Chinese history. It is also the only capital ruins left by the Xiongnu people in the long river of history. In 407 AD, Helian Bobo, the last Xiongnu king, established the Great Xia Kingdom. He began to build the capital in 413 AD and completed it in 418 AD. He personally named it "Tongwan" to show his ambition to "unify the world and rule over all nations" with the city as the foundation. Tongwan City continued to be used until 994 AD, when Emperor Taizong of Song issued an edict to destroy the city. It has been more than a thousand years since then.
The moon is bright in the quiet night of Tongwan City The ruins lie quietly in the wilderness The moonlight flows over the mottled city walls Illuminating the wrinkles of time The Big Dipper hangs high like an ancient lamp guiding the lost direction The clouds dance lightly like the wings of a dream passing through the corridor of history The wind whispers between the bricks and stones telling the glory of the past And the night sky is still deep and vast

This old street was formed during the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty. It is about 2 kilometers long. Six ancient pavilions are arranged in a row from south to north, namely Wenchang Pavilion, Wanfo Tower, Xingming Tower, Bell Tower, Kaige Tower and Drum Tower. •The Drum Tower, also known as the Qiao Tower, was built in the ninth year of the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty (1473). It is a two-story brick cave-style building, 18.5 meters high, with a unique shape and structure. •The Kaige Tower, formerly known as Huaide Gate, was built in the fifth year of the Hongzhi period of the Ming Dynasty (1492). Because it was the residence of Zhu Houzhao, the Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty, it is also known as the Taiyi Palace. This building has two floors and a height of 20 meters, with bell and drum towers at the four corners. •The Bell Tower, built during the Republic of China, is 24 meters high and is made entirely of blue bricks. It has a four-story structure and a double-eaved octagonal pavilion on the top floor. ‌•Xinming Building‌, built in the Ming Dynasty, is 18 meters high, with yellow glazed tiles covering the roof and eaves, and is exquisitely crafted. ‌•Wenchang Pavilion‌, located at the northernmost end of the old street, is one of the six buildings. These buildings are not only of historical value, but also a tourist attraction. The streets are lined with small shops on both sides, showing an antique commercial atmosphere. Yulin Old Street attracts many tourists for sightseeing with its quaint, prosperous and wide characteristics.
Free to visit the long ancient streets, and the sightseeing car just opened at the end of May is also free to ride. The fourth batch of national-level tourism and leisure blocks, based on the 600-year-old Ming Great Wall Jiubian Heavy Town, formed the unique landscape of "Nanta Beitaizhong Ancient City, the sixth floor Qijie World Name", the central axis layout of the chessboard-shaped laneway and six ancient Ming and Qing Dynasties, integrating non-legacy display, Hanfu experience, Special dining, etc., both historical and cultural protection and modern cultural tourism functions, suitable for leisure strolls, there are delicious no added yogurt, pancakes... There are also cloths that citizens need...
