I've been here three years in a row, always buying tickets on Ctrip. It's always great. I bought tickets specifically for September 1st, but because of the military parade, schools in Beijing were closed. It was crowded and the lines were long, but it was still fun.

The Palace Museum is a large comprehensive museum built on the basis of the Ming and Qing imperial palaces and their collections. It integrates ancient architectural complexes, palace collections, and cultural arts from past dynasties. It is a national 5A-level scenic spot, covering an area of more than 1 million square meters and preserving about 9,000 ancient buildings. It is the largest and best-preserved ancient palace complex in China.
It was a very rewarding trip to the Forbidden City. It was really worth signing up for the tour. Not only did I not have to worry about booking tickets for the Forbidden City, but I was also able to learn about historical stories while visiting. The tour guide, Lin Yi, was very energetic throughout the trip, and his explanations were very interesting. He also reminded tourists where to rest and shared delicious food in Beijing.

Badaling, located in Beijing's Yanqing District, is the best-preserved section of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall. Since ancient times, it has been a strategic point known as the "key to the northern gate." Constructed of granite stone slabs, its walls stretch for 23 kilometers, rising over eight meters and capable of supporting five horses galloping side by side. Its elaborate defensive system of watchtowers, battlements, and urn walls, forming a majestic dragon-like structure amidst the mountain ridges, has earned it the nickname "Nine Fortresses of the World." Nearly five kilometers of the section is currently open to the public, housing facilities such as the Great Wall Museum and the introduction of technologies like drone delivery to enhance services. It has become a landmark for Chinese and international visitors to experience the grandeur of Chinese history.
We finally made it to the magnificent Badaling Great Wall. Seniors over 60 are free, but they need to exchange their tickets at the window and then queue up to enter. The shuttle bus is also free. This ticket is a great deal.

The brick carvings on the back conceal bat and copper coin motifs, symbolizing "blessings are within reach."
I've been to Beijing several times and never visited Prince Gong's Mansion. This time, I made a point to spend half a day there. I didn't hire a tour guide because I could just hop on the tour! 🙃 There were so many live streamers. They were all very good and detailed. It was fun to just hop on the tour and listen!

On a summer evening, head to the Temple of Heaven. It boasts more than just the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Echo Wall, but also ancient trees and shady trails. Birds can stroll through the grass, and squirrels happily forage for food. It's a pure, healing energy. The red walls near the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests are a uniquely Beijing red. Surrounded by ancient trees dating back three to five hundred years, simply walking among them feels like visiting an ancient site. Mighty trees offer a shady umbrella, and relaxing on a bench beneath them, feeling the surging greenery and the setting sun, is a truly relaxing experience.
The Temple of Heaven is much larger than I imagined. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests is truly majestic and spectacular. You can't truly appreciate it without experiencing it firsthand. I highly recommend going if you haven't been!

The entire trip was sparsely populated, except for the slightly crowded stretch from the Seventeen-Arch Bridge to the Hall of Renshou near Kunming Lake. A boat from Xidi Pier to Nanhu Island cost 30 yuan one-way, with no lines and very few people. Along the way, I admired the lotus flowers, took a boat tour of Kunming Lake, enjoyed the scenery of Longevity Hill and the Tower of Buddhist Incense, and admired the lotuses at the Garden of Harmonious Fun. However, the Yigongzi Café at the Garden of Harmonious Fun has recently closed, so if you'd like to enjoy a cup of coffee while admiring the lotuses, consider bringing your own coffee. Aside from a slightly sunny spot near Kunming Lake, the rest of the trip was shady and cool, with a refreshing breeze.
There are endless topics to talk about the Summer Palace. For a Beijinger, the Summer Palace is the best choice. No matter you go there once, ten times, or a hundred times, you still haven't seen the whole picture of the Summer Palace. Generally speaking, a park with a few gardens within a garden is quite good, but no one knows how many gardens within a garden there are, because up to now, no one knows how many gardens within a garden there are that have not been opened. The Painting Tour opened two years ago, and Yangyunxuan opened this year. I don't know which garden will be open next year. I can go to the Summer Palace at least a hundred times, but there are still many places in the Summer Palace that I have not been to, and some are not open. It is impossible to see all the gardens in such a big garden.

The South Trail to Watchtower No. 6 is quite easy and less crowded. Then, we took the North Trail down. The North Trail is steep, so the ascent isn't easy, but the descent is no problem. And wouldn't it be nice to save a few hundred bucks on the cable car and just eat Peking duck? It's said Mondays are more crowded because the museums are closed, but we didn't feel crowded when we walked the trail from Watchtowers 6 to 13. Attached is my personal route: South Trail → Watchtower No. 6 → Watchtower 12 → Back to Watchtower 10 → North Trail down. I've personally tried this route, which saves time and effort, and also allows for great photos!
Great trip. Perfect!! The road to tower 20 - Hero's Platform. Cable car + Tabagoon worth it!!

The environment is very clean, the service attitude is commendable, it's a ten-minute walk from the tourist attractions, there are morning and night markets behind, the atmosphere is very rich, I will stay here again next time 😎
The Mountain Resort, a model of imperial gardens, boasts an ingenious landscape layout and pavilions and towers that embody the grandeur of a royal garden. Its cool summer weather makes it an ideal retreat for summer relaxation. A one- to two-day visit is recommended, with admission priced at 130 yuan during peak season. Experience the grandeur and tranquility of this imperial garden.

The Beijing Wildlife Park is located in Daxing District. It was my first time taking my kids there, so I chose to drive. In addition to the 145 yuan adult ticket, there was also a 200 yuan vehicle fee per car [children under 1 meter are free, and children over 1 meter are charged 90 yuan]. It happened to rain in Beijing the day we went. I thought it would be cooler on rainy days, and it would be more convenient to drive with children, but we didn’t expect to be caught in a heavy downpour, and the young animals were impossible to see. What’s even worse is that the road waterproofing system of Beijing Wildlife Park was severely flooded in some places due to the large amount of water, causing the road to collapse. We were forced to wait in the car for nearly 2 hours for the park to deal with the accumulated water, so we didn’t have time to go to the walking tour area later. So I advise everyone not to go there on rainy days, and I hope that Beijing Wildlife Park can improve and improve its emergency management to avoid inconvenience to tourists.
It exceeded my expectations. The zoo is so huge. I only saw about 50% of it from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The wild animal experience area and the train were fantastic. I got really close to the animals, and the scenery from the train was truly stunning. I'd definitely go see a show next time I get the chance.

Beautiful place, clean tungsten, gorgeous territory, beautiful well-groomed animals, recommend to visit.
I went to the zoo in the morning. The panda house was on the right hand side as soon as I entered. The panda house required a separate ticket of 5 yuan. I had to queue up separately for the Xizhimen San Taizi. After watching for 5 minutes, the crowd cleared and the next person came to visit. If Menglan went back to the house, they would not let you in. Many people brought selfie sticks. The glass of the zoo is very reflective, so it was better to use a selfie stick away from the glass. In fact, as long as Menglan came out, the queue was quite fast. I happened to catch up with the bamboo eating in the morning and saw several pandas eating bamboo.
