Most popular destination in Yunnan, pretty convenient to get around since there are shuttle buses inside the national park.
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is a highly recommended natural scenic spot. Its magnificent snow-capped peaks, fresh air, and unique Naxi cultural atmosphere are all unforgettable. Whether you're taking a cable car ride over the primeval forest or gazing at the majestic silhouette of the main peak, Shanzidou, you can feel the awe and tranquility of nature. Blue Moon Valley's crystal-clear lake is picturesque and an ideal spot for taking photos. It is recommended to be aware of altitude sickness when visiting and prepare oxygen cylinders if necessary. Wear warm, non-slip clothing and shoes to cope with the changeable weather on the mountain. The best time to visit is in autumn and winter on a clear day, when there are fewer clouds, more snow, better visibility, and better photo opportunities. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and the service facilities were quite comprehensive, making it an unforgettable trip. Highly recommended for those who love natural scenery.

A day trip by car through Shangri-La is incomplete without visiting this classic attraction. In comparison, Hukou Waterfall pales in comparison. The elevator is a must-buy; hopefully, I'll have the chance to hike Tiger Leaping Gorge sometime in the future and admire Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Haba Gorge.
Stunning views! if you can, try to avoid the 28 bends (or whatever the number of the bends) - there are no views, just suffering. after that its perfect 👌

The view from the mountaintop was decent, but the staff at the Zhonghe cable car station were incredibly rude. We came here to have fun, not to owe them money. Who are they trying to fool with their attitude? I suggest they make improvements.
The facilities are complete, the environment is nice, clean and hygienic, the service is good, and it's convenient to go anywhere. The surrounding environment is also very good. The cleanliness and hygiene are excellent, suitable for travel and business trips!

Lugu Lake is beautiful. Driving from Lijiang, the road passes by the lake, but you need some driving experience, especially as the roads get more difficult closer to the lake. Even so, it's still worth the trip.
The scenery is absolutely stunning, like something out of a painting. I would definitely come back just for the view. However, the downsides are the boat and car rental options. They keep trying to scam you with all sorts of traps. I recommend coming by car!

The autumn scenery is incredibly beautiful on a rainy day; it was drizzling the day I visited. I only went for a walk around Shudu Lake and visited Bita Lake. The scenery was beautiful, and there were many fearless little squirrels that you could feed.
Make sure to wear comfortable shoes. Don't try to find shortcuts instead of hiking to explore different areas, because the best parts are in the deeper parts, so you have to go out and explore. Ideally, the weather should be sunny, as the scenery is beautiful everywhere.

The only 5A scenic area in Dali, a royal temple. A must-see in Dali. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperating; it rained the whole time, so I didn't get to take any pictures of Cangshan Mountain. The exit layout of the scenic area is not very reasonable; I walked a lot of unnecessary paths.
On an overcast day on October 11th, I visited Chongsheng Temple. Set against the misty Cangshan Mountain, the ancient Three Pagodas and numerous magnificent temples were awe-inspiring. The entire park is large and tranquil, and if you have time, you could spend most of the day here. It's not too far from Dali Ancient Town, and you can buy tickets within the scenic area to ride electric carts up and down the mountain. Admission to Chongsheng Temple is 75 yuan, but there are many promotions. Tickets to Dali are free with a flight. I used a China Mobile coupon, which allowed me to buy a free ticket on Ctrip, but I had to wait 15 minutes after the ticket was issued before I could enter the park.

A worthwhile ancient town to explore. Although it's commercialized, it's not annoying. It's spacious, so it doesn't feel crowded once people disperse. It has a cultural atmosphere. Tickets are valid for 7 days; we went twice.
The ancient town boasts a rich cultural heritage, with well-preserved Ming and Qing dynasty architecture, ancestral halls, and alleyways, exuding a vibrant atmosphere of daily life. Attractions such as the library and laundry pavilion embody the unique culture of this overseas Chinese hometown. Strolling along the stone-paved streets, the pastoral scenery blends seamlessly with a sense of history, offering a leisurely pace. However, commercialization is evident, with some areas becoming noisy with tourists, and the ticket policy is controversial. It is recommended to avoid the main street and instead explore the alleyways to interact with locals, in order to truly experience the essence of this "living ancient town," making it worthwhile to spend 1-2 days immersing yourself in its charm.

The scenery is quite spectacular and worth a visit. However, the time spent queuing for the electric shuttle bus is enough to climb up the mountain yourself. On the way down, I decided to skip the shuttle bus and walk down. The scenery is definitely worth checking out; it truly is a wonder!
The Big Boiling Pot and Yugu Hot Spring are very close to each other. We did our research online and bought a package ticket, then took a shuttle bus directly to Yugu Hot Spring. After eating Ersi (a type of rice noodle), we took the shuttle bus directly to Yugu Hot Spring. We only soaked in the carbonated and sulfurous hot spring pools and steamed pine needles. The shower area afterwards was terrible; several faucets were broken, so I'll give it a bad review. There were a lot of people around the Big Boiling Pot in Rehai. We took a picture, bought two creative ice creams, checked in, and left. The photo shows the hot spring pool inside the Tengchong Bailian Hotel; it's quite nice.

A must-see in Lijiang is the "Eternal Love Show"! The performance is fast-paced, from the legend of the caravan to the Third Kingdom of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, each chapter is sure to bring tears to your eyes. There are also many interactive experiences within the scenic area, including NPC interactions where you can win silver tickets that can be redeemed for exquisite gifts. My favorite outdoor performance was the ethnic flash mob; the performers were all incredibly energetic and spirited. A truly enjoyable experience, I highly recommend it when visiting Lijiang.
The stage effects are absolutely stunning, a perfect blend of technology and art! The giant water curtain, the 360-degree rotating stage, and the use of high-altitude wire work bring historical stories to life. A dozen people forming a giant roc, the cascading waterfall, and the sudden "flying acrobatic" performances always elicit screams from the audience. This show is truly a cinematic experience. If you're coming to Lijiang, remember to book your tickets in advance—they're definitely worth it!

Erhai Lake, a plateau freshwater lake located in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China, is known as the "Pearl of the Plateau." - Origin of the name: It was given the name "Erhai" because of its resemblance to a human ear and its sea-like waves. - Climate: It has a typical mid-subtropical plateau monsoon climate, characterized by mild seasons, minimal annual temperature fluctuations, abundant sunshine with a wide diurnal range, distinct dry and wet seasons, and uneven seasonal rainfall. The average annual temperature is 15.1°C, and the lake surface temperature ranges from 1°C to 20°C year-round, with ice remaining year-round.
I had hoped for a molten golden sunset by the sea, but instead, I encountered a lingering rainy day, which unexpectedly brought a unique tenderness. Lead-gray clouds hung low above the horizon, and the wind, wrapped in sea mist, blew against my face, bringing a salty, damp coolness that was far more soothing than the sweltering heat of a sunny day. The beach had lost its usual bustle, a few scattered footprints quickly smoothed by the rising tide. The fishing boats in the distance were blurred silhouettes in the mist, like a smudged ink painting. I found a small seaside shop, sat down, ordered a cup of hot ginger tea, and watched the rain slant into the sea, splashing tiny drops of water. Occasionally, a seagull flew past, close to the crest of the waves, its cries softened by the wind. Without the glare of the sun, even time seemed to slow down. No need to rush to tourist attractions or snap photos, just quietly listening to the crashing waves and rain was a more soothing experience than the bustle of a sunny day. A rainy evening by the sea lacked the expected breathtaking spectacle, but it brought an unexpected sense of relaxation. If you also want to avoid the crowds and find some quiet time, such a moment may be more worthwhile than a clear sky.
