We drove up the mountain. In October, there was a sea of flowers in the scenic area. The colors were beautiful for taking photos. Children could also play in the water. There were also some farmhouse restaurants for dining. The road from the gate to the scenic area was quite long and the mountain road was narrow, so be careful.
Tianchi Flower Sea, a holy place on earth! It was worth the winding mountain road for nearly an hour. When the flower sea appeared in front of me, I felt that my life was complete. The gardeners took good care of the hydrangeas, irises, and lavenders. Each one was full of vitality. The temperature on the top of the mountain in early July was so cool and comfortable. Looking from a high place, the mountains are green, and the tall buildings in the city are like a little cheese on the matcha cake. It is really a holy place for self-driving in the Greater Bay Area. The scenery changes in four seasons, and you can always see it.

It's just so-so~~ Compared to the price, it's just so-so, with average cost-effectiveness~~~ There are many still life exhibits inside, and each person has a headset to listen to the explanation. If the children are more interested in history and culture, it's ok to walk for 2 hours, but I don't recommend eating osmanthus ice cream, it's too sweet, with a strong flavor of essence.
20230315 afternoon: 1. "Osmanthus Commune" is a new factory-run scenic spot with osmanthus as the theme. It presents the nature, humanities, applications and commodities of Guilin osmanthus in a comprehensive and detailed manner. The indoor audio-visual and scenery visual effects are shocking. ① Address: No. 18, Yangjiang Road, Xiufeng District, Guilin City. ② Transportation: Direct bus access, easy parking by car. ③ Peak season: None. ④ Time: 2 hours 2. The scenic spot has free guided tours, mainly indoors. Entering the exhibition hall, the welcoming mural is a nine-layer hollow carving painting, using the artistic expression of "overlapping colors". It is very beautiful after the tour guide turns on the lights. The content shows the top scholar, "Sun and Moon Twin Towers", Guilin landscape and other contents. Then we entered the history and popular science introduction hall of Guilin and osmanthus. Hanging above his head was a carbonized osmanthus seed that was confirmed to be 10,000 years old after carbon 14 testing. It was unearthed from Zengpi Rock in Guilin and is the earliest osmanthus seed in the world. The natural growth, varieties, and relationship of osmanthus with Guilin were introduced in the form of pictures, texts, wax figures, etc. 3. Entering the audio-visual hall, there is a 5D film introducing Guilin and osmanthus. The visual effects are magnificent and shocking, and the images of stepping on the ground make people feel like they are there. The popular science wall behind introduced the types of osmanthus. The next exhibition hall shows the application of osmanthus. Osmanthus is used in traditional Chinese medicine (there is a bronze sculpture of Li Shizhen compiling "Compendium of Materia Medica", which is a photo spot), osmanthus honey, aromatherapy, wine making, cosmetics, etc. 4. The next hall "Laoguan•Zhuangyuan Jidi" shows the relationship between osmanthus and the eight champions in Guilin's history. The colorful decorative lights above the head are densely hanging down like vast stars, and the color changes are extremely beautiful. The statue of the number one scholar holding a book and studying hard under the osmanthus tree turned the hall from a dream into reality. The semi-stereoscopic wall sculpture of the number one scholar, the simulated banquet before going to Beijing for the imperial examination (local officials would treat students to a meal before going to Beijing for the "palace examination" because the students would most likely serve as officials in the same court in the future), and the subsequent light and shadow animation were warmed up and paved the way. The animation was a segment of ancient figures projected on a painted relief painting, similar to a shadow play, and interpreted the last "three-level successor" in Chinese history (the first place in the provincial examination, the joint examination, and the palace examination. There are only 13 people in the 1,300-year history of the Chinese imperial examination, which can be regarded as a top scholar in ancient China that only appeared once every 100 years), the whole process of Chen Jichang from Guilin participating in the imperial examination and passing the imperial examination, eating osmanthus cake as a ration, and the strong Guilin style left a deep impression on me. 5. The next stop hall introduces the brewing of osmanthus wine. It is the first time I have seen the video of the star screen. It is very novel. The surrounding windows use colorful clay figures to introduce the brewing process of osmanthus wine. Then there is a visual feast of colorful wine bottles, densely packed ancient and modern wine bottles, and a wall composed of 2,888 bottles of dried osmanthus. With the help of mirror reflection, the visual effect is doubled. I can't help but admire the extraordinary skills of the designer of this scenic spot, but people with intensive phobia have to walk with their eyes closed. 6. Next is the children's amusement theme hall, where you can find the hidden osmanthus elves in the murals, which is similar to the game of "Everyone Come to Find the Difference". Further ahead are the ancient workshops and modern workshops of osmanthus products... The word count exceeds the limit, and continue in the last picture.

This is the only grassland in the south, and it's truly breathtaking. If you have the stamina, you can conquer every hilltop. Everywhere you look is green, incredibly soothing. We were lucky enough to see a sea of clouds; locals said they rarely see such a beautiful cloudscape. Highly recommended!
It's definitely worth a visit. In the morning, a thin mist hangs in the air, like a veil covering the sky. As the temperature rises, the clouds part and the sun shines through, revealing rolling meadows, leisurely flocks of sheep, distant windmills, and various castles, making you feel like you've stepped into a fairytale world.

The scenery along the way is very good. The vegetation around the mountain road is lush. In addition, it is rainy and the clouds and mist are lingering in the mountains. It feels like being in a fairyland. The overall feeling is good! There are still many people playing during the Spring Festival. The climate is pleasant and very comfortable!
The mountain is very big, and because it is a holiday, there are many people and cars, so it is difficult to find a parking space. Although there are many parking spaces, they are on the side of the road. You have to drive up the mountain to get one. Because the road is small and there are many cars going back and forth, it is very slow and difficult to park the car. The staff's guidance is not enough. The scenery of the mountain is good, but you must climb to the top of the mountain.

Hongyan Village is located in Lianhua Town, Gongcheng City, Guangxi. The whole village is mainly planted with persimmons. The harvest of persimmons begins in October every year. Today, Hongyan Village is not only a place for picking and wholesale, but also a tourist attraction. There are numerous attractions such as the Wind and Rain Bridge and the Rolling Dam. There are countless homestays. You can eat, drink, live, travel and play in the village. Tourists are happy to take pictures, and villagers earn more. Everyone is happy. There are persimmon trees on both sides, and various small stalls on the roadside are selling crisp persimmons, persimmon cakes, persimmon slices... Some persimmon gardens mainly charge tickets. In order to satisfy tourists' check-in and photo-taking, the leaves of persimmons are removed in advance, so that the whole tree is full of persimmons, and various photo props are added, making it a must-check-in online celebrity attraction.
Hongyan Village is located in Lianhua Town, Gongcheng Yao Autonomous County, Guilin, Guangxi, 108 kilometers away from Guilin City. It is an ecological tourism village integrating landscape tours, rural farming experience, sightseeing, etc. The main attractions are: Yaozhai Wind and Rain Bridge, Rolling Dam, Plum Blossom Pile, Circular Village Road, Lighted Basketball Court, Swimming Pool, Tourist Mountain Trail. Looking from a high place, you can see an orange-red ocean, which is very photogenic! Persimmons can be eaten and bought, very fresh and delicious!

The user experience is fantastic! Visiting Elephant Trunk Hill in Guilin is breathtaking. The hill connects seamlessly with the water, resembling an elephant drinking water—it's incredibly lifelike. The surrounding facilities are excellent, and transportation is convenient, making it suitable for family trips. Overall, Elephant Trunk Hill is a must-see in Guilin and highly recommended!
Memories of Elephant Trunk Hill Elephant Trunk Hill is the emblem of Guilin and the prototype for the scenery described in the elementary school textbook "Guilin Landscape." It's amazing that this must-visit place is free! Slow down, let your gaze linger, and carefully appreciate every scene. 1. How to capture the iconic image of Guilin? In Elephant Trunk Hill Park, walk along the riverside path to the Water Moon Cave to capture the classic image of the "elephant trunk" reflected in the water. Visit Love Island or take a bamboo raft to the water directly in front of Elephant Trunk Hill for a close-up shot of the "elephant drinking water" scene. From a compositional perspective, a person standing in front of the elephant trunk can be framed alongside the core landscape of "elephant trunk drinking water," highlighting the iconic shape of Elephant Trunk Hill while blending the person with the natural scenery, resulting in a layered and highly recognizable image. Placing a person inside the Water Moon Cave would make them appear "imprisoned." 2. What is the Double Moon Spectacle on the Li River? Arriving at Love Island in Elephant Trunk Hill Park, you can see three hills, two caves, and a river. The three hills are Elephant Trunk Hill, Pierced Hill, and Pagoda Hill. The two caves are the Water Moon Cave on Elephant Trunk Hill and the Moon Rock Cave on Pierced Hill, facing each other across the Li River. The Water Moon Cave resembles a bright moon floating on the water, while the Moon Rock Cave resembles a bright moon hanging high in the sky, forming the Double Moon landscape of the Li River. 3. Can the Water Moon spectacle of Elephant Trunk Hill be seen during the day? The Water Moon Cave is shaped like a full moon, half embedded in the mountain and half submerged in the water. From a distance, the outline of the cave entrance on the water's surface resembles a "bright moon" floating on the water, naturally fitting the imagery of "a bright moon floating on the water." When light passes through the Water Moon Cave, the light forms spots on the water's surface, which can be poetically interpreted as "a bright moon beneath the water." When a gentle breeze ripples across the water, dappled sunlight dances on the surface, perfectly capturing the ethereal beauty of "the moon floating on the water." This, combined with the reflection of the Water Moon Cave in the water, creates a dual spectacle of "a moon beneath the water, and a moon floating on the surface." 4. What is the spectacular "Three Moons Competing for Glory" scene? On a full moon night, without artificial light, from beside the Water Moon Cave or the viewing platform in Zizhou Park, one can see three moons: the moon in the sky, its reflection in the water, and the Water Moon Cave itself combined with its reflection to form a "full moon." This creates the spectacular "Three Moons Competing for Glory" scene, where "a moon beneath the water, a moon floating on the surface, the water flows but the moon doesn't go, the moon goes but the water still flows." When warm yellow light illuminates the Water Moon Cave, the cave itself appears as a moon floating on the water, and its reflection also resembles a moon in the water. The moon in the sky, the "moon in the cave," and the "moon in the water" together constitute the spectacular "Three Moons Competing for Glory" scene. Warm yellow lights outlined the Water Moon Cave and illuminated parts of Elephant Trunk Hill, making its silhouette resemble a giant elephant walking on water—a dreamlike scene. 5. What is the scenery of "Pagoda Mountain's Clear Reflection"? Climbing to the top of Elephant Trunk Hill, one can see that Pagoda Mountain resembles a tortoise carrying an ancient pagoda across the river. The pagoda, called Foshou Pagoda, was awarded the Guinness World Record in 2007 by the Shanghai Great World Headquarters for "Ancient Pagoda Located on the Smallest Stone Mountain Peak." Under the blue sky and white clouds, the mountain, the solitary pagoda, and its reflection in the river create an ink painting-like scene, hence the name "Pagoda Mountain's Clear Reflection." 6. Why was Puxian Pagoda built on Elephant Trunk Hill?

Location: Located in Gudong Village, Daxu Town, Lingchuan County, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, approximately 25 kilometers from downtown Guilin. ◦ Scenic Area Rating: National AAAA-level Scenic Area. ◦ Forest Coverage: Over 96%, covering approximately 3,000 mu (approximately 1,000 acres), including 2,000 mu (approximately 1,000 acres) of primary forest. ◦ Waterfall Overview: Gudong Waterfall is a multi-tiered series of travertine waterfalls formed by underground springs. It has 13 tiers, a total drop of 90 meters, and an average width of 20 meters.
Gudong Waterfall, the scenery is so beautiful. I love climbing the waterfall and getting in close contact with nature. It is also the only waterfall in the country that can be climbed. I had a lot of fun. The things in the scenic area are very cost-effective and not too expensive. The fruits are very sweet, especially the coconut milk. You must try it. I would like to go again if I have the chance. Recommended

Yangsu's Yulong River rafting is highly recommended. The bamboo raft drifts downstream, the river gently flowing, and the lush green mountains and waters on both sides create a picturesque scene. The more thrilling part is the dam-striking experience, where the water splashes against your face, a thrilling experience without any danger, and the raftsman's witty remarks are truly captivating.
The Yulong River and the Ten-Li Gallery are well worth a visit, with stunning views. It's a truly soothing experience. Tips: We recommend staying in a hotel or B&B near the Yulong River for convenient access. The bamboo rafting trip on the Yulong River is divided into several sections. If you're staying upstream, take a raft down, disembark at the dock, and then rent an electric bike to cruise up the Ten-Li Gallery, stopping to take photos or stroll along the river. If you're staying downstream, rent an electric bike to cruise up the Ten-Li Gallery, return it, and then take a bamboo raft down the river at the dock.

Duxiu Peak and Jingjiang Prince City Scenic Area, located in Xiufeng District, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is a scenic tourist area rich in history and culture, covering an area of 283 acres. Duxiu Peak, along with Diecai and Fubo Peaks, forms a triad of mountains, one of the main peaks of Guilin, known as the "Pillar of the Southern Sky" and historically called the First Peak of Guilin. Rising abruptly, its shape is like a knife-cut hex, surrounded by other mountains, standing proudly like an emperor. Climbing 306 steps leads to the summit, the best viewing platform for panoramic views of Guilin. Located 1000 meters north of Diecai and 500 meters east of Fubo, it has an altitude of 216 meters, rising 66 meters above the plain, measuring 120 meters long and 50 meters wide, covering an area of 0.61 hectares. Surrounded by mountains in the distance, it resembles a courtier paying homage, creating a regal atmosphere of "a solitary peak not serving the other mountains," laughing at the surrounding peaks, and is known as the "Head of the Mountains, King of the Mountains." The cliffside inscriptions are scattered like stars, displaying a rich tapestry of history. Among them is the famous line, "Guilin's scenery is the best under heaven," which originated here. The intangible cultural heritage of the Jingjiang Prince's Palace is "Prince's Palace Rubbings," pioneered by Zhu Zuojing, the fifth Prince of Jingjiang. Using color rubbing techniques, it stems from the study of the palace's stone inscriptions and boasts a 600-year history. The most representative rubbing, featuring the Five Blessings, was featured on CCTV's Spring Festival Gala.
This is a highly recommended attraction. It boasts pristine, ancient scenery. A guide usually leads a group of about 10 people, providing explanations and commentary throughout the visit. It's excellent, allowing you to experience scenery and culture you wouldn't normally see. There are many authentic cultural relics reflecting Guilin's past and present. I suggest visiting if you have the time, but be prepared for the climb to the top for panoramic views of Guilin.
