The value for money was quite good. The small group of less than 15 people, the cool breeze in late September, and the short queues allowed us to see all the major caves in three hours. Our guide, Xiaoguan, was also very conscientious and detailed in his explanations. He also repeatedly checked to see if we had found the corresponding figures on the cave murals.
This is a fantastic attraction. The scenic area provides a clear explanation of the formation of the Wannian Ice Cave. Furthermore, unlike other ice caves around the world, you have to enter the cave to explore it. The cave is well-preserved, and the lighting makes it even more captivating. The only downside is that the scenic area allows dogs to enter the cave.

The tour started with a meeting point to board a bus to bring us to the attraction entrance. Our guide Lianghua was punctual, gave us an introduction of the Mount Tai and brought us around. She was readily available to answer our questions and was helpful throughout the tour. The climb at the 18 bends was challenging yet satisfying. Over 3000 steps. The view at the peak was great and totally worth it. Amazing experience overall.
Overall, I like the cable car at Mount Tai, but the scenery at Mount Tai is really good. The price is not expensive, especially for the elderly, who are free or half price, which is very friendly. You don’t have to carry too many things up the mountain, and there are things for sale. I personally feel that it is not very expensive and within an acceptable range.

I took my family to the provincial capital for a weekend getaway, and unexpectedly ran into a crowd attending Jay Chou's concert. We arrived at Baotu Spring late, so it was relatively quiet. The scenery was beautiful, with the weeping willows and spring water reflecting off each other, and the kids were delighted. The path is quite staircase-heavy and gravelly, making it less stroller-friendly. If you don't have a helper, bring a lightweight stroller.
Stepping into Baotu Spring Park feels like stepping into a natural ink painting. Three clear springs gush endlessly, like jade liquid rising into the air and snow-capped waves surging, their endless vitality awe-inspiring! Surrounding the park are exquisite pavilions and weeping willows swaying in the water, perfectly blending the grandeur of northern gardens with the graceful beauty of Jiangnan scenery. Li Qingzhao's former residence, nestled within the park, adds a touch of cultural elegance. The water is crystal clear, revealing the bottom, and koi carp swim gracefully. Watching from the railing, your heart follows the tranquility of the springs, and your worries vanish. Admire the crabapple blossoms in spring and the chrysanthemums in autumn. The misty winter air, shrouded in mist, creates a truly dreamlike scene. Jinan's soul converges here, truly the most vibrant pearl of the Qilu region!

The most worthwhile scenic spot in Taiyuan. I go there at least 6 times a year. It has rich cultural connotations and a lot of history to learn. It covers a wide range of history, including the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, the Tang Dynasty and the Song Dynasty, as well as modern history.
The heritage left by our ancestors is amazing and the scenery is great. There are different levels of paid explanations, and no free explanations. If you have enough time, it should be very pleasant to stroll around the courtyard. The natural scenery and ancient buildings complement each other. Jin Temple is the most worth-seeing ancient building in Shanxi!

Pingyao Ancient City is quite large. There are electric cars (10 yuan per trip) that go from the parking lot at Xiaoximen to the ancient city. There are many of these cars at the entrances of the city's tourist attractions. You need to buy a pass to visit the attractions in the ancient city.
Compared to all the famous ancient cities in China, Pingyao Ancient City can truly be described as a truly ancient city. It retains the features of an ancient city, with its escort agencies, banks, government offices, City God Temple, and Confucian Temple all well-preserved. The only drawback is the lack of signage leading into the ancient city. I wonder if the scenic area is deliberately trying to encourage electric taxi drivers to take advantage of short journeys, but they're taking detours to justify the distance and charge a ten-yuan fare per person. The scenic area also has plenty of clean restrooms, which I commend for their management.

In terms of scenery, this tower is truly stunning. As for the story, it's definitely worth finding a guide to listen carefully and see the story carefully; otherwise, it's hard to understand why this tower is so famous. The parking lot is spacious, and even during May Day, you can still get a tour guide. Although the line to enter the tower looked long, it didn't take long, and the inside is worth seeing.
The night view is wonderful. The view of the wooden pagoda from the fountain in the Qi Garden is stunning, a blend of movement and stillness. The pagoda boasts numerous plaques, including one from the Jin Dynasty. Entering through the circular doorway, you can photograph the entrance where Liang Sicheng measured the height of the pagoda's finial. Entering the first floor, besides the main Buddha with a beard, you'll also see six mural Buddhas on either side, each with its own graceful postures. The walls on both sides of the inner and outer gates are covered in murals depicting donors, guardian deities, and the precious flowers on the Buddha's robes—a variety of beautiful designs. The plaque "Eternal Town of Jincheng" holds profound meaning. Jincheng was the ancient name for Ying County. Legend has it that when King Li Keyong of Jin was born, a golden phoenix flew out of a well, giving rise to the name Jinfengcheng.

First, Hengshan Hanging Temple, the whole temple is tightly attached to the cliff of Hengshan, only with a pillar support, very dangerous, seems to fall at any time, daunting. 2. The suspension temple at the foot of Hengshan Mountain is exquisitely built and amazing. A monastery is standing like a sky, so you have to marvel at the wonderful ideas of the craftsmen thousands of years ago. 3. I really don't know how the people who built the suspension temple carried the stones and wood up the mountain. Fourth, the hanging temple of Beiyue Hengshan is rare in the world.

If you come to Datong for the first time, you must visit Huayan Temple. I want to see the kissing at Huayan Temple. I want to see all the historical sites at Huayan Temple. It is very knowledgeable and broadens your horizons. It is very good. I like Datou very much. I like Datong's weather and the people of Datong. The service here is super good.
Huayan Temple, comprising the Upper and Lower Temples, forms a magnificent Liao and Jin architectural complex. A first-tier National Protected Site, it faces west and east. The Upper Temple's Main Hall, a nine-bay, five-deep, hipped-roof structure, is the largest in China. The temple boasts Liao-era landforms, Jin-era halls, Ming-era sculptures, and Qing-era murals, along with relics from various dynasties. The Lower Temple's Bodhisattva Hall, also a Liao-era structure, is particularly famous for its grinning Bodhisattva statue.

I bought my Mount Wutai ticket and the Wuye Bodhisattva Body-Expanding Talisman on Ctrip. On the bus to Mount Wutai, the driver told me my Ctrip ticket might not work. I was apprehensive. Could Ctrip be so unreliable? Then I figured I could just buy new tickets at the customer service center. I was immediately able to enter after swiping my ID at the entrance gate. What a relief! Ctrip is trustworthy!
A very nice scenic spot for sightseeing, with great natural scenery, a summer resort. A paradise for religious pilgrims, the scenic area is very large, and both inside and at the top of the mountain are very comfortable...

I arrived at the Yanmen Pass that I had longed for. It has a long history and is magnificent. I felt the long history of Chinese culture. I climbed the Great Wall, walked from the North Gate to the South Gate, and then walked from the South Gate to the North Gate. The experience was simply too great.
Yanmen Pass was a last-minute addition to our itinerary, and it was beyond my wildest dreams. The rich history and culture made me feel like I was witnessing the heroes who guarded the pass! While it's a long section of the Great Wall, the climb wasn't too strenuous! It's definitely worth a visit, highly recommended!
